I have nothing positive to say about Snap Kitchen. 1st - my delivery box arrived completely open/untapped. (And when I mentioned to customer support they didn't care.) 2nd - my meals expired within 4-5 days of delivery. 3rd - my meals were small and not satisfying ...All of this can be looked over, but... 4th - there was a RUBBERBAND in one of my meals. Mistakes happen, but when I reached out to customer service there was nothing genuine about their response. Instead I got offered $20 credit next order. Who in their right mind would even consider this a reasonable response. There are sooo many better delivery options out there that taste better, are better reasonably priced and have better customer service. read more

why is brunette manager always in a bad mood? A month ago she kept telling me to try the low calorie options, and I said that wasn't what I was looking for. Let's start with what this place isn't... it is not a restaurant. Although, there is seating for a couple of people at each of three little tables... and microwaves to heat your food up. What you WILL find are refrigerators, full of single-serving, wholesome, tasty, unique gluten-free selections that are a delight! I tried one dish there (we ate in, since it wasn't busy) and took two dishes home. I tried the crustless chicken pot pie, pumpkin alfredo spaghetti with sage chicken sausage, and the chili lime salmon with Mexican street corn. My favorite has to be the pumpkin alfredo with sage chicken. But the salmon was a very close second. The best part... My body felt healthy after I was done eating. The dishes are made offsite at a gluten-free kitchen. And the recipes change every six weeks or so. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're staying anywhere near it. Everyone can choose the dish they want, and then take it back to the Airbnb or hotel to cook it. Takes less than two minutes to heat up. My husband ate the harissa chicken, and even bought a bottle of the creamy jalapeño sauce made with avocado oil to bring home. He was quite pleased. And he's not even gluten-free! read more

Updated review: district manager called, unfortunately I ordered through a 3rd party delivery service so they do not guarantee freshness it's a different policy unless you order from their website or app. So I won't order via 3rd parties again. And John credited me $50 to my member account which I appreciated although I'm not one to ask for favors, along with a phone call explanation. I would highly recommend ordering directly from Snap so when there's issues, they can resolve them adequately. Updated rating since they really tried their best. I ordered $101 to be exact, worth of meals for the week online. And then I realize today (the very next day) they all expire the DAY I ordered them. Every single one of them. I actually really like Snap Kitchen and the meals. I like the portion control and the meals are very tasty. I had a 12 box a week delivery subscription for 6 weeks. When I discovered there was a physical location close enough to drive to I decided to cancel this delivery subscription. I knew I would be billed for/received one more box before the cancellation took effect and I was fine with it. However, I never received my box this week. I was billed for it and I received an email with a tracking 8 Information which shows a label was created but the package was not dropped off to UPS. I emailed on Tuesday when I didn't receive my meals and still haven't received any explanation. This is so frustrating to be billed $125 and get nothing - no meals and no customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!! My friends cancelled their service in July 2023 and 9 months later, without any notice, Snap Kitchen started charging their debit card and sending boxes of food that was never ordered! We returned the first 2 unopened boxes immediately and contacted their bank. The bank disputed the charges for them and issued them a new debit card. Within one hour of my friends activating their new debit card, somehow Snap Kitchen AGAIN charged their new debit card immediately! Again, we disputed their fraudulent charges and have yet to find out how in the world Snap Kitchen was able to access a brand new debit card number!!! Snap Kitchen does not have a phone number for customers to call and the address theythey list on their FedEx shipping labels is a permanently closed location! Furthermore, as of today (3/7/24) they have 5 complaints listed against them with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Snap Kitchen has clearly prioritized quantity over quality! read more

