My husband and I came here & first thing was we weren't even greeted with a hello or a smile. The lady who took our order looked like she either hated her job or did not want to serve us. The menu looked incredible as they had a variety of food items and deserts and unfortunately our food was mid. I'd be happy to give their food another try, but for sure will be ordering over phone for pick up because their ambiance is hostile and the girl with pink hair made us feel unwanted. I see others have similar experiences to mine and I hope the owner makes an effort to address customer service and hospitality to their employees!! read more

I can agree maybe jumping to race might've been cliche however, similar to my situation there are several reviews ironically similar amongst the same group of people. You really taste the fact that everything is made in-house. Customer service has always been great. It's nice that all employees are well versed on the many dishes, so they can help you with making your selection if needed. If you're in a hurry, there are plenty of grab'n go meals to choose from, as well as desserts, granola bars, etc. They also offer some all day breakfast options and smoothies. It's going to take me a long time to try everything here :-D The interior reminds me of my Austin days - homey, comfy, non-pretentious. Tried this place for lunch today. I like the vibe and they don't skimp on ingredients, or at least they didn't for me. Ambiance feels like it's supposed to be a hideout for TCU-type affluent folks but the food is good and the ingredients were fresh. A little pretentious but the bread was fresh and had a nice crumb. Their deli section looked great and felt a little reminiscent of Judy Pie in Grapevine. The bakery options looked fantastic but I only stuck to lunch. Would return; the menu was diverse without being "too much" and the canned sodas were hella cold. Fresh ingredients and good service, no complaints there. If I did have to choose one thing to "complain" about, it would be the fact I had to empty my own trash and sort my own dishes. I felt like a server (restaurant industry vet for almost 20yrs) who was bussing a table, sorting plates and trays and silverware. Kinda odd for a place who primarily serves to the opulent. This little deli is adorable and delicious! We were a group of three teachers on our lunch break. We ordered inside at the counter and waited in our car for our food. The wait wasn't too bad even though there was a long line. All three of us ordered their signature sandwich, turks and durks, and it was fabulous! Hearty and fresh with perfectly toasted homemade (I would assume) bread! It came with a side salad with a delectable house dressing.
