I was told the locksmith was going to arrive within 1 hour. At 15 minutes till, I got a call saying they were on the way from the last job. It took another hour to show up. In total the entire thing took almost 2.5 hours just to show up after being told the whole job would take an hour. read more

First contacted this company around 10:30 pm regarding getting a key replacement, was told someone will give me a call back in 10minutes. No one ever called me back, i was finally able to get someone on the phone again at 11:30pm and they had no knowledge of my previous call. Said once again a technician will call me back within 10 minutes, its now after midnight still haven't heard anything and their number keeps going to voicemail. Their website claims to have 15 minute response times but clearly this is false advertisement & should be illegal to claim that. read more

I called and was quoted $65 minimum and told the locksmith would arrive in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, the locksmith still hadn't shown up. I called R.O.N. back asking if everything was okay. I was told to hold for a minute. While I was on hold there was no sound on the other end - music etc. I began to question whether my call was disconnected after being on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called back 3 more times over the next 10 minutes and each time it went straight to voicemail. I think I was being screwed with. Please watch out for yourself out there. read more

Our HOA needed to have a handful of items fixed on our property so I connected with R.O.N. Locksmith. Great service, very responsive - came out that day to do an estimate and the following week all our repairs were completed in just 2 hours. We worked with Eran, super nice, helpful and professional. We had two door closers replaced, a security cone added around one of our outdoor gate locks and he adjusted 5 of our doors so they would close appropriately (before they were misaligned or the locks did not fully engage). He literally was like 30 minutes late. Then proceeded to work. Worked on it for 30 minutes and then said well have to break your door down. And for the 30 minutes all he did was pump some airbags and try to push the patch in which he oh so failed at. Then he said if you wanned a new lock it'll be an additional 80. So he would have broken my door down for 175 which I could have done and then proceeded to say that for another 80. I asked him if he could pick the lock and he said he didn't know how to do it. Called another locksmith. Took 10 minutes. Was in right away. Don't waste your money and time. read more

Picture this...11pm on SuperBowl Sunday, Chicago is in a full white out due to the blizzard...and what happens? You get locked out of your apartment. Welcome to my Sunday night. Thank goodness for Joseph at Mr Locks!! I literally called 8 companies before reaching Mr. Locks, all of which claimed to be open 24/7, 365 days a year (all of which also lied). I was losing hope when I finally got a hold of someone at Mr. Locks. The gentleman on the phone told me 15 minutes until Joseph arrived...I almost laughed. How could someone possibly get to me in 15 minutes during a whiteout? Well..I'm not sure how he did it (maybe teleportation?) but he did! He made it in 15 minutes!!! My tingling toes were very grateful. Joseph was incredible! He was so professional, along with being efficient and friendly. I was so happy to finally be out of the blizzard and back into my warm home. Although I wasn't thrilled about the need to replace my deadbolt (we had to drill it), I was still so happy with the excellent service Joseph provided and I even called him to come out again the next day to replace my lock. Long story short, if you're locked out of your place, don't even waste your time scrolling down the list of 24 hour locksmiths on Google- go straight to the best at Mr. Locks. Thanks again, Joseph! In less than an hour they dispatched Owen, their ignition technician, who quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the repair options, provided a quote, and performed the repairs within the estimated quote. He completed the work in an hour and explained options for starting the car to minimize the chance of this problem occurring again in the future. I grabbed the wrong keys as I left my condo on a Friday evening - storage unit keys were not going to help me. The technician showed up in 20 minutes and got me in to my condo - without having to drill the locks! They are a little pricey, but beats the alternative of not being able to get in.