Been awhile since we visited snap things seemed to have changed a lot since the last visit. The meals seem to be more meat focused unlike before the store was mostly plant based and vegetarian meals. So happy that we found this place! The food is exquisite and reasonably priced. These meals work well with my Weight Watchers diet, my husband's diabetes, my elderly dad's need for easy meals to cook, and my daughter's gluten free diet. Amazing! One suggestion- please let buyers know when something is spicy. The carrots on the salmon burger were REALLY spicy. My favs so far- salmon burger, Buffalo burger, street tacos, breakfast migas, and Korean meatballs. Today the store gave us some red pepper hummus to try. Wife and I visited today and bought $50 of food, be did the buy 2, get one free. We decided to eat the free food, heated the food there, so we could eat on the way home. Shortly after eating mine (enchiladas), and my my wife had a chicken teriyaki(didn't finish), we both had to head to the toilet, because it didn't agree with either of us. So we now have food that we bought (and are afraid to eat), and don't have a number to call, to let them know. Definitely not returning, to this location or any of their others. Great west 7th location, but like all businesses on this road just be careful pulling out in a car since they have lower ground clearance than suv's. You can bottom out if driving too fast. Snap kitchen is our healthy fast food. Fair price and lots of flavor. We like how they have multiple size choices for different sized appetites. Keep in mind, this is a meal prep type food. HOWEVER, it was actually pretty good. I ordered this off uber eats and didn't do ANY research for the restaurant. I saw "brisket tacos, jalapeño cornbread" and went HAM. I also got a brownie, because why not? It arrived at my job and I was super upset when I first saw it. It's all in Tupperware and cold. It looked very sad. But, as I was starving and had already paid for it, I ate it anyway. As soon as I started eating, I realized it was actually pretty damn good. And knowing I wasn't eating complete garbage made me feel so much better about what it was. I wasn't hungry after, the food was good, and I'll be bringing my husband to try this sometime soon. I spend 4+ days per week staying in a hotel for work. Found this place and ordered about 3 days worth of food. It's healthy and delicious!! My only complaint is that 2 of the items I ordered were not in my bag, and the app doesn't give you a convenient way to report it. I do love the app though! I have tried Snap Kitchen many times. Recently, I tried Snap Kitchen's balanced 5 day meal plan. I got 3 meals and 2 snacks each day. I was not a fan. By day 3, I could not wait for it to be over, because most of the food lacked flavor. I had a hard time eating it. I preferred to just be hungry. However; I did really enjoy some of the food. The ease of the app and not having to meal prep was nice. The people that work there are always kind and helpful. My favorites (I'd go back for only these items. They're pretty tasty.): Almond Butter maple pancakes with berry compote, Maple banana oatmeal, Spaghetti turkey bolognese, brownie, yogurt (but you can just buy Siggi's at Central Market) Just ok (I was able to eat most of it. I wouldn't want to eat it again.): Banana pancakes, ab&j oatmeal, beef lasagna, hot chicken with fusilli and cheese, supreme pasta Awful (threw away after a few bites): Nona lim carrot ginger soup, turmeric tonic (go to Juice Junkies Down the street for a good juice), Tex mex breakfast wrap, chicken Chile enchiladas, chicken parm, red curry butternut squash soup Overall, good for a few meals and super convenient. Well, I started a new job near this location, and I was pressed for a quick lunch. There are plenty of restaurants around here, but I wanted something I could grab immediately and bring back to work. This place checked off all my boxes. I did some quick research online so I didn't look like a total dummy once I got there (and it's easier to check ingredients online than to pick up EVERY SINGLE MEAL and try to read through it), and grabbed a few things to go. I was surprised by the quality! It's like a Lean Cuisine except it's not frozen, it actually tastes good, and it's good for you. :p I've been back several times; it's also nice for when my husband is out of town and I don't feel like cooking for one. There's been a few places like this over the years popping up. Simply Fit meals, My Fit Foods etc. Snap kitchen is exactly the same concept- cooked and measured into whatever size you deem appropriate for your meal - small, medium or large. The macros are printed on the package so it's incredibly diet friendly, especially if you are conscious of your daily intake. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks. They also have a large selection of paleo friendly, gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian things. They have some juices and teas as well. I like the selection so far. I do hate that everything is in plastic tubs- I wish they offered a container choice program, like with glass, for a bit more. Or even tub recycling. Finally!!! Fort Worth gets a Snap kitchen! This place is fantastic if you : a-hate cooking b-want something relatively healthy and c-value convenience. I always lose weight when I live near a Snap Kitchen because I have no excuse to eat fast food every day. Also, I am so happy to not be bringing turkey sandwiches to work every day. I had the naked beef today for lunch at work. It was delicious! They always make sure the meats are not overcooked or dry, the snap peas are crisp, and everything is ultra fresh. Just make sure you pay attention to the "Best By:" dates on the side of the packaging if you are buying several meals at once for the week. They also have an assortment of desserts, dips (try the jalapeño hummus) and juices and coffees. This place is a life saver for busy people!! Sign up for Snap Rewards. We are traveling from Seattle to DFW and had a horrible experience with Enterprise rent a car next door to Snap, therefore not all was lost! I walked over there while waiting and since we are staying in an Extended Stay where we have some cooking abilities, I found this to be a far better alternative to grocery shopping and risking a lot of waste. The meals look utterly delicious and we got enough breakfast, lunch/dinner and salad options to get us to the end of our stay at a remarkably affordable price for incredible quality products. The agent was incredibly helpful and knowledgable about the products. I spent a fraction of what I would at a supermarket and will return home with little or no wasted food. I enrolled into the program and gifted, through said program to a friend. The meals will be perfect for our household as they are not tiny nor grandiose. We had a place like this in Seattle run by famed chef Cathy Casey which I miss terribly. I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot as you can order online and the meals are waiting for you, bagged and in a chilled case ready to take and go. Please give it a shot! read more

