Sushi Thai in Raleigh. The location was easy to find parking. I was given a small table and I asked the hostess to see if I could switch to another table because I was going to order more items . First thing the hostess told me is if I was going to be taking a long time. Please note there were more tables available. I told her I didn't want to fee rushed. I wanted to leave since I felt the rush. However I stayed . The Cary location is my normal Sushi Thai ( please note never once I've ever had any feedback to give from that location). The sushi was fantastic however the hibachi I ordered was not the best. I was given. A drink menu however was told from the server that there was no bartender. The parking lot is very big- no parking- the plaza was busy. The hostesses were friendly- I asked for a side of spicy mayo and gluten free soy sauce. I ordered 8 rolls- this sushi- Thai gave me all 8. They are BOGO. You pay extra for the spicy mayo- the container was filled only halfway. I only got Two packages of soy sauce (the person I was bringing sushi for was have 2 of the rolls) definitely not enough soy sauce) The sushi was unmarked I the container- it made it very hard to separate- especially because of the Gluten Free ones- we had to pull up the menu to separate them. However, I really enjoyed the sushi rolls i ordered! I ordered the crunchy shrimp roll and sweet ninja roll and they were both delicious. All of the sushi rolls are $19.95 and BOGO. We ended our meal with the mayo sticky rice. This was my first time having it and it was so tasty and perfectly sweet. The service was warm and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the restaurant was once I got past the entrance, plus, it has a full bar! I really love that they will adjust the spice level of the Thai dishes. The pad thai is great, especially when I get it spicy. I also like the dumplings with their red curry sauce. So yummy! I'm a huge fan of the veggie pad thai and the chicken option. The staff here are always extremely busy, as Sushi-Thai tends to be a hot spot. The pad thai is always deliciously flavorful. Plenty of veggies are in this entree. My only complaint is that the soft drinks are extremely high. A soft drink (non-bottled) is almost $4. Not to be confused with the completely different restaurant of the same name in Cary. This restaurant just received a C from the health department March 30, 2026. This is the most disgusting sushi roll I've ever had in my life. I don't even want to describe it because that will require me to relive it. The health department report showed The restaurant was in violation of 17 standards. Violations include employees not washing their hands after handling raw chicken and raw beef, raw chicken was cut on a cutting board that then had raw vegetables cut on it, sushi was not stored at the proper temperatures and boxes of yellowfin tuna and wonton wrappers was found on the floor of the walk-in cooler, among other violations. read more

We were so upset with the service and their sales gimmicks, we could not truly enjoy the food. Came as a family: were ignored first, asked three times for sugar. No utensils/plates were provided, so we sat staring at the appetizer without means to eat it. The server forgot to order on of the items for us, so we just had $21 8-piece sushi... Got this for takeout on a Saturday night. It was excellent! I started with a miso soup and house salad with ginger, both were spectacular. I had two sushi rolls, which were relatively cheap. And just to round it out I tried the sesame chicken. Everything was excellent. As with all Asian food, the price was expensive, but compared to other restaurants in the area it was not bad. Wow, this place is great, especially if one is on a budget. New and expanded menu. Staff are great and I would recommend this restaurant.

The quality of the food is fine but the restaurant kitchen staff does not follow directions. It is not a special request to indicate what level of spice you want on your dishes. However, in a recent order we asked for mild on all dishes and also asked them to leave out several ingredients including green peppers. There were green peppers in everything and the food was so hot it made our foreheads sweat. We've had plenty of spicy food but even the massaman curry which is rarely spicy at all when made authentically was extremely hot. Maybe they are just mad at their delivery customers because they don't like the deal going on between them and Uber who knows? Either way, not ordering from this restaurant again. read more

Recently the last two times Ive gone there the rice was overcooked and had crunchy pieces mixed in like they are not using all fresh fried rice. My cousin chose this location for cousin night dinner.  It was bigger inside than it appeared and they have a large menu selection. A few of us got sushi and a few got other dishes. Everything was very good and fresh. To start, we shared Sexy Shrimp, fried wonton, pot stickers crab ragoons. Best ragooms ever! Love cream cheese but these were full of crab,  which is unusual,  and had great flavor.  Not a huge fan of Pad Thai... just because... but theirs was really good. They also had a buy one get one sushi roll which makes my pocketbook happy. Got the fireball roll which had nice and spicy jalenpeno's on it and the in roll we trust. Their hours stare they are open until 9 pm on Sundays. I drive all the way over there and get there at 8:40. They said they could not take my order because the kitchen starts cleaning up at 8:30. they should not post they are open until 9 pm if they are not able to take orders after 8:30 pm. Their hours should state 8:30 pm closing time. In addition, I tried to bring back my fried rice that was soggy and cold. They also argued with me that they make it fresh every day. I must have gotten the bottom of the pot rice. I wouldn't have driven all the back if the kitchen closed at 8:30 pm. I was going to purchase a second order and get my rice replaced.
