I have called this company many times over the years. here is one of the situations i had to deal with when i steeped out side for like 2 seconds to grab the mail and i knew it was over when i heard the door close behind me. (I know i put the newspaper in the door jam to keep the door open.) i must have called like 10 places "near by" most said over a 3 hour wait, when They answered the phone and told me someone could be by as soon as 30min. He told me that if i wanted service right away it would cost a bit extra because they would pull someone from the office to come help me. I just wanted to get back in the house so i told them to hurry up. The locksmith was at my house in about 15min. He tried to pick the lock for like 10min. sadly he couldn't pick the lock he said its because medico locks are difficult to pick open. He gave me a few options so he could get me in, i picked drilling the lock. it probably took him another 10min. to get the door open. It was expensive but he replaced the cylinder with a new medico lock and he changed the pins inside so that my key would work with the new lock. (this took him about 30min.) like i said it was expensive but i am very happy with the work and the service. I pray that i never have to call you guys again but if i do i hope someone like Ben comes to save the day. read more

The most unfortunate thing happen to me the other night. I was locked out of my home and I had just came back from the grocery store. I bought a few groceries but the sad part was my ice cream. We all know what happens to ice cream when it doesn't get to a freezer fast enough! So I immediately found them on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They answered my call very quickly and gave me a reasonable quote on the phone! So they promised me to be at my house in twenty minutes and I couldn't stress how important it was for them too get here ASAP because of my ice cream. I had three tubs of ice cream I couldn't wait to get inside and eat them, so you can imagine how important it was for me to get in my home. I would've eaten it outside waiting for the locksmith but unfortunately I didn't have a spoon. Bummer, but at least they did hold their promise and came actually one minute earlier (yes I timed them- thank you Siri). When Ildefonso (I had to write his name down, different but very lovely name) pull up he immediately saw me at the door and introduced himself and assured me not to worry that everything will be taken care of. I recently moved to west Rogers park since then I have a need a locksmith two times the first time is when I moved I had my locks changed and the second time was a few months later I got locked out of my car. my experience with this company has been amazing I have no bad things to say the first time I called it in they were very nice and polite and explained everything to me over the phone they had a service tech at my house in less than five minutes he was very nice and polite and explained everything to me in detail I accepted one of his quotes and the service guy begun doing the work at the end of the work he discounted the work and even did extra repairs around the house at no extra charge, the second time I needed them is when I got locked out of my car same thing they were there within 5 to 7 minutes and unlocked my car with ease The people answering the phone and the people working here are truly really nice and professional they go way above and beyond the call of duty to help and I would highly recommend them to anyone and search for locksmith in the Chicagoland or west Rogers park area. read more

I recently called yosef to send someone to install a new lock on the storage room door of one of my buildings. I added before and after photos so you can see what they did. Here's what happened, I wanted to buy the lock from them but the guy on the phone told me that it would cost around $200 for the lock + $100 for the installation. I looked up the lock on a website and found that I could buy it for around $125 so I bought it to save the $75. It took a few days for it to arrive so I set up an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. The technician showed up about 5 minutes late. (For me this is no big deal) Then the technician took the handel off the door and then spent the next 2 hours drilling and cuting into the door to install the new lock. (He had said it would take around 45 minutes so an extra 75 minutes is a big deal to me.) After about 2 hours he had both locks installed and the area was returned to as clean as it was when he got there. I am happy with the price and I am happy with the work that was done. I was having a problem with my front door lock. I called Chicago North Town locksmith to ask about a new deadbolt. The tech was at my house only a few min late but the customer service is amazing. He was very helpful and walked me through many options that I had. We decided to get a better deadbolt and not change the handle because of the cost. The tech got started right away and in about an hour the new lock was installed. He showed me how to make the code work and then left me to set it. I plane that when I get my next paycheck I'll call them out again to install a new handle to match. I was very happy to see that he didn't do any visible damage to the door. Thank you again Ben. I was in a pickle or a jam as they say. This happened yesterday. My nephew missplaced my keys to my side door. He is 3 so he was not gonna tell me where they were.
