What is was supposed to look like.

Menu pages had to be pulled apart-unclean. Awful food. Chicken cooked beyond recognition. Cooked in a pan not grilled. No garlic herb butter sauce to be found. Everything else? Ice cold. Potato, broccoli, rice. Which is a food inspection violation. Where is the manager? Shut this place down.

We ordered the chicken tenders and chicken fried steak and they were both delicious. The waitress was great and made suggestions that paired well with our food. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained. We really enjoy going to this location.

Reliable comfort goodness is here to be found. They were very busy but the server was attentive and efficient. The bacon cheeseburger & fries & appetizer trio of queso & chips, cheese curds, & chicken strips (for our 7 yr old) was perfect after a long day checking out the local sites. Casual atmosphere with fun vibes. It's one of our preferred chains.

Good place to stop and eat with the family, or to have larger gatherings (8-10 people) for a meal and camaraderie. The restaurant is clean, has good service, and is in a good location off the highway. The food is OK. The fish was a bit dry, and the green beans were severely salty - I love salt, but this was an extreme. The salads were good and the tomatoes were fresh - tasty ranch dressing.

Came to have lunch with my sister. It was alright. Our server wasn't very attentive unless I caught her attention. Her name was Jade. For an appetizer, we got the queso with beef. When she brought it out it didn't have the beef and she mentioned she didn't hear me ask for it. May be because as I was talking to her she started walking off before I was done talking. The dip came out hot and was good but not ggreat. Ordered the blackened salmon with side caesar and brocolli casserole. The salmon came out normal not blackened and was also a little over cooked. The dressing for the caesar side was alright. Not the best but not the worst. When I eventually got the brocolli casserole it was cold. Once she got other tables, we had to flag her down to get her attention. She would keep walking by our table and not ask if we needed anything. We needed to go boxes, to go drinks, and the check. She said it was on the computer on the table which it wasn't. Asked for just the print out check and she brought me a computer for the table to do everything. In which the gift card I had would not work on it. Had to get up and take the gift card to her to get it taken off my bill. I wasn't totally thrilled about the experience. Server could have been better but you never know what someone may be going through. Maybe she was just having an off day.

Waiter was nice to say the least. My el patron I had to send back. It tasted pre mixed and it was not patron. Appetizers were good. My son enjoyed his chicken sandwich. My fish dish was just ok. Nothing to brag on.

Thank you at Lake Worth Cheddar's for setting the missing man table on this Memorial Day.

From the second you walk in, it just feels homey--like everyone knows each other and you're instantly part of it. Nothing fancy, just good people and really good food. The gravy? Honestly some of the best I've ever had. Super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor. You can tell it's homemade, not from a mix. I was literally making sure I didn't leave a drop on the plate. The Texas scramble was SO good--big portions, packed with eggs, bacon, sausage, and smothered in that gravy. Total comfort food. And the chicken fried steak... wow. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely covered in that same amazing gravy. It's one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. Also have to mention the biscuits--soft, buttery, and perfect for soaking everything up. If you're anywhere nearby, you need to stop here. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to.

Everyone is right - the cinnamon rolls are stand out. They are huge and honestly eating one and drinking coffee would suffice for breakfast in and of itself. I ordered the pancake buffet - which was way too much food. It came with eggs, protein, hash browns and blueberry pancake. It allowed me to have some leftovers through! Service was friendly, atmosphere was very nostalgic, and you pay at the front. Plenty of parking because it's located right by Albertsons.

