Parking sucks but that's expected. What wasn't expected was that I preordered my sandwich and arriving almost 30 minutes later, it wasn't done. I had my mask on, and the person at the register couldn't understand me at all... said my name three times and she kept asking me 'what?' So I pull my mask away from my mouth, not down just maybe half an inch hoping she could hear me, and some random manager woman literally yells at me saying if I can't keep my mask on, I have to leave. Everyone seemed incredibly depressed in this place, I've been to other huts, mostly in Denver and this palace felt more of a funeral home than a welcoming establishment. Sandwich was okay at best, but honestly, Jersey Mike's just does it all better, and I've never had a single issue there. This place? Too much sauce, and the workers seem to just be in a daze. read more

One of the best sandwiches I ever had! We ordered 3 "the kind" looking at the menu on yelp. When I got there, there were more stuff on the menu! Salad was also good. Will definitely eat here again! Good was ready as promised when arrived. read more

LOVE THESE GUYS!! Always maskes the dankest sandwiches possible. So many awesome options and high quality bread, i believe made in house. I recomend this place to visitors from out of town. read more

Excellent value for the price. Chen Hut has a unique culture that everyone should experience at least once. Most of their sauces and extras are made in-house. read more

I have been here before and again the sandwich was great and tasty. I got the Midwest with their herb and garlic bread. It is amazing. The staff are friendly and talkative and proud of there product which is good to see. read more

I'm from California, so I'm not familiar as much with the culture in Oregon. I personally did not like how heavily weed based all their menu and art work was, especially with small children in my group. After reading all the reviews I thought I was about to eat the best sandwiches of my life, so we figured we'd still give it a try. Customer service was great. Very friendly and outgoing employees. We tried 3 different sandwiches, they were all good, but I'm not sure I would describe them as the best sandwiches I've ever had (perhaps I had high expectations after reading previous reviews). Solid sandwich shop, especially if you don't mind or like weed based paraphernalia. read more

The employee didn't allow me to use their restroom (she basically jumped out from the register to stop me on my way there) after previously allowing it to another customer and I witnessed that. That was a bummer cause I was on a road trip. I understand the COVID thing and all, but the rules should apply for all the customers then. The food was good though. read more

This place had the most delicious sandwiches! We were traveling from California to Seattle and stopped here on our way and so glad we did because it was truly bomb! read more

Yay! I'm tryin a new place!!! It was hard to spot but when I did it stood out like a sore thumb! It's nice... very nice! It's got class and crazy amounts of art work! It is however a little small inside ... the menu takes up half the wall! So I asked the wonderful cashier what her preference was and I ended up gettin her fave ... the Cali mist! HOLY CRAP! It's loaded and super flavorful! It's by far one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. It's got a little spice which is good... everything melts in the mouth... soooo good!!! I'm definitely comin back here!!! read more

Wish we would have gone to subway. Sandwich was bland! Service was good at least. The decor was funny and we liked the music inside. The Italian wAs so bland and so was the French dip read more

I always get the Apollo 13 and a munchie crispy treat. The chicken in the Apolo 13 is always perfectly seasoned and warm without making the veggies or the crust soggy. They have the BEST treats my two favorites are the coco puff crispy treat and OG rice crispy. Kind of loud when you go inside I feel like I'm shouting but the music is great and everybody inside is just vibin. Does get busy during lunch hours and has recently been really busy in the evening so plan accordingly. They also have some beer on tap or at least they did pre pandemic. One of the best lunch spots in Eugene! read more

Here, service is always excellent. When I come here, I always get the food I expect. The atmosphere is pleasant. The uniqueness of the building's art is also incredibly appealing to me. read more

Best sandwiches in town! Love the White Widow the most and the bread really helps make the sandwich. I don't have a photo to share because I already ate my sandwich! read more

Such a cool place. They gave frisbees with sandwiches on 4/20 so big props to them. Had a great experience and will for sure recommend to people! read more

Stopped in here late one night after a long drive from LA. Was so happy to see this place open and it didn't disappoint! Friendly service and the sandwiches were amazing! If you find yourself in the city of Ducks, waddle over to this place. read more

got the kali mist, didn't think I would like, once I started eating it I think I actually started ascending and saw god himself it was so good I was so sad when I finished it I think they laced it because that was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. read more

Just got a pair of bomb sandwiches from Cheba Hut delivered through Grubhub. They forgot sprouts on my wife's sandwich, but all in all they were delicious read more

I love the entire atmosphere here! Friendly service, hilarious decorations, and great menu. This place just describes Eugene in a nut shell. Everything is marijuana based and it doesn't get any funnier than that. The vegetarian options are nice, and I'm always trying something new when I come! I find that a nut is a perfect size for lunch. Grab yourself some kool-aid & a bag of chips & you are all set. read more

Bomb sandwiches. Ordered and it was done really quickly. I ordered the 12" White Widow and I'd say everything was really good. Also ordered another vegetarian sandwich telling them to have no cheese in it. Ended up getting one that had cheese, called them back and they acknowledged that they messed up and quickly made a new one. Quick and friendly service! read more

Honestly one of those sandwiches that makes you go back. The staff isn't some guys you'd think would be at a fine dining restaurant, but it's a sandwich shop? One of the best sandwiches I've ever had read more

