Love this place. It's a small, eclectic deli with tons of charm and food that off the chain good. I've been here several times for both breakfast and lunch and haven't had a bad meals. From the breakfast burritos to salads, sandwiches. And everything in between, this spot hits it out of the park. What's more is the staff is always welcoming and pleasant. If you haven't tried this spot, you're missing out. read more

Lettuce cook is a really cute hole in the wall fresh food stop. I love coming here to grab sides and a sandwich or wrap before I head to the pool. The staff are always friendly and they also have some grab and go options in the cooler with lots of different drinks as well. I haven't tried any of their desserts yet, but they all look so good as well. read more

Never know when this place is open or when the "grill is shutdown". Major inconsistencies

Delicious! Stopped for a quick lunch and it was well worth it! The deli meat was so fresh and the sourdough bread was tasty! Thoroughly enjoyed the salad that came with it too. Definitely recommend and will be back! read more

I've gone twice. I enjoyed my sandwich both times. I'd go back again. It's small inside but we never had an issue getting a table.

Food is delicious, made from scratch & plentiful. Service is good and they have a great selection of food and beverages.

I only write reviews if an experience was very good or very bad, and I am sad to write this one. I loved the food at this restaurant so much that I brought a different friend with me every time I visited, and I went often. I was excited to share the place, typically after work (between 4 and 5). The prices always were a little high, but the food quality was excellent, and the women who worked there were welcoming. Then yesterday happened. A friend was going to meet me, and I arrived inside the restaurant at a few minutes after 4. With no preamble, a man behind the counter barked, "My grill closes at 4." No hello. No smile. Just a ton of smug, entitled energy. Confused, I asked how long that had been in effect. He shrugged and said a few months. It was SO off-putting. I don't care if their desserts are the best in a five-mile radius, his demeanor and attitude guaranteed that I won't bother to go back. If he wants to tank the business by having the last two hours of the day limited to whatever packaged food is in the refrigerators, that's a real shame. And yesterday there was very little available in the refrigerators. The real issue is that I'm not going to spend money I work hard for to pay someone who really can't be bothered to work. If you don't care about your business, neither do I. read more

Stopped by Lettuce Cook for lunch and was really impressed. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The bread was great and everything tasted homemade. Friendly staff and a cozy little spot--definitely coming back for another sandwich read more

The long haired woman working in the kitchen (with no hair net) was abrasive and rude. Maybe the lady was having a bad day, but there is no reason to make other people have one too. The two burgers my friends had were not good and the bread pudding was disgusting. read more

This place has everything I love. Comfortable cozy atmosphere, thoughtful and helpful service, and food that is fresh, well crafted and with flavors that are deliciously curated. I'm a huge fan! Will go back as soon as I'm able. read more

Lettuce Cook - Turks N' Durks Sandwich- Oven-roasted and sliced turkey, baby Swiss, caramelized onion, avocado, tomato, and Durkee. - Delis Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

First time in and let them pick out lunch for us. We had a smoked chicken sandwich with Cole slaw and the Turks and Durk- both sandwiches were off the charts, but the real winner was the Slaw. What an explosion of flavor! Amazing. read more

My daughter has made great comments about this place. The wife and I figured we would give it a try. The young woman at the register was very nice while taking our order and patient as it was our first time. The inside was a bit tight, yet welcoming but understandable for a small local business. The young lady brought out half our order. I had asked for the chicken to be warm on my salad, it was not. No biggy the flavor was good. But we had gotten about half way through our meal and the rest of the order was not out. My wife waited in line to ask about it. When she got to the register an older woman was very short and dismissive with her. My wife put in a second order for my daughter, to go. The rest of our order did not come out till our to go order did. My wife was not happy with the dismissive attitude so she went to the car. I went up to order dessert and the same older woman was not very personable while taking my order. Overall the food was good, the atmosphere was comfortable, but the interaction with the older woman changed our experience. We may or may not try it again. And the dessert was fantastic. read more

"Lettuce Cook" - YES, please!! We cannot celebrate this local restaurant enough for 3 reasons: (1) THE FOOD (fresh fresh fresh, just enough variety, even serve a fabulous breakfast/brunch menu, AND how they season everything is MAGICAL)... try my fav Egg N Hole Sammy for yummy protein-veg-whole grain goodness. (2) the service (so friendly and make PERFECT recommendations). (3) "how you get it" options (eat-in OR take-away OR curbside OR catering). Head to Lettuce Cook & be ready to become obsessed read more

Lettuce Cook - The Three Little Pigs bagel sandwich!! - Delis Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Best breakfast burrito in town! .....And the homemade granola bars amazing...great job TB!

