White Chocolate mochas! Hearts for Valentine's Day
Angela T.

This coffee is so good it makes you question what you've been drinking before. Seriously. Drinking this coffee, while sitting in front of the storefront was an experience. The coffee was smooth and aromatic with flavors that honestly were unfamiliar to me. GOOD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. The staff were all very friendly and happy to answer all our questions. It's a cute and cozy place with vibes that invite you to stay awhile. How lucky are you if you're a local with access to this gem. Such a pleasant experience. The next time I make a trip from California to Washington, I will be coming back!

So good! The food was hot and fresh and all really good. Coffees were both really really good. Service was super fast and friendly. Lots of seating inside and a calm, nice vibe inside.

Stopped in here for a quick fix of a mocha cappuccino before a nearby tour began. Service was fast and friendly. My order was terrific.

Nice little coffee shop with delicious brewed coffee it has such a great flavor! They have a small sitting area so it's more for grab and go unless you get one of the few tables. Friendly staff and fast service. They have free wifi for their customers which is a nice perk.

Stopped by before a tour...nice place to chill...very spacious. Had some baklava, and of course some of the seasonal specials. Great place, not too busy and the owner was around helping out. Great start to the day.

Stopped in for a bite before our Underground Tour. I had a sesame seed bagel with peanut butter and a mocha. All very tasty and filling. They don't skimp on the peanut butter! Service was fast and friendly. Cute space that screams Seattle! Wish I had time to go back.

We were looking for a breakfast place before our Underground Tour. It's a great place to grab food and wait for the tour. The coffee was high quality. I ordered the Carmello which was smooth a tasty. Their new Sausage and Cheese on Ciabatta bread was good. Make sure you ask them to add an Egg because that added additional to an already good sandwich. Service was prompt. Baristas were nice and welcoming. Inside had seating for 2-4 party groups.

Love Cherry Street Coffee House. We stumbled upon this on your way to the "Beneath the Streets" tour which is located right next door. We wanted to grab breakfast & coffee before the walking tour & this was perfect. The coffee was strong & the breakfast sandwhich was delish. They had 5-6 bagels to choose from and 3-4 filling options. Highly recommend if you're looking for good coffee.

Great local coffee shop! Went multiple times during my weeklong stay in Seattle. Bagels are super fresh and coffee excellent! Definitely check this spot out

Coffee was amazing! Customer service was off the hook! Please, please go get your coffee here! I had a regular coffee with half and half! The 2 ladies were kind and amazing! If you are a local ,.. you are lucky to have these two ladies! They deserve goodness... everyone come bless these ladies and get your smiles and happiness here! You do deserve it!

Flavorful, quality coffee (I tried the winter menu items throughout my time in pioneer square), the food also pairs really well with anything in the menu. The staff are friendly, but also chill which I believe contributes to the overall vibe of the coffee house paired with its ambient and natural lighting, soft music, and seasonal decorations. What a lovely place to enjoy a cup of joe!

this sandwich was highly impressive as the main part of the…read moresandwich, it was pretty necessary that the pork be cooked to near-perfection, and i have to say it was here it gave off a deep, brown-ish color, which showed the extent of it's cooking and marination. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal

The rice and beans are also amazing. I think you could probably go with any sandwich that has your preferred protein source and it would be great. Definitely worth a visit for a great sandwich.

This is THE spot to come before Mariners games or nearby concerts and nobody can convince me otherwise. I've tried them several times in the past and now have my dad hooked as well. Their signature Caribbean Roast sandwich is absolutely phenomenal and I have the hardest time ordering anything else when I'm here. I have tried the nachos version of it before as well, and that's equally delicious. The key is definitely that succulent roasted pork. I will say that the sandwich version is MESSY so don't wear white, and also just be mindful if you have plans after. This year, my dad decided to order a pre-seasoned and smoked turkey from Paseo and my GODDD it was good! We made a gravy from the drippings as well which turned out so good too. We also get their street corn that was said to serve 4-6 but it was generous and we had leftovers. Absolutely a MUST try, 10/10 no notes. There's a reason they have received so much love over the years - no questions, no notes, JUST GO TRY THEM PLEASE.

The indoor space is really cute, but I was confused as to why everything was blocked off and restricted to takeout only. I ordered the famous Caribbean Roast sandwich and a side of rice and beans, which came to a little less than $30. While it's a good sandwich, it felt a bit heavy; I really found myself looking for more acid to cut through the fat and grease. I'm glad I was sharing with Jenny because it's quite a lot for one person. I also noticed toward the end that the bread was burnt. Overall, it's a solid sandwich, but between the stomach issues and the char, I'm not sure I'd go back.

The salty mortadella pairs well with the creamy straciatella (essentially a mozzarella cheese) and the crunchy pistachios. Also, it was a little pricey but the sandwich is relatively large so you get what you pay for. Overall, Fortuna Bottega brings a new sandwich shop to the area and they ingredients are simple however, all together, it works well!

I got the Fast Eddie with fries and it was alright. The meat was bit dry. Yes there was the au jus to dip in and it helped quite a bit, but all the flavors just didn't mesh. It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby.
