    Drunken noodles with chicken

Excellent customer service!!! We were on our way back home so grabbed few items to enjoy later... Restaurant is beautifully decorated & the service was excellent we got to speak with the staff member ( don't know if he is the owner) who took our order about our different cultures .... We ordered- Shrimp Wonton soup - small Drunken Noodle - Fresh wide rice noodle sautéed with egg, chili, garlic, yellow onions, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, green bean, red bell peppers and basil leaves. Spicy Eggplant Seafood - Eggplant stir-fried with yellow onions, red bell peppers and sweet basil leaves in our homemade sauce with Thai Jasmine Rice. We enjoyed the food very much & the portion was very generous- had leftovers for the next day too.. Seafood was very fresh . Whenever we are back in Napa we will definitely try it again.

We got a quick to go as we left Napa - we order the Shrimp wonton Soup, Drunken noodles and the Spicy eggplant with seafood . All were tasty and cooked well ! The person manning the ordering counter was very polite courteous and we had a great time conversing with him. He also helped choose the dishes and the portion ( lunch or dinner) very patiently. Ambience was very traditional and place looked very Thai! We will come back for a dine in the next time!

Dined in on a Saturday afternoon - no wait and was seated quickly ! Our server brought out waters and menus right away and we ordered the usuals when we go to a Thai restaurant - yellow curry and pad thai. To start we also got a fresh roll and cheese wontons. All the food came out quickly and was good. One complaint though was that the fresh spring roll was not rolled very well and fell apart when I grabbed it. The yellow curry and pad thai were really tasty and full of flavor. Overall - service was great and food came out quickly so I will definitely be back to dine in again!

This is a casual dining with Traditional Thai dishes. They also serve beer and wine. We had crispy chicken over fried rice, drunken noodles beef, drunken fried rice spicy, and thai iced tea. Big portions, reasonably priced, good customer service. Plenty of parking in the plaza, small place with indoor and outdoor seating (inside).

    Drunken Noodles Beef was delicious

First time trying this place and it lives up to the high reviews. Ordered several dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the beef and papaya salad, the drunken noodle was delicious, portions are generous for their salads. Tom yum soup was filled with lots of veggies and shrimp even for a cup and was the perfect amount. Lunch portion was good but the egg rolls we got were cold. Service was friendly and modern in design. Would come back here next time!

Freaking delicious amazing food!!!! Claps for the mango curry, the Thai tea, and the iced green tea Service was attentive, quick, funny conversation. The lady sat my bf and I in a booth next to eachother, very thoughtful. Pleasant music and not too loud, decor is eye catching. Also food presentation is peak!! Highly recommend this spot for your next Thai craving.

We were three ppl and 2 of them not so hungry. So ended up ordering just 1 starter, 1 soup and 1 main course. Don't go by quantities in pictures as I took them later after 1st serving. Roti curry was good but fried, in most places it's usually not fried I think in other Thai places. Tom kha vegetarian soup came with loads of tofu. May be I should have mentioned to have less tofu and more vegetables. Same for vegetation pad see eww noodles. Overall decent experience. But one person used to take order and some other guy used to serve so he didn't know which table ordered what and there was some confusion And our main course dish came half an hr after other dishes came. So there was a lot of wait.

Located in the same plaza as the movie theatre. Plenty of parking which is a huge plus to have especially when it can get busy on weekends. Overall the flavor of the food was there and the proteins were not overcooked. I opted for the garlic lunch combo with chicken. It was a lot of food, but a little pricier than average. Again though it's Napa so I'm not surprised. I would love to come back and try other dishes since food was prompt and service was continuous. This was a casual dining experience and was not overcrowded.

Seafood Green Seafood Curry; the seafood goes with that explosive flavor of the green curry. I would say this dish is umamilishous.

This restaurant has an ambient interior, calm, and presenting as well as helpful, smooth, and swift. Also the dishes are served well and very flavorful. For anyone seeking a really nice Thai restaurant, I'd recommend this eatery and deserves a five star.

Is it just me or do the prices seem really high compared to other places in Napa?

I found the prices reasonable for the how nice the restaurant is.

There's limited parking in the area, but it can be tight. We had a reservation for a late afternoon and the restaurant was getting pretty busy. I would definitely recommend reservations during peak times dinner hours. We were pleasantly greeted and had an opportunity to walk through a very cool bar area. The restaurants surrounds a courtyard, which would be lovely in warmer weather. Just beyond the courtyard you can see from just about every area of the restaurant right into the kitchen, which is always fun. Without any surprise, there's an extensive wine list available as well as a fantastic list of mixed drinks and mocktails. Every dish was amazingly flavorful with attention to every detail. As visually beautiful as all the dishes tasted. Everything was made with quality ingredients and flawlessly executed. I'm not sure I have enough adjectives to describe how wonderful a dining experience this can be. Highly recommend that you find your way to this tucked away gem.

