Considering I hadn't been here in forever, I'd give it another go. This place is still amazing as it used to be. Service was very nice and had many of different people checking in on me. The atmosphere is a laid back and chill vibe. The place is clean and neat. They don't have the all u can eat pancakes on Sunday but they have a nice brunch menu available. The price was about average for a burger and some sides. The sweets were awesome of course and they had plenty to choose from. Great place to grab lunch, with a nice scenery and it's also lgbt+ friendly!

My friend & I visited here last year, she is vegan - I am not, but this is her favorite place. Remember it being good, forgot to write review originally. We visited 9/5/25 (on a Friday) for brunch for her bday. Had reservations at 10am, not busy at all! She ordered Tofu Scrambled & pancakes (she loved them). I ordered Baked Potato Grill cheese & fries, yum! Fries (small cut potatoes) were really good. We also ordered from the bakery (forgot which cookie I got, but was really good) & she got brownies (always loves them)! Great service, definitely recommend especially if you're vegan!

Stopped by Spiral Diner & Bakery for a quick bite over the weekend. When you arrive there is plenty of parking on the side street and in front of the restaurant. When you walk in, it feels a bit kind of eclectic with different art and lamps at each table. I'll check in with the host and you'll be seated. I highly recommend a reservation as it tends to get busy and you may have to wait. I ordered the nacho supremo which chips, cashew cheese, black beans, quinoa, black olives, cilantro, corn, and tomatoes, green onion, and sour cream, guacamole, and pickled jalapeños. It was excellent, although the cashew cheese is a bit on the colder side. I also ordered the patty melt which was on Texas toast with a cashew quinoa, patty with melted, cashew cheese and grilled red onions. This is served hot and fresh and was excellent. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by spiral diner and bakery for dinner or lunch. If I am ever in the area I will stop here again.

Great variety menu! Eclectic vibe. Their kolaches are delicious! (If you can get them before they sell out!!)

The music as you walk in catches you a bit by surprise, unless I walked in on an incredibly good playlist. They had R&B hits and lgbtq friendly representation. The waiter was so helpful he recommended the sweet heat chicken melt and honestly did not disappoint. French toast sandwich with eggs and melted cheese and chicken in between. It was a bit on the spicer side but I didn't mind it, the chill jam was the perfect touch. The blueberry, strawberry, and banana with peanut butter smoothie is very filling I will say! I took the other half of it home.

I have been wanting to try out Spiral Diner for a few years now, and finally had the chance to go when I was in FW for an event! The parking is easy, and the interior is really cute. It's just a fun ambiance with lots of decorations and good vibes. We just came in for some nachos, which may look expensive, but the portion is huge (but enough for at least 2!). We got the buffalo chicken nachos, and they were pretty good. My issue was I am vegetarian and I don't enjoy smokey/chipotle tasting foods. The "chicken" was inedible for me, and this did hurt my overall experience because I had to eat around it. I wish that was noted on the menu as buffalo sauce is usually tangy but not smokey. Service was good, pretty standard. We came at an off hour so there wasn't a wait. I would likely return if it's convenient, but I wouldn't call Spiral Diner a go-to!

I love Spiral Diner! It's such a bummer the location in Dallas closed, but I love visiting when I'm in the Fort Worth area. My absolutely favorite is the Bunny Bowl with tofu and a big dish of vegan nacho cheese on the side. That vegan cheese is the showstopper of the meal. They have super delicious pancakes at spiral. The nacho meal is a standout choice because you get to have the vegan cheese everywhere! Service is usually slow from times of been, but it's a special trip for me to make it out there, so I don't mind and am usually with solid company too. The restaurant has a fun / eclectic decor vibe that's very welcoming and cozy. Plan to be there a while, but definitely support Spiral so it can stay around!

OMG! I love this place. My son and I used to go to the location in Dallas. This one picks to right where the other location left off. Every time I go, the food is incredible: try the double stack burger if you want a Big Mac fix.. Even the desserts are amazing. My favorite is the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting

Stopped in here with my grandson for donuts originally, but decided to stay for lunch. I ordered macaroni and cheese for him and the cheese potatoes for me which I should have asked more about because they weren't cheese fries, as I thought. The macaroni and cheese was way overcooked and mushy. It was bland and we had to salt and pepper it to even eat some of it. I thought I'd ordered cheese fries. Instead, I got the home fried potatoes with tons of barely cooked onions on top with thousand island sauce . I tried to eat some, but it had to stop. It was not tasty. Definitely not our cup of tea.