Finallllllly! A soul food vegan eatery with mush mush flavor!…read more So, hubbs and I were hungry and decided to give Mush Flavor a try. Boy aren't I glad we did. For more details see below. The location: this location is a part of a ghost kitchen. It is located in the corner of a small parking lot. You'll see plenty of food delivery signs above a building...that's the building you want to order from. The interior was just a box room, with a couple of chairs and an Ipad to order from. The service: so, apparently there's normally a receptionist or a welcomer who greets you, but there was noone there the day that we visited. It left us kind of guessing. However, two of the owners came out and made sure they checked in on customers to make sure everyone was taken care of. That was nice. They kept up updated on our order and what was going on in the kitchen. I appreciated that service and updates. The food: the food was goodt! Okay, so the mac n cheese was good. So, I'm not a cheese person. However, their Mac n cheese could've have used some more cheese. Now the actually macaroni was cooked to perfection though. The macaroni really good. The overall, mac n cheese just could've have had a little bit more flavor/cheese. The chicken! OMG the chicken was everything. It had a very bold flavor of spices. The chicken was crispy enough, but not too crispy. It wasn't mushy but was firm. I wish I would've mixed my macaroni n cheese and my chicken together. However that chicken was gobbled up so fast. Overall, I wish the ghost kitchen was a little more welcoming. However the flavor was delicious and I'd definitely be back to try more menu items.

So this place is a compilation of restaurants in one space that you can't see. There's just a receptionist desk to receive your order. It takes the personal aspect away it feels cold and soulless to just not talk to anyone but I guess that's the way the world is going. Some of the business owners did peek their heads out and greet us and they were nice but then went back to prepping and cooking their orders. There's no music or entertainment or anything just a waiting room with nothing in it but a bathroom. I get it you get the benefit of starting a restaurant without being in your house you have a nice clean place to cook and serve orders and your overhead is extremely low. It's a great start to businesses but it's very impersonal. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of Mac and cheese. I feel like this meal should not have been 30 bucks especially with the money that's saved from not having a stand alone restaurant with employees like cooks, hostess, bus boys and managers. My chicken was really good the seasoning was on point and delicious. The waffle was soggy and soft but I think a lot of people like their waffle that way I prefer a crispy waffle. I'm sure they could easily make it that way but you can't freaking talk to anyone to communicate that request, so you get whatever the computer tells you you can get. The Mac and cheese was ok it could have been cheesier and more creamy I added some non vegan ingredients to get it the way I like it but I have cooked vegan Mac and cheese dishes that had more of a consistency of vegan cheese and noodles. It's good has potential it just needs more love. It wasn't worth 5 bucks though since I had to add to it. So to be honest my 4 stars come from the fact that this is a good business with friendly service. It has great potential and I want to see them succeed since it's a BOB. As a whole I am not a fan of this order from an iPad then wait for your food and not talk to anyone concept. The concept gets 2 stars because it sucks.

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.

They are located on a corner and parking is limited. I found street parking on the side street, about a block down in front of a house. We walked inside Gus's about 11:30 am on a Wednesday. They were busy' but had a number of open tables. There are mostly square and rectangular 4-top tables. We chose one by the front windows. A moment after we sat down, our server, Joe K came by to greet us and he took our drink order. Menu's are at the table, so we studied a bit and were ready for Joe when he brought our drinks. I ordered: - Unsweetened Iced Tea - 3 Piece Dark Chicken Plate (my choice: leg, leg, thigh) with Greens and BBQ Beans My wife ordered: 2 Piece White Chicken Plate (breast, wing) with Mac-Cheese and BBQ Beans The chicken was the star for sure. The BBQ Beans weren't special but were decent. The Greens, decent. With each meal plate, the chicken is served on a slice of white bread. The chicken was fried to a deep brown and was real tasty. My dark meat was juicy and tender. My wife's white meat was drier but normal for white meat. My wife's felt the chicken skin was maybe overcooked as it was tough. It was fine to me. I ate her skin :) We'll be back to Gus's!

I imagined slow cooked pork chops in a brown gravy, with onions and bell peppers. What arrived was slop. Fried porked chops smothered (drenched) in a super thick dark "jar" gravy with grilled onions and bell peppers. It was horrible in preparation and taste. The Mac in cheese was cooked to mush. We came here a month ago and learned that the restaurant was closed for a huge party. In fact all their locations were closed for a huge party.
