Pulled pork with Mac pickles galore and potato salad
    Deb S.

Just added pictures from our return to Spring Creek! A great favorite now for all things Barbeque love the service ! Snd welcoming low key family ambiance

Buyer Beware WEIGH your meat by the pound orders!! Ordered/Paid for 1.5lbs of sliced beef & upon opening, it looked very short. I pulled out my digital kitchen scales & only received 14.8oz, thats less than 1lb. Cost me $48 for a pound of sliced beef plus delivery & tip! To top it off it was the leanest driest meat Ive ever recived. UNACCEPTABLE!!

The food was great i got pulled pork. My husband shown here got the ribs and brisket which he said was delicious and tender. Service was great! Shoutout to James who was on top of refills for us and super helpful! Also the bread girl was on point. We even got free ice cream! Get the banana pudding too it's so fluffy and delicious.

Take home is never a let down! We all love Spring Creek!

Two words ADDISON and Annette! On top of everything! We feed the 92 year old Daddy twice a month and they never miss a beat. So sweet and caring a real welcoming Texas experience. Seriously the food is always as good as the service! Until next time. Cheers!

Food was great! Smoked turkey was so tender and juicy. The pecan cobbler and ice cream were amazing. The fresh rolls coming around were a nice touch too. The service was okay. The men working the meat cutting area were both nice but everyone else was a bit rude. I didn't like how it was set up, it made it hard to get go back into line to get a refill on drinks.

These are the portions we got for 21.00 each.

Spoke to David the manager about the small sizes of food for large prices. Also cold food. He could care less don't recommend this place at all the one in Lakeworth

3-Meat Combination (Sliced Brisket, St Louis Ribs, Carolina Style Pulled Pork, Barbeque Pinto Beans)
    Cindy H.

Having heard a lot about Spring Creek Barbeque, I decided to try it out so I ordered some barbeque through DoorDash. Sad to say, the hype wasn't there. I ordered the 3-Meat Combination, and it didn't meet my expectations, similar to a lot of hyped things and places. The plate consisted of: (4-5) Sliced Brisket (2) St Louis Ribs Carolina Style Pulled Pork (2) Barbeque Pinto Beans (2) Rolls Alone, the Sliced Brisket was fairly salty, but when dipped in BBQ, it was a good combination. The Sliced Brisket had the perfect ratio of fats to meats. It had just enough fat to make it moist yet a good amount of meat to make it filling. The St Louis Ribs were probably the best meat out of the 3-Meat Combination. As soon as you take a bite out of the St Louis Ribs, the meat would literally fall off of it -- the meat was tender. My only complaint about this is the number of ribs you receive. I wish it was seasoned a bit more, but it is fine as is. The Carolina Style Pulled Pork was not that special, so I'll leave it at that. The Barbeque Pinto Beans were delicious and plentiful. The BBQ wasn't overwhelming -- rather, it was fairly light. The beans were cooked to perfection. The rolls weren't overwhelmingly sweet or heavy -- it was neither too dry nor too oily. It tasted fairly similar to any other rolls you would receive at a restaurant that serves barbeque. Spring Creek Barbeque definitely didn't meet my expectations, but if you were to visit this particular location, I would definitely recommend their St Louis Ribs and Barbeque Pinto Beans.

"Sabar BBQ: Where the lamb ribs made me want to high five a stranger."…read more TL;DR: Get there early, order the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, let Zain carve you a plate of happiness, and prepare to have your taste buds do a Texas two-step with Pakistani spices. Worth every minute of the wait. This one's climbing my top 50 list faster than a brisket disappears at a family reunion. After one failed mission to Sabar BBQ, where I showed up too late and found an empty pit (and an emptier stomach), I came back like a man on a barbecue pilgrimage. The sun was blazing, the line was growing, and I wasn't about to be left holding nothing but a napkin this time. Pitmaster Zain Shafi runs this blue trailer like a flavor command center. The smell hit me halfway through the line and had me grinning like a kid at the state fair. I made my move when it was my turn, and if you know me, you know lamb is my kryptonite. I ordered the Sichuan Lamb Ribs, then couldn't stop myself from adding brisket and Tandoori Turkey. The sides? Kachumber Salad and Daal Chawaal, because even Uncle Sean needs balance in life. Zain loaded everything up, tossed it all on top of some naan for good measure, and sent me to my table like a champion headed to the winner's circle. The first bite of lamb ribs nearly had me proposing to the pit. Spicy, tender, smoky perfection with a bark that made my heart sing. The brisket was rich and juicy, the turkey came with that tandoori kick that slapped me awake in the best way possible. The sauces just tied the whole thing together like a big barbecue hug. The yogurt mint cilantro sauce was made to cool and lift the brisket and turkey to a whole new level. The red sauce packed a punch and paired with the lamb like it was born for the job. I boxed up some leftovers for my wife, the Side Dish Queen herself, because a man who doesn't bring home naan from Sabar BBQ is a man sleeping on the couch. She confirmed what I already knew: this was next-level barbecue, the kind that earns legends and long lines. Sabar BBQ is only open on weekends, and only fools show up late. I won't make that mistake again. This was stop number 15 on my Texas Monthly Top 50 journey, leaving me with 35 more glorious BBQ pilgrimages ahead before the passport is full and my belt officially waves the white flag. If loving these lamb ribs is wrong, I don't wanna be rib-right.

With a bit more seasoning and flavor, the sides could be the hit of the location, and this I think will come with time and practice. Tried the greens (little bland, but wonderful texture), Mac and Cheese (actually seasoning was spot on), and beans (with meat...meh). The greens and MC were the hits for sure. Brisket was on the dry side, maybe overcooked, and could have used some better trimming before cooking I think. Did not try sausages or chicken, but both looked appetizing. They are still dialing in their pits is my guess, and expect cook quality to improve with a time. Quality of meat may also be worth considering. Overal, Brown's is definitely worth a visit, and as they find their groove they could be a contender. Right now would put them at a fair 3.5 stars, but the energy, great attitude (smiles means repeat business), and great beginnings is worthy of 4 stars even now, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood!
