Sometimes you need to phone in the professionals, this was one of those times. I needed to have the striker replaced and door banged out for my garage. He managed to save me money by saving my lock. His prices are super affordable and he is really professional. This guy knows exactly what he is doing because I was lost. The door and lock works like a dream now! I am so happy to use him for years to come! I highly recommend everyone use Northside Locksmith for all your Locksmith needs. A good and honest business to have in the rolodex! I left a review on Google for them as they never showed up or called to cancel a service call. They responded by calling me a liar and published my personal phone number in their response. This is the text I got back from them. read more

Northside Locksmith - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

Quick, friendly and a fair price! Highly recommend and will share Angelo's info with everyone we know who needs a locksmith.

Angelo is the best. I called him to re-key the house I just bought and he talked me through the best options. He changed out 5 old locks with 5 different keys so that I'd have just two keys: one for the front entry and one for the rear. He was on time, very professional, and an all-around nice guy. Very reasonable prices and totally up front about costs, too. You'll be glad you called Angelo! read more

I moved into a new home and wanted the locks rekeyed. Angelo did an excellent job with three locks and added a deadbolt to a door I was concerned about. He also secured a sliding door. He came out immediately and offered me great advice on home security. I highly recommend his services. He is very professional, fast and efficient. read more

My lock was stuck and I could not get in. I bought a new lock as I thought he would have to saw off the other one. Nope within minutes he opened the lock. I did change the lock anyway as I did not want it to get stuck again. He was professional and polite and only charged me $69. I was very happy with him. Now.. I need to call him to see if he can program my car key fob. Very nice guy. read more

Angelo was outstanding. I wanted a single key for my house. One of my locks needed to be a different type to allow this. He made recommendations and went to the store to make it happen. Four locks were done, quickly and quietly. I was on conference calls the whole time he was here and nobody could tell he was here. Would hire him again in a heartbeat! read more

Great service and a reasonable price, especially considering it was Saturday. . We were trying to change out an old mortise double lock and managed to lock it and didn't have a key for the second lock. Angelo called when he was on his way, opened it quickly and added a new deadbolt . All in all , the most painless locksmith service that I have ever experienced. Definitely give him a call because he also actually answers the phone, so you are not going through a service. read more

Angelo was awesome!!! I had never used a locksmith before and needed to have a whole house re-keyed. He explained everything over the phone, so I understood everything that actually needed to be done and made suggestions about what would work best on different doors. Not only was Northside Locksmith the most knowledgeable and helpful, but they were priced the best, too. I talked with and checked pricing with three different locksmiths prior to scheduling an appointment. Definitely store this company's number in your phone!!! read more

Angelo is a trustworthy, calm, gentlemen that I would recommend to anyone wanting affordable and honest pricing along with spectacular service. I called many locksmiths before picking Angelos company and decided to go with him because he was polite and genuine over the phone. Upon showing up Angelo gave me prices that beat out 5 other major competitors that I had called. His customer service skills were also on point, so I decided to go with him. He is also fast and efficient in whatever locksmith needs you may have. I got locks re keyed, metal brackets added on doors, and new locks. The entire process took about an hour and every key worked perfectly. He also gave me extra keys and engraved the letters on each key that I needed. I never felt uncomfortable while he was working and most importantly I now feel safe at my place knowing that the locks Angelo provided are sturdy and durable. I HIGHLY recommend Angelos company to all of the people of Chicago who is looking for a job well done and a company that won't rip you off. read more

Angelo was very professional, on-time, and easy to communicate with over text message to schedule a time for him to visit. He lives far away but was willing to come to downtown Chicago. He came to change out all the keys, and I was inquiring about deadbolts and he explained to me that it wasn't necessary as 1 set had top/bottom deadbolts already so it'd be redundant, and for another door he was explaining that it would be risky due to the plating of the door so he didn't want to damage it. He suggested relying on our security system instead. I appreciate that he wasn't trying to upsell me and just doing what was needed. He also fixed the gate knob and was able to run to the local locksmith store to get the right parts for me. Later on, the gate repair guys seemed to mess his knob up and he was still willing to come all the way down the day after I texted him to fix it at no charge. Really appreciate his help, will definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Angelo! read more
