Just another 5 star review for Gilad K.!!! We live in Florida but needed a to change the locks in my brothers condo in Carol Stream. We found Gilad on YELP and were impressed with his reviews. Gilad was everything we read about. He's just a really nice guy who aims to please. He did a great job with the locks, allowing us to keep the existing doorknobs which were in good shape. When he was done, we asked him to tighten loose handles on some sliding glass doors. They're on the third floor and no longer locked ( not a big issue on the 3rd floor) but he tightened the screws and returned them to locking condition for us at no extra charge. Can't recommend Gilad highly enough. Thanks again Gilad!!! read more

I had my entire house re-keyed by Chicagoland Locksmith Services and could not be more happy and satisfied! GREAT service, GREAT business! I needed a handful of locks re-keyed on my new house and came across Chicagoland Locksmith Services randomly here on Yelp. Boy am I glad I did because the service was top notch. After speaking with Gilad (the owner) for an initial quote I informed him that I was going to shop around. He requested I call him back after getting another quote, and also advised me of some additional fees others will charge that they don't include in their quotes, so that he could attempt to match it. I did, and he did! In fact, as one should expect, he BEAT it! The nicest thing was how close he was to the house and that he was totally fine with me bringing him the locks to him. It was just a short drive so we were both cool with it. We communicated by text message and he was 100% professional and flexible. On top of that, he was FAST! He re-keyed 4 dead bolts, 3 handles, and a sliding glass door lock in just about an hour and he not only put them all on the same key but made duplicate keys for me as well (for a small additional charge). When I picked them up he and I chatted for a bit and he informed me that he also does several other services, including garage doors and springs (for which I'll keep him in mind in the future). It's been about a week now and everything works flawlessly! Nothing but praise for Gilad (owner) and his locksmith business. He's incredibly responsive, friendly, thorough and has reasonable pricing. Easy to text back/forth without all the silly phone tag that would normally occur elsewhere forcing the project to take twice as long as it needs to. Highly recommend! Gilad rekeyed 4 locks in our new home, programmed a garage door opener, and serviced the garage when he uncovered a problem with the springs. He uncovered this problem due to his diligence in his explanation of things. Everything he did, he explained fully, and still answered many questions (in some cases multiple times when I didn't understand right away) and offered advice when I asked. He took his time to make sure the job was done correctly. He even took care of additional things, like drilling a slightly larger opening to allow a deadbolt lock to close smoothly, greasing our garage door chain, among several other things. I could have given 5 stars had the price been little low. $100 for the handyman to come and additional charges for opening the lock. My friends in San Francisco paid a total of $70 for the same door lock condition. Staying in Illinois suburb, I would expect better prices. Super fast response! I messaged them on Sunday night after 10 pm and Gilad response back in minutes. My garage tension spring broke. He stayed on the phone with me for 1/2 hour explaining all of my options.(As I asked him for further advise on whether to get a new opener.) He was out the next day by noon. Very knowledgeable and even tuned up my door opener. I highly recommend them from my excellent experience.
