Ok so hear me out. This type of food is my jam. I feel like a 3 is harsh, but 4 is too generous. Hummus app was very ok, same with the fries. My chicken barg was good and comparable to other restaurants, but the rice didn't stack up for me. All in all, I just didn't think it was as good as Delbar, Yalda, or Rumi's. I'm sure there are key items here that they might do "better," but I did not have those. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also did not love the vibe if I'm honest. I don't think golf really needs to be playing at the bar tv of a fine establishment that is serving middle eastern food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I know it's to serve the clientele, but not my thing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I know a couple people who love this spot, so could just be me and my friends who came.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Absolutely delicious. Chelo has quickly become one of my favorites in Roswell. Honestly, the food is even better than Delbar or Rumi's, which says a lot. Everything we ordered was a hit for the table. The falafel was perfectly crisp, the za'atar fries were addictive, the pita was warm and fresh, the dill dip was absolutely tasty and the hanger steak and allo pollo were outstanding. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. Service was excellent from start to finish, and even the valet staff was wonderful and welcoming. I've been here twice now and the experience has been consistently great, which is so important. Highly recommend for a night out, group dinner, or anytime you want incredible food and a great overall experience.

1st time here! Saturday lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very attractive. Booths, bar & tables with a warm vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess was very pleasant. Our waiter arrived & gave us his favorites & tour of the menu. We tried the feta cheese roll-ups- delicious with an apricot sauce. They also bring out warm pita, olives & nuts. For my meal I had the falafel app which came with hummus & greens. So delicious. I also tried the rice dish with pistachios, bayberry & citrus. This was so amazing with the flavors. Hubby had the lamb sandwich with fries. It was on ciabatta bread. A great experience overall with great tasting food & wonderful service. Will definitely go back. Great place to try & share apps with friends.

We found ourselves at Chelo. From the moment we arrived, its unique charm was clear. The exterior was eye-catching, but the interior was even more impressive. To fully take in the beautiful dining room, we decided to sit at the bar. With a focus on eating more protein, I chose the hummus. It was a delicious and satisfying choice. For a drink, I challenged the bartender to create a spicy martini, and they absolutely delivered. While I don't recall the name, it had a bold, fiery bite that was unforgettable. The service was amazing. Both the bartender and servers were incredibly sweet and attentive. Although the pita bread was a bit overcooked and dry, the hummus was ok. I decided to try the baklava ice cream sandwich for dessert. This treat was nothing short of amazing--a perfect blend of sweet and savory that I could have eaten all day long! Chelo is a true hidden gem in Roswell. It's the kind of place you might miss if you blink, but it's well worth seeking out for its incredible ambiance, unique cocktails, and truly unforgettable dessert. #ashsaidit

Chelo was a near perfect dining experience and took the top spot as my favorite Persian restaurant in metro Atlanta. We visited for my girlfriend's birthday after she had told me how delicious the food is and it was better than I could have expected. The ambiance is very upscale and nice and the service matched the ambiance perfectly. The food was far and away the best part of the experience though. We had struck out with some average experiences at some of the other Persian restaurants in the Atlanta area, but nothing disappointed. The appetizer of sabzi khordan with fresh, warm flatbread was a great starter to the meal. We also went with the dolma and Chelo dip to try before the entree came out, both of which were delicious. We decided to go with the Chelo sultani for our main with chicken koobideh and sabzi polo. There really wasn't anything to critique as everything tasted delicious at a great price. To finish things off, we got the chocolate cake and some complimentary baklava, both of which were again, delicious. Overall, I can't wait to return to Chelo for another great meal with amazing service and even better food.

Filet barg with beef and rice .. I'll get this again

Great food and great staff. Valet was super nice as well. The Elixir old fashion was tasty. Filet barq and the rice was awesome .. can't wait to go ba

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful space! Perfect date spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is really good. I had the chicken Barge with salad instead of rice. It is a large amount of food. The drinks are really good. I had a cosmo and a glass of champagne. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The champagne glasses are so pretty here and they have a beautiful bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only reason I didn't give a 5 is that it is fairly loud and the tables are super close together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have some booths and seats kind of on the end that would be possibly quieter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had great service overall. I would compare to my favorite place Rumi's type of food. Parking is also difficult. They have a tiny valet lot which was full upon arrival so we parked and walked a pretty long way. Roswell parking should improve with new parking deck opening soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have an outside porch which would be nice if they heated/opened that then spread tables out more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We came here in two occasions, the first visit was phenomenal. However, the second we were 5 adults and 2 babies and we ordered quite a bit of food and it was so good, no complaints! Service was a bit slower this time but it was also 6pm. We were charged gratuity on the bill automatically- which I had confirmed with the manager after how it works and it's for 6 adults or more- our server did not know this which I think is just negligence. I would happily pay for the service I received and normally there are signs or something alarming their customers about this. I just thought that was not appropriate.

