Bosnian Goulash
Belle V.

Our first time trying this place, based on reviews, we expected so much, but it was a disappointment. It was recognized as the best grill in Tucson in 2018 and featured on Guy Fieri's show. But that was years ago. As we walked in, the restaurant, compared to other places we've been, lacked visual stimulation. The place was dull; the décor, tables, and chairs were very basic. Only one server worked the floor, and he even forgot our order. His excuse was that he wrote it on a different piece of paper. The food was okay, but there was no "wow" factor.

We got the chef's surprise here for 3 - it was essentially a giant meat platter with chicken breast, pork and beef sausages, gyro, and skewers over 3 different types of rice, broccoli with cheese, and salad. It was a lot of food and we had enough leftovers for several meals afterwards. All the meats were slightly on the saltier side; the chicken was kinda dry, but the gyro and skewer tasted pretty good.

Dishes were obviously being prepared by mom and dad in the back. Everything was fresh and made well! Cabbage salad was my favorite. Great homemade bread.

Arrived and sat by the windows. By the time I left this place was full.

Food is amazing. Staff cares and you can see it. Triple D got it right. Thank you for being true to your reputation.

Mixed Grill for 4

Great little place in an unexpected location. Casual and fragrant atmosphere. This restaurant is BYOB, so bring your favorite wine to enjoy and the restaurant will supply the glasses. We ordered the mixed grill for 4 and brought home days worth of leftovers! Service is friendly and the food is savory, hearty and definitely tastes homemade. We will definitely return, to try more menu items.

Pictures of Guy Fieri and Chef Alisah in the restaurant and a great selection of Milka chocolates which are hard to find in the U.S.

Saw this place on Guy Fieri's DDD and I happened to be in Tucson so I had to try it. Fast service even though it is all cooked to order. Chef Alisah cooks everything. He was very nice. I was disappointed he was out of goulash though. I had the surprise platter. It was enormous, but it should be for $75. Divide that by the 4 people it serves and it's a good value for the quality of food.

I'm not familiar with Bosnian food, but it was a good experience. The restaurant is small and pretty modest. It's tucked away in a low key multiple story building that feels more like an office complex. My friend and I got the mixed grill for two and it allowed us to try a few different items. The portions were generous. The service was nice and polite. Definitely check this place out.

Cevapi - 10 sausages, and homemade bread

It took me 15 years of living in Tucson to finally give this place a try. After one meal, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. First and foremost, the food was delicious. Between the Cevapi, Chicken Schnitzel, and bread, it really felt like I was eating a home prepared meal that was one of a kind. The purple paint on the walls and table setting...not super appealing. But, who am I kidding? If you're going here for a meal, it's for the food, and you will not be disappointed.

We've been coming here for many years since they were in their old location. Noplace else in town does presentation like Wild Garlic. The dishes are always stunning. If you want to impress someone, this is the place to take them. They seem like they are protein focused due to their emphasis on quality steaks and seafood, but the plates have a wide variety of vegetables to accompany the protein. Root vegetables, asparagus, and the sauces really make the meal. It's not like going to a steakhouse where you get a lonely slab of meat - here you get a well-rounded plate. Our server was wonderful - so pleasant, and did a great job of memorizing the specials, because they always are extensive. We don't come here as often as we should - we really love the place.

Her choice was to sit on the large covered comfortable north side patio which includes upholstered bench seating along with tables all cool & comfortable. The large indoor dining room & patio were scattered with a few couples very quiet . She chose the Chilean sea bass that she raved about and with large portions took half home. I started with a bowl of mushroom soup which was wildly enjoyable . Then from the lunch menu chose the beef tips on risotto surrounded by a melange of fresh vegetables . ( also took half home told known for very large portions) . The atmosphere seems like big city with the black & white tiled paths throughout & filled with paintings & sculpture's inside & out. The service was very attentive as expected . There are several large chalkboards filled with specials ! My only mistake was when our server asked if I wanted to hear the specials it seemed like a 5-7 minute oration of so many detailed specials but most impressive her being able to memorize & recite it all! Located SW of sunrise / Ina / n Campbell ave smaller upscale mall with large gold dome on top . Plenty of parking surrounds. I read the mixed Yelp & Yelp elite reviews before arriving , but so enjoyed the great beef tips lunch I would definitely return although I'm not a big city 5 star $$$ guy although. I'm waiting for the valet parking Costco membership to arrive ! Jk Try WGG for yourself I found if quite satisfying.

This beautiful restaurant is inside a building that opens into a small plaza where people can dine outdoors if they like. Its romantic but not arrogant and a very down to earth place. I have been here several times and this last time I was here, I came over after a sunset hike at Tumomac Hills. I sat at the bar and had a nice bartender take care of me. I had a PJ Margarita which was thirst quenching and refreshing after a hardy hike. I ordered the turnip salad and a side of frites. My turnip salad arrived and I gobbled up the goodness that can only happen with fresh veggies prepared this way and then waited for the frites. I got tired of waiting for the frites so asked the bartender to close me out. He asked if I wanted them to go and I said no. I should have better communicated that I wanted my salad and fries to arrive at the same time. Oh well, my mistake, no big deal. Bartender was very nice about it, took off the fries and also gave me 20% off HH pricing for my drink and salad. Overall, a good experience here, love the decor, and the pendant lighting at the bar is what drew me in initially. I'd definitely come back again when in Tucson. A mature and laid back place that still has style and class.

We sat near the kitchen, but the chefs were so quiet while they were working, you wouldn't realize it other than to look at the beautiful style. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Not greasy, perfectly cooked. Would definitely get that again. The others at the table said theirs was great as well. We had several different starters and all were very good. Service was great. We were in no rush and we in no way felt hurried along. But if there was anything we needed, we didn't have to go in search of someone to help. Definitely enjoyed our time there.