Snap kitchen is a life saver. I'm doing my 3 round of whole30 and my work schedule has been crazy so there's no time to meal prep. While it's of course more expensive to buy snap kitchen meals than it is to buy the ingredients and do it yourself, you're paying for quality food and the convenience factor. The snap kitchen app even lists whole30 is a description for the meals that are compliant so I don't have to sit and read all of the ingredients myself. This is by far my favorite meal prep company I've tried and plan to keep coming back! read more

I am on my third meal this week and picking up my order for next week on Monday as part of the meal plan I recently signed up for. I've really been impressed with all the meals I've had thus far. They are delicious. I have to add some extra veggies as a side, as some of the portions are not filling enough. I'm ok with adding some steamed broccoli or other veggies though. This has cut down significantly on my meal prep for the week. I know I'm getting good nutrition and have a better idea of the calories and nutritional value I eat for the week. I can also already see that I'm wasting less groceries, as I'm eating the meals and adding a few sides here and there, rather than large quantities of produce and groceries expiring. If you're on the fence about the cost, give it a chance. If your eating the meals and only adding small amounts of veggies or sides here and there, it's worth it because you will likely find your no longer purchasing and throwing away the expired groceries you'd thought you'd use. read more

This is my favorite SNAP location. The staff is fun and friendly and so very helpful! The stock is often low early so you have to get your order in early. I am OBSESSED with this place! I'm in Fort Worth for work, and eat paleo for autoimmune disease management. Usually traveling for work is a nightmare, but Snap Kitchen has made this one of the most exciting work trips ever! It's a little tricky to find if you don't know what you're looking for, but I managed to get to the parking lot through a questionable back alley. The woman working was so nice and helpful, and hooked me up with some amazing discounts such that I will pay hardly anything to eat for the first couple days of my trip! I will absolutely be grabbing some more meals throughout my trip. A bonus surprise is that they actually deliver to my home city in Wisconsin, so I will absolutely be looking into their meal delivery! I usually tend to refrain from writing reviews because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end, but I'm going to make an exception today. Earlier this week my husband picked up several days worth of meals to help me out since he was going to be out of town. 2 of the entrees included the turkey chili. I have eaten this dish from snap more times than I can count. We have spent thousands of dollars there over the last couple years and most of the time it's been great. However after eating this chili I woke up 5 hours later to explosive diarrhea from hell. The next day my husband went by to return the chili entrees and let them know that I had gotten extremely sick from them and the girl working proceeded to tell my husband "you know you can't get food poisoning that quickly." Not only did she continue to question him and not take him seriously but she didn't even offer a refund, just a replacement of green juice. This is never the way to act in customer service. My husband is a patient man so the fact that he had to tell the girl "my wife was shitting her brains out all night" is not a good sign.