The sub shop was pretty much all that was open around 9:30pm on a Friday nite. The subs we had were good. The 4" with meat basically was $5. Not really cheap but good. The music was less than good but I'm not 20 anymore. The service was good and it was a cool looking place. The food was good but nothing overly special that I would go back to. read more

I've been a regular for some time but today will be my last visit to this Eugene location. I asked the girl before she wrapped the sandwich where the turkey was, and she said under the cheese. I shoveled half the sandwich while driving home because I was so hungry but had to pull over because I couldn't taste turkey or the chipotle mayonnaise. I went back with the half a sandwich to have the girl scrape the one piece of turkey into a ball around the other ingredients with her hand to show me the huge amount of turkey, that there wasn't. Then she chastised me for eating half the sandwich. I know the product and this was not acceptable or I would never have gone back. They offered me a refund-didn't even offer to make the sandwich correctly. The girl with the red pig tails just lost cheba my lifetime of business. read more

Amazing food, amazing service. This place has never failed me. Highly recommend the Gorilla Glue sandwich.

So dank, love the art & vibe! The Kali Club was so freakin tasty, gonna try the Ranch one next time!

The bread is perfect especially after they run it through their toaster. It's always a nice surprise to find alfalfa sprouts too.

O.M.G! So good! Let me start by saying yes it's a word play on marijuana but it's still kid friendly. The vegetarian options are GREAT! The herb bread is phenomenal and the veggies and sprouts always fresh and crunchy. I'm beyond sad that I don't have one in my hometown. read more

I fell in love with Cheba Hut in Denver and I was beyond stoked when I moved to Eugene and happened to run into this joint on a random day! Seriously the best toasted subs I've had for a good price! I'm drooling just thinking about their subs haha They have a marijuana theme with their sandwich names but don't let that scare you away. My girlfriend brought her conservative mother here and Cheba got her stamp of approval haha do yourself a favor and get your grub on at Cheba Hut! You won't regret it. read more

Ate a delicious hot turkey sandwich in this funky, college-student restaurant. Medium size, about eight bucks. Gal working the counter was very friendly, food served quickly. I'd give it five stars but the weed-centric branding makes it a less-appealing place to bring the kids to. I suppose they know their audience though... read more

A bit pricy but I would rather visit this spot any day over the big dogs, Jimmy johns, quiznos, or subway. The Marijuana references to everything may be off putting to some but I find it rather fun. So the cashier that helped me was a Frickin rock star. This dude had charisma and charm, other buisnesses should take note. I seriously want to hire this guy and pay him double. He walked me through the sandwiches and reccomend the white widow (chicken bacon ranch) and the club sandwich that I forgot the name of for the wife and I. Sandwiches were on point and the combos of meat, bread, veggies and sauce were on point. This would easily be a 5 star, but the price point is a little steep. 7 dollars for a 7 inch "pinner" Seems a tad high to come all the time. So 4 stars, but service and food is a 5. read more

Cheba Hut came highly recommended before I moved to Eugene, so my expectations were set high and they did not disappoint. Now, Cheba Hut isn't a fancy shmancy sandwich place, you can get a good sized sandwich for under $10 with all the regular sandwich fixins. Overall the food is great for the price, just don't be expecting some "artisan ciabatta" lol. Great stop for any late night hungry stoner. I recently tried their not'chos and I'm currently addicted (they use Doritos instead of tortilla chips). They also serve kool aid which reminds me of my childhood and makes me infinitely happy. read more

Cheba Hut Toasted Subs - That white widow!! Best sandwich place in Eugene !! - Sandwiches Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I started to get a little bit paranoid when I walked in to satisfy my munchies. I felt like everyone was staring at me and they could tell I don't smoke pot. (nothing against people who do, just doesn't work for me chemically) I was FREAKING OUT, MAN! I don't know where I got the impression that this is a pot smoker's lunch destination. There's not even a hint in the place at all that that's the case. ;-) Great sandwiches, lots of options, great prices, friendly service, I'd stop back again and again if I lived in The Euge. Even if they're all watching me. ;-) read more

This food is so delicious. Doesn't matter what you get, it's soooo good! Great price ! The baked goods are also amazing. I recommend the captain crunch munchie. I mean it when I say any of the subs are great. Staff is super friendly and the location is great as well. This place is a must see if you are a tourist - lots of art to see here and it's very unique to Eugene. My one and only complaint- on April 20 (any year) they get everyone's order wrong, I swear. My vegetarian friend found a meat lover sub in our bag once we finally got home! but they were really great about fixing the problem and let us meat eaters keep that extra sub too! read more

I have been on a serious Cheba Hut kick lately, ever since discovering The Dank toasted sub. The Dank is a glorious pizza sub (marinara, cheese, salami & pepperoni, veggies) that satisfies my regular craving for the flavors of pizza without the price (and guilt of eating) an entire pie. Trust me when I say to order your Dankness on garlic bread with bacon AND avocado - you can thank me later. If you're having an intense case of the munchies (or drunchies) as I often do late at night, try ordering one of their chocolate chip cookies as well. This cookie closely rivals the popular Dough Co cookie. I promise. The Cheba Hut sandwich engineers are friendly, hilarious (we probably all know why that is), and offer speedy service. My most recent delivery order arrived in less than 30 minutes. read more
