We come here randomly when we're dropping off or picking up our toddler with her grandmother and it's always been a good experience. Service is usually good and the food always comes out quick! The restaurant itself has a good amount of seating and a perfect volume level to enjoy lunch / dinner and be able to still have a conversation with your partner/ group. Even with a bus load of college students having lunch here today, it was not noisy at all and the staff was able to get their tables cleared up pretty quickly after the group left. We had such a great experience here. We came after Church service with our friends and it was amazing. The food was good, it came out fast and the manager Lakota along with her team were so helpful. My daughter spilled water twice and they were very gracious and helped us clean up. They even allowed us to pray for some of the workers. We had an exquisite time. The sandwich didn't have the jalapeño chips on it like it was supposed to, so I asked for some. The potato soup literally had three little shreds of cheese on top lol, so I asked for more cheese. Overall this experience was good. Asked for my orange cranberry club sandwich hot and could tell that it had been, but sat there for a little because it wasnt hot to the touch anymore. Mac and cheese was good. Finally put more in there dish. Felt more like a proper portions as a side dish for there meals. We have passed by this restaurant on many occasions and finally were able to stop in. Now it was a super cold day in Fort Worth, TX, including some rare snow flurries, and the restaurant was a little bit cold: but then again it was cold everywhere that day. Not knowing what to get, I went ahead and got the super spud & potato salad; yeah I know carbs on carbs and carbs, and my husband loves to try Rubens wherever we go. He said the Reuben was good, the meat was tasty, the cheese was ample, the bread was warm and toasty, and it's only comment as he thought their dressing was a little thin. I think that's a good review. My potato was excellent! It had three different types of cold cut meat on it, black olives, chives, cheese, lots of cheese, and it also came with two pads of butter and sour cream. I want to note at that the sour cream was of a good quality and not that thin liquidy stuff you get some places. My family comes here almost weekly. My kids love the $1 kids meals and they have the best gluten free bread for their sandwiches. Jessica has the best attitude and really makes you feel welcome. I ordered from the Lake Worth location for the first time, and I experienced this. The potato is overcooked burned around the edges, dried out and they threw on top that wasn't cooked. And it was cut HORIZONTAL. Who cuts a potatoe HORIZONTAL. I called the manager and he was NOT accommodating at all. All he said was that he apologized and he didn't cook it. They have a variety of all different kinds sandwiches and salads that it took me a while to decide on what to get. For my order I didn't want to get anything too heavy so I just stuck with a half of BLT and got a side of chicken salad. I know what I ordered is super basic but I enjoyed it bc it was so heavy. Thanks to the company to be concerned about my visit 7 months ago, I was given an incentive to give the restaurant another try. First of all, even with the incentive to try them again on them, it has taken me 7 months to return because I was apprehensive about returning. But I did today. I decided to try something different on this visit and that was the New Yorker sandwich which consist of pastrami and corned beef. As you can tell from the attached pics it was freshly made with dripping cheese and it was still hot even after getting the meal to go. I also got a side of broccoli that was freshly prepared and juicy as well and still hot. It had the right amount of salt which most restaurant seem to miss but Mcalister Deli got it right! The drink was strong to be a fountain drink. Then I topped this meal off with a oatmeal cookie. I've never order one from here before. It was freshly made as well. Walnuts tasted toasted and fresh and the key here that other restaurants get it wrong is it didn't have a over powering taste of cinnamon. They got it all right!!! UPDATE- McAlisters provided us an opportunity to revisit and the food was much better. Thank you! Although the food was delicious and presented well at the McAlisters listed below, the location and facilities were nasty and to top it off my husband found a hair in his potato salad AFTER he finished it (disgusting). If it would have been a lunchtime or dinner rush I would understand how food and trash had not yet been cleaned off the floor but when we arrived at 4:30pm there were no other customers in the store and the cashier and manager were sitting around. By the time we left, neither had cleaned up the mess he obviously had to step over to bring us our food and the only thing I heard from the manager was her complaining she had worked 75 hours this week before she got up from a table she was sitting at to leave the store. There were also other tables with plates and cups from previous customers on the table STILL by the time we left. The cashier was extremely nice but the manager was noticeably lacking actually managing the employees and the store. Very disappointed and grossed out. I came in today for the first time with my fellow co-workers. Service was ok, but considering they are new and it was lunch time, it wasn't too bad. The ordering process was a little bumpy for a first-timer like myself. Basically if you're dining in, you place your order at the counter and pay for it there, they give you a number card, you seat yourself and place the number card in the holder at that table, and a server will find you and bring you your food. I can't say much on if you're wanting to get your food to-go because the lady that was trying to do so was not happy about the process! As far as the food, it was really good. My salad was HUGE and fresh tasting. My co-workers had different sandwiches and all of them looked really good. We'll definitely add this to our lunch rotation. read more