My husband and I came here & first thing was we weren't even greeted with a hello or a smile. The lady who took our order looked like she either hated her job or did not want to serve us. The menu looked incredible as they had a variety of food items and deserts and unfortunately our food was mid. I'd be happy to give their food another try, but for sure will be ordering over phone for pick up because their ambiance is hostile and the girl with pink hair made us feel unwanted. I see others have similar experiences to mine and I hope the owner makes an effort to address customer service and hospitality to their employees!! read more

Good salads, good sammies, and near my 'hood! One Saturday, the hubby & I didn't feel like cooking, so we stopped by. We were so surprised. The reviews are true -- these folks know good food. I feel comfy vouching for anything here. I have not tried everything, but I am currently and joyfully making my way through the menu. So far, each item I've tried tastes super fresh and flavorful. You really taste the fact that everything is made in-house. Customer service has always been great. It's nice that all employees are well versed on the many dishes, so they can help you with making your selection if needed. If you're in a hurry, there are plenty of grab'n go meals to choose from, as well as desserts, granola bars, etc. They also offer some all day breakfast options and smoothies. It's going to take me a long time to try everything here :-D The interior reminds me of my Austin days - homey, comfy, non-pretentious. Make sure you get a Customer Reward card so that you get a freebie after your eighth visit! The parking lot is small, but side street parking is usually available. read more

Natalie, Yes, I understand people have bad days. However, this is different. And yes, I semi accept the apology for the behavior.one thing I won't accept is the attitude that I received from your husband in front of my 5 year old daughter...You spoke on a six and nine-year-old that you have, i'm sure you would never want someone to be rude to you with your children around. She did ask me about it by the way as she heard everything. I can agree maybe jumping to race might've been cliche however, similar to my situation there are several reviews ironically similar amongst the same group of people. Yes, I will give information about how I was treated to friends, family, and colleagues. I'm glad people from the base come still that's wonderful hopefully they a never experience what I did. I overall have never had a problem with your food and I've usually had a really good experience with all of your staff. Sorry to hear you guys are understaffed, but in the business of hospitality, there is a level of respect. You all seem to be doing just fine and that's great but again I will take my business elsewhere. I refuse to be treated like that in front of my daughter. I don't need to reach out via phone call. This will be my last correspondence. read more

Tried this place for lunch today. I like the vibe and they don't skimp on ingredients, or at least they didn't for me. Ambiance feels like it's supposed to be a hideout for TCU-type affluent folks but the food is good and the ingredients were fresh. A little pretentious but the bread was fresh and had a nice crumb. Their deli section looked great and felt a little reminiscent of Judy Pie in Grapevine. The bakery options looked fantastic but I only stuck to lunch. Would return; the menu was diverse without being "too much" and the canned sodas were hella cold. Fresh ingredients and good service, no complaints there. If I did have to choose one thing to "complain" about, it would be the fact I had to empty my own trash and sort my own dishes. I felt like a server (restaurant industry vet for almost 20yrs) who was bussing a table, sorting plates and trays and silverware. Kinda odd for a place who primarily serves to the opulent. I get it though, the price of labor (especially in this area) is sky-high. read more

I work nearby and this is super convenient and delicious. They also have options for most common diets.

I had the chicken Cesar wrap. I believe it was called the "Hali Cesar" & it was amazing! Almost tempted to go back tonight and have it again before I leave town. The Oreo cheesecake was also very good. This is one of my favorite places. read more

Delicious food, quirky vibes, great service. I always try something new each time I pop in this little shop. They have really expanded their menu over the years! The chili hatch burrito every time. Haven't been to Lettuce Cook in a few months but I went today and regret staying away so long! The ambiance : Okay y'all I feel like I stepped into a magical portal to Austin. This place is funky in all the right ways. Measuring cups for napkin holders, range of 60's -90's music which are all the best decades.customer service was so great. The girl made us feel welcome and gave us a run down on the menu. She saw that we were newbies and served our food with a smile. The food: I ordered the blue plate special a giant salad (grilled chicken Cesar to be exact). I added 1/2 avocado for 3 bucks. The special includes a drink all for 10.00!! Hibiscus tea is legitness y'all. Try it. They haveTruvia (stevia) which is badass for us low carb nature loving people. They have an extensive dessert bar that I didn't try but wish I had. Also they serve breakfast ALL DAY. This would be a cute little breakfast / brunch place on a Saturday. Overall guys just come here. read more

I randomly found this place while on a trip thru Fort Worth. I was looking for a breakfast burrito and I found this little pot. They had a green hatch chili burrito and it was out of this world.
