Buyer Beware WEIGH your meat by the pound orders!! Ordered/Paid for 1.5lbs of sliced beef & upon opening, it looked very short. Now when we call Spring Creek to order our to go food, it sends us to a online site to order where there is no option to order Extra lean BBQ. We hope you will make that order process online better. Stopped in for my brothers birthday part. We had a decent sized group of peopl, and of course no one thought to call about the party room. Even we didn't call and schedule it everyone at this location did everything in their power to accommodate us AND ensure we had a good time. the food was excellent as always. My husband and I decided to give SCB a try since neither of us had ever been. We got there about 15 mins early so we waited in the parking lot. At about 3 mins to 11 people started heading towards the door. We giggled because people were actually fast walking to get in this place. Well, after our experience now we know why! Having heard a lot about Spring Creek Barbeque, I decided to try it out so I ordered some barbeque through DoorDash. Sad to say, the hype wasn't there. I ordered the 3-Meat Combination, and it didn't meet my expectations, similar to a lot of hyped things and places. The plate consisted of: (4-5) Sliced Brisket (2) St Louis Ribs Carolina Style Pulled Pork (2) Barbeque Pinto Beans (2) Rolls Alone, the Sliced Brisket was fairly salty, but when dipped in BBQ, it was a good combination. The Sliced Brisket had the perfect ratio of fats to meats. It had just enough fat to make it moist yet a good amount of meat to make it filling. The St Louis Ribs were probably the best meat out of the 3-Meat Combination. As soon as you take a bite out of the St Louis Ribs, the meat would literally fall off of it -- the meat was tender. My only complaint about this is the number of ribs you receive. I wish it was seasoned a bit more, but it is fine as is. The Carolina Style Pulled Pork was not that special, so I'll leave it at that. The Barbeque Pinto Beans were delicious and plentiful. The BBQ wasn't overwhelming -- rather, it was fairly light. The beans were cooked to perfection. The rolls weren't overwhelmingly sweet or heavy -- it was neither too dry nor too oily. It tasted fairly similar to any other rolls you would receive at a restaurant that serves barbeque. Spring Creek Barbeque definitely didn't meet my expectations, but if you were to visit this particular location, I would definitely recommend their St Louis Ribs and Barbeque Pinto Beans. read more

As a self proclaimed Spring Creek "Pro" here is what I get: The original ribs (St Louis style) ribs. - It comes with sides or a baked potato... I ALWAYS get the potato "all the way" (with everything). - I ask for extra sauce so I can dip my bread in it. - I grab pickle spears and onions. - Their pies are also really good - Save room for the blue bell ice cream dessert! Pro tip: wait to eat your roll they give you. There is a bread girl that comes around. She will bring you VERY Fresh baked bread (it's really hot so watch out). Anything she has leftover, they bring behind the counter to hand out with the meals when you order. They have the BEST barbecue sauce. I live in La now so when I come back in town I buy extra. It's sweet but tangy, and no one makes better sauce. Also, they have a side room (that's closed off) for private events like birthdays, meetups, family dinners. read more

Do you know those restaurants you go to over and over again and they're always really good? Spring Creek is one of those. They have multiple locations in the Dallas area that seem to be within my path four or maybe five times per year. I usually have a place to park my semi nearby, and when I walk into the restaurant, the glorious, smoky, meaty, yummy-as-heck smell is always there to greet me. I really love these restaurants. The staff is always friendly and courteous and polite and the food is spot on. Just another reason why I love driving through Texas. Way to go spring Creek! read more

I walked inside and there was a line. I told them I called in order added pudding also. Paid for order and it wasn't ready. Others in front of me were getting their orders ..where was mine. I asked manager? Where my order was and she went to check...she never got back to me to tell me ..i stopped a friendly cashier. Who checked and said they are working on it. After waiting an additional twenty minutes and seeing others that had not been waiting as long as I had receive their orders. I went up asked for a refund. I love the food and the other times I received good service. After this though dealing with the unapologetic manager I will not be back. I love the food here. The real draw is hot yeast rolls that are brought around in a basket. I like the St Louis ribs and the brisket, but all the meat is good. Someone comes around to ask if everything is ok. We had a slight issue tonight. The person at the register was lazy. 6 of us had BOGO coupons, so we paired up. Some used cash. So my friend and I told her to split it down the middle. My friend paid more than half, I paid less. I asked why. My friends ahead of me had a similar issue. The girl said nothing, she had someone else take over the register. It wasn't much money, but thats not the point. She told us our totals then entered the money another way. I think a training session is in order. Also, the bathroom is hideously dirty. The commodes need a proper cleaning. If this wasn't taught at home, YouTube videos abound. We will return. YIKES!! Chopped Beef is VERY SPICY!! Not suitable for children, at all. I purchased a pound of beef & 1/2 pound of sausage with Beens & Rolls. I brought it home for the family, no one could finish the sandwiches because they were so spicy. It's almost like pepper was spilled in the beef, I don't see how this is the recipe that Spring Creek stands for. Idk I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND unless you want VERY HOT SPICY MEAT. I'd say it's similar to flaming hot Cheetos on a Hot Scale. The bread rolls were also hard. In the past I've got rolls and they were to die for. I guess Spring Creek is just not consistent with the way the food is made. **So just take Caution. read more

Our office orders lunch to go from here often. The gentleman who takes the phone orders is always very friendly and patient (there's 8 of us). The order always come just as we specify which is always great when you have a limited timeframe for lunch. There are occasions where we dine in and we've never had any issues as far as food quality or customer service. It's cafeteria style where you grab a tray, tell the guy which meat you want, self serve your sides and drink, pay at the end of the line, and seat yourself. A lady usually walks by every now and then to offer a hot, yummy roll. I like that you can specify which cut you like when it comes to their brisket. For me, its marble always! I will say, I'm not too fond of the man who carves the meats. It's always the same man. He's not outright rude but he's far from friendly. He seems to get annoyed if you ask questions or are indecisive. Smile, man! :-D It's not the greatest BBQ by Texas standards but it's far from "disgusting". The meats have a nice smokey flavor, ribs are tender and fall off the bone, sides are all tasty. It's a great BBQ establishment to have in the Lake Worth area. read more

Our experience started out promising but quickly declined. We arrived at 8pm and the restaurant closed at 9 which we were aware of but never expected to be rushed out prior to 9. The service was great when we arrived and a little after 8:30pm we wanted some cobbler and were advised by the first person that their "terminals were down" aka they had closed their registers for the night and wouldn't be able to even check us out for the cobbler. Just 5 minutes later we were advised by yet another employee that the "terminals were down and we could not order anything else." Feeling rushed we left at 8:40pm and the doors were locked behind us. Our SS class had the Valentines banquet here tonight. There were about sixty people attending. Their set up is similar to a cafeteria line and I will say that they did a great job serving us. The food was hot and fresh. I had the sausage. It was very good. I also had Mac n Chs and cold slaw for my sides. If you've ever been to Spring Creek then you know about the mini bread loafs they bring to the table. Oh my!! Tonight they were hot, fresh and delish. First off We Come here all the time and always spend over $60+ For over 10 years! This evening we orders 2(2 meat plates with Chopped beef) and a child's chop beef plate. Didn't realize you have to ask for buns and when I did, I was charged almost $10 (for buns!!) When I inquired that I just spent a decent amount, why wouldn't it be complimentary? They acted like I was asking for a pound of ribs instead for free... The manager was about to give them to me but the employee told him my meal doesn't come with and I would have to pay. This meal was ToGo, I tipped online, and to not be treated decent for bread is beyond me! I won't be returning because of the principal. Hire better people with better attitudes!