Spiral is an amazing spot! Even if you aren't vegan (I'm not), it's still worth the visit. They have an extensive menu with a nice variety depending on your mood. The supreme nachos are MASSIVE and easily sharable between two people. Their patty melt is also so delicious with the quinoa patty. I've been a few times, and the food never disappoints, and the staff are always friendly.

Spiral Diner first opened its doors in 2002, and its playful punk aesthetic quickly ingrained itself into my consciousness. As soon as I walked in, I loved it and continued to go even after my ~15-year vegetarian streak came to an end. The tables and chairs were charmingly mismatched and seemed thrifted. The employees would paint on the walls like impetuous children, and I was taken by features like an Elvis bust wearing a feather boa and an 80s-era arcade game in the lobby. I remember watching in wonder as an employee on his way home casually rode his bike through the restaurant and out the front door, and I can't recall ever being as impressed with an exit since. Near the dessert case is a little section where people leave business cards and announcements, and on one visit, I was so enamored with some Spiral Diner flyers announcing a horror movie screening that I had one laminated and still use it as a bookmark to this day. I also remember finding a ladybug in my salad once and taking it outside for its grassy liberation. So many enchanting moments here. This place was fully a part of me. At some point, something shifted, and different choices by management started showing up. Many of my favorite menu items, like the Big Texas Salad and Spring Wrap, began to be discontinued. The raw chocolate torte, which started out with an avocado base, eventually devolved into a tofu base, and then ceased production altogether. The creative and spontaneous murals, including ones painted by local artist and Spiral employee Jeremy Joel (who sadly passed away during the Covid era), were painted over and replaced by stagnant and generic wall art. The tables and chairs all match now and look like any standard diner furniture. The fun touches are fewer and farther between, and the lobby space is more about merchandise than art now, essentially turning what was for so long an endlessly-morphing creative space into an uninspiring and stodgy storefront. Their 'Pickle San'ich' (simply two pieces of toasted bread with mayo & pickles) used to be a glad little snack at $2-something but is now priced at almost $8. Prices go up, but $8 for jar pickles and mayo? You'd think they fermented the cucumbers themselves at that rate. I don't even know where I am anymore. As I begin to imagine a life outside of Texas, I am thinking of all the places I will miss and hate to leave. But I think Spiral Diner left me first.

Ate here two days in a row during my trip. The menu has a wide selection. Everything I had was amazing, starting with the Iced Mocha. Homer hit the spot: I had my pancakes made with blueberries and pecans; scrambled tofu with all the veggies; and the bacon strips were some of the best I've had! The next day, I had the BBQ San'ich, which stole the show. I like the rich, dark chocolate of the Peanut Butter Cup, though it is a little hard to bite into. The vibe here was lively during my visits. The service was friendly, attentive, and prompt.

We always enjoy dining here! The food is sooo good fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented every time. The vegan and gluten-free menu options are a huge plus and make it easy for everyone to find something they love. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

There are a million things you have to plan and worry about going awry on your wedding day and this was the one component that was just perfect. From ordering, asking questions, and pickup to cutting and eating - the process working with Hanna was seamless and comfortable. The cake itself was to die for. We went with an almond cake, blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting. This combination was insane! The cake was buttery, flavorful, nutty, nuanced and so rich and delicate. The filling was fresh, sweet, tart, and bright. The frostings were creamy, melt in your mouth goodness. The sweetness was so balanced that no one had a problem inhaling their slice. Might I say - this cake was even better the next day when I had time to myself and my now husband :) to sit down and enjoy a leftover slice with some hot tea. It was just such a memorable part of our entire weekend. Not that I even have to disclose but, obviously, the cake was gorgeous. I was absolutely hesitant to slice and ruin any of this incredibly detailed piping and decor but it cut like butter and tasted just as good as it looked.