Service from the host, servers, and bussers went above and beyond. Honestly, couldn't remember what was ordered, but we ordered more than enough. As such, it was extremely noisy and you could see that couples on dates had a hard time even talking to one another, and eventually just stopped. I could barely hear my wife talking next to me. Most of the servers would even have to lean in to hear the orders. As for the food, nothing really stood out. We ordered a large variety as we were a group of 10 eating family style and nothing really stood out. The quality of the food I would say was akin to fast food or mall food court level, but you're paying 3 times as much. The price belied the food quality. For example, 3 small pieces of ribs as an appetizer for more than $30, I'd expect it to be uniquely spiced, flavorful and juicy, but it was rather dry and tasted as like sauce from Panda Express. Their Wagyu beef carpaccio had too many strong flavors so the taste of the beef itself was lost. Heck, it didn't even really have the notable creamy-like texture that wagyu was supposed to have either (likely a lower grade of wagyu, probably somewhere between USDA Choice and Prime). A lot of their items feel gimmicky too: the unagi clay pot came with some seaweed, a seaweed holder, and two small bottles of sauces. The sauces were bland and contributed nothing to the dish. Making your own "hand rolls" with the seaweed did nothing for this dish other than get your hands dirty. I've watched enough Iron Chef back in the day to understand that this is very Morimoto, as he tries to make the dishes fun. The unagi itself was quite nice, though it might be my personal bias. The Halibut we got was overcooked and dry. Yes halibut is a firmer meat, but man this was hard to eat. The best dish was likely the Ishiyaki Buri Bop, which came with some tables idea theatrics. Nevertheless, for the price, you could do much better at a place like Kunjip Tofu in the bay. Overall, a bad experience. Based on the price point, I thought we'd be getting better food and better ambience, but it was overall mediocre - a blemish on the Morimoto name.

*** Vegetarian Review ***…read more None of their dishes have fish sauce so you don't get knocked over the head with the smell when you walk in. They remind me every time I order, but as a vegetarian, we've all had that fish smell delivered to us at a Thai restaurant at least once (probably twice, more likely three times) in our eating lifetimes. It is such a relief to not have to worry about that here. Would I Come Back? Yes, when I'm in town, I make it a point to come here. Did I mention they don't use fish sauce!? Parking is is incredibly easy so that's never an issue. It's a shared parking lot with many stores and other restaurants. I typically go on a Sunday for lunch, and even with a party of 5, I haven't had to wait for a table. Seating capacity is probably 45-50 guests so if you're planning a large party, definitely best to call ahead and make a reservation. The Food: Roti & Yellow Curry ($14, Grade A+): Fried roti with a yellow curry dipping sauce. It's a super savory dish, and honestly, I should have had you at "fried." If you're wondering what roti is, think of it as a buttery, flaky, pan-fried flatbread. It's large enough appetizer to share with 3 people, but you're pushing your luck with 4. Pad Thai with Fried Tofu ($16, Grade A): I've had this dish 5 times now. To be completely transparent, it's the exact reason why I can't give Pearl Thai a full 5-star rating, purely because of consistency. The first time I got it, it was perfect. The second and third times, it had no sauce and was dry. The fourth time, I asked them to make it saucy, and they obliged to an almost soupy level. For this fifth time, I just ordered it straight up and zipped my lip on any alterations. As they say, the fifth time was a charm! When it's made with the perfect amount of sauce, this dish is excellent. The noodles have that exact texture you look for in a pad thai, and the egg gets that great scorch from the wok for an added layer of flavor. Also, the tofu has been incredibly fresh every single time. It never tastes slightly spoiled, which happens a lot in smaller towns that don't heavily support plant-based diets where tofu just sits in a fridge eagerly awaiting someone to order it. Mixed Vegetables ($14, Grade A): Sautéed wood ear mushrooms and mixed vegetables in a garlic soy sauce. If you've ever had Pad Pak, you already know this flavor profile. I really enjoyed it, but next time I'll ask for no carrots and maybe half the garlic. Overall, it's a perfect dish that absolutely requires steamed rice to soak up all that great flavor. Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango ($8, Grade A): The classic dessert we see at all Thai restaurants, but they serve it with purple sticky rice, making it a visually yummy dish. It's plenty of food to share between two people. Bottom Line: The service here is great and very friendly. It's a small, local shop with "Best in Town" awards highlighted on the walls. The environment is clean, and the food is served hot and arrives at the table quick. One Last Word: Don't leave here without ordering the roti with yellow curry for an appetizer. Pure savory goodness!