I think Chelo is probably great however I feel we went on the wrong day at the wrong time. When we got there we thought it was closed. As everything looked pretty dark and quiet. We decided to try to open the door and realized it was actually open. Only few people were inside dining. Our waiter was ok, not really engaging. Maybe the fact we got there at 2:00pm? Not sure. They were not playing any ambient music. I wonder why. The food was ok. Falafel was a little dry and so was the Koobideh. My lamb kebab was flavorful but a little tough. I like the fact you get your individual rice with tahdig, my shirin polo (rice) was yummy. We will try it again and hopefully add one or two stars.

Chelo was perfect! Valet parking was complimentary, the service was attentive and our server was really sweet, and the food and drinks were so good. We had their Sparkling Berry cocktail (beware, this is large and strong!) and their Desert cocktail (our fav!!). For food, we got their Chelo dip (the jalapeños added something different!), Lamb Koobideh, and Chicken Barg (both tasty), with Sabzi and Shirin Polo (the savory and sweet mix was perfect). We went on a Saturday night, made a res for 4:30 since there were none available otherwise but it was pretty quiet until around 5:30.

We mostly came out to drink and I enjoyed all of the cocktails. Especially the Desert and Souffle. We did order a bit of food and everything tasted very good. The people working here are friendly and do a good job checking in.

Came here with friends while I was visiting Atlanta and had a great meal! The space is really cute with moody lighting and lots of greenery. Our server was prompt and efficient. We started with an order of dolma which were very tasty. We also got the baba ganoush and Chelo dip, both of which were very tasty and the bread served with it was pillowy and warm. For my entree, I got the chicken sultani with the beef koobideh and the baghali polo ( the one with dill and fava beans). I absolutely loved it and I'm still dreaming about the dill rice. Highly recommend!

I know most locals go to Rumi's for their Persian food, business dinners etc but I travel to the area monthly and I stumbled upon this gem in Roswell and will definitely be my new go-to for Persian food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quaint, classy and outstanding food, tucked away in a little nook off of the Main St of Roswell.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful interior, but the food did it for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was spot-on delicious, fresh, flavorful- will be back next trip!

We decided to try a number of different Spain inspired high quality tapas. The tortilla Española was a classic take on a traditional favorite. The Albondigas were my favorite and even better than the ones I've had in Madrid. For a small charge, they include bread that is paired perfectly with the savory tomato sauce accompanying the meatballs. The dining area feels intimate and artistic, and they also offer patio seating, which is perfect as we approach southern summer nights. If you're looking for wine pairing to accompany your tapas, they offer an extensive list of wines from Spain, as well as parts of South America. We will definitely return and bring our family next time, and we would highly recommend you try Silla del Toro in Roswell. Salud

I didn't really get much and I think I just got some French fries and bought something but I wanted to see what the layout looked like. So this spot does get a little crowded depending on when you go. They do have parking but it's very scarce in the front and they have valet in the back. Just be aware that on a Saturday night you may have to work parking out somehow. Now they had some drink specials posted everywhere. This was actually a good spot to check that out because they have a lot of variation of it. You can see a couple of those in my pictures. The last time I was there they had live music so let me just back up for a little bit. They actually have a stage area where you may go and see some live entertainment and a crowd around them. What's nice is the stage part has its own bar so you don't have to keep running in and out of the food hall to get drinks. They have an outside play area for kids and it's kind of like a green turf situation so you can sit down and let them play. They have seats there and they have seats outside on a covered patio area as well so there are options for seating. Of course they're sitting on the inside and the seats there are not available. They are decent even if you don't count the bar itself. The bar is a pretty long bar so there's plenty of space to sit there. It has a lot of liquor options and it has a couple of TVs so you can actually watch a game or something along those lines. Overall if you're going to head to downtown Roswell, this will be a pretty decent spot to grab a bite to eat because there are a lot of options there. They have Italian, Mexican, cheese steaks, and other things that you can pick from. I do plan on actually going and trying all the things at some point in time but I just did an initial walkthrough. But this does look like it's worth my time to go back.

This is a conglomerate of restaurants on a food court style venue with an open bar as a centerpiece, and then to throw in something for the kids too, an arcade and out door play. Some of the vendors have self serve electronic menus with integrated point of service platforms to help avoid lines. We had a mix of BBQ, Sushi and Tacos then had a couple of the beers from the tap at the bar---and hey - they even have their own RWJ IPA crafted by Maui Brewery - which is kind of insane. Our little one immediately found a few friends to play with while mom and dad enjoyed a meal and drink while taking in the scenery. It wasn't a busy night. Parking: there were no more spot but they also have valet. We decided to park our car a 1/4 mile away and walk in, which was ok. I can see coming here again. It was a fun place to grab a bite.