Love McAlister's food and the people that work here are nice BUT every time I order lunch to go it's always at least 30 minutes behind and/or missing items. I end up waiting inside and missing my lunch break. If they are so backed up at lunch they need to alter/block their available pick up times!! If someone selects 11:45 pickup and it's not ready until 12:30 that's a huge problem. read more

I ate here with my sister-in-law last night. As McAllister's go, it was pretty standard. The teenagers behind the counter were eager to take our orders and very friendly. Everything looked clean and our food was made correctly. My Ruben was a little soggy but it was delicious as was my salad. I do really wish the McAllister's would bring back the old veggie spud as that was my favorite and the new one has been ruined. This isn't the fault of this particular location however. read more

The food is good, but the value of first impressions can ultimately make or break a business and determines customer loyalty. Ensuring a positive consumer experience makes people come back whether you have an amazing product or a subpar one. Customers like to feel valued where they are spending their hard earned money. Greeting all guests, making eye contact, offering a warm smile, full attention being given to that particular client at the time of service are all positive behaviors that dazzle your customers. Unfortunately, this location needs a lot of improvement on these basic yet powerful actions. I did recognize a lot of young staff, but the fact that the entire front line refused to make eye contact and engage with their guest that have yet to be helped out put a sour taste in my mouth. One particular blonde cashier spent more than ten minutes chatting with an elder guest that honestly looked like she was related to her. Maybe this was her grandmother visiting her at work, but there were three guest waiting around to be helped. I was disappointed by my visit to this location because of the poor customer service and urge management to retrain their staff. read more

I have had three instances in the last two weeks where I have needed catering in a short amount of time and they have done an excellent job--and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I appreciate the outstanding customer service and the genuine care that has been shown to me from the moment I walk in the door. I believe they go above and beyond to make sure the food and service is the best it can be. This place is clean and quiet on a Friday night allowing for time for a nice conversation. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and offers sharables for under 8 bucks. That seems to consist of half sandwiches and soups etc. And is located in the shopping center with Kohl's you will see the Lake Worth water tower behind the strip mall. Update: McAlister's gave me the opportunity to return, which was greatly appreciated. However, I'm an utterly disappointed as nothing has changed. In fact, for this particular visit I noticed that despite there being very few customers they were still very slow to bring out food. I also noticed that as the pace begin to pick up, that there was still only one cashier ringing up orders and I could see the frustration. Sadly, this exact situation has happened to me. I must be coming at the wrong time as the floors and tables are a constant disaster making the seating very limited. I told myself I would not give them a second chance, and I went against my better judgment. Nothing has changed, and I believe nothing will change. There are too many other food establishments around to continue to disappoint myself as well as my family by coming this place. The food and service at this particular McAlister's is just not up to par with others that I have been to. Management is awful, especially the lady that was working June 3rd around 8p.m. She is borderline rude, and she's really only enthusiastic with regular customers or people she knows. As my family and I ordered our food and sat down ( almost walking out due her less than excited demeanor) we noticed that a regular or maybe even a friend of her walked and her whole attitude changed. This location is constantly filthy, trash on the tables as well as the floors. We had to search for a clean table that was properly wiped down. The food takes forever to come out even when there is little to no people there. When mcalisters first opened I was excited because I love their tea.
