Bad service, Not Black American friendly.

I just left your restaurant after working a corporate event for my massage business, and I am extremely disappointed by the service and the way I was treated. I was dining alone and sat for more than 30 minutes without receiving my food while customers who were seated after me received theirs. The table next to me ordered steak, as I did, and their food was brought out from the kitchen with a grand presentation. Another table that was seated later also received their food while I continued to sit without mine. What concerned me most was what I observed while waiting. I saw a female employee holding my ticket while the other tickets were up on the line. I brought this to my server's attention, and after my server went to inquire about my order, I observed three employees laughing among themselves. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable waiting for or eating the food. I did not make a scene, raise my voice, or argue with anyone. I simply asked the host for my check so that I could pay for my drink--which I left nearly full on the table--and leave. When a customer watches other guests who arrived after them receive their meals while their own order appears to be deliberately delayed, and then sees employees laughing after the issue is questioned, it creates a serious loss of trust. By that point, I was no longer comfortable accepting food from the kitchen because I could not feel confident about how my order would be handled. I am very disappointed that my experience reached that point. I came in simply wanting to have a meal after working an event. Instead, I left without eating and feeling as though I had been treated differently from the other customers around me. I hope management takes the time to review what happened, speak with the employees who were working, and determine why my order was handled this way. No customer should have to sit quietly watching everyone around them being served and wonder why they are being treated differently.

My family used to come eat here in person (at the original location at boys town exit) for years when I was in high school so I have fond memories for deeper reasons than most. But the food continues to evolve - yet stay the same - when it should. Today I tried the Dynamite Shrimp Salad (normally I get the Caesar or Cobb -- both equally delish) and I was blown away. Seriously new fave salad. You can test the waters by ordering the shrimp app first. If you like that and greens - get this salad!! You will not be disappointed. ALWAYS get an extra side of the croissants or you WILL be mad at yourself. They are continually soft, sweet and worth the extra money. Other family faves are kale salad, Walt's salad, ribs (!!), baked potato soup and their glazed carrot side. I haven't eaten in house for years so can't comment on service, but remember it being awesome when we would dine in.

Charlestons has been my go-to steak spot for over 20 years Through the years management has changed, locations have changed but the food has always remained the same high quality. I always get the filet with a baked potato and house salad with their home-made blue cheese dressing. I promise you'll never have blue cheese dressing better than theirs. You won't find a better made baked potato with perfect crispy, salty skin. You won't find a better prepared steak. And lastly you won't find a nice big flakey, buttery croissant with honey drizzled on top like charlestons The only negative I will give is I miss the ambiance of the older location. It was dimly lit and had a cozier family vibe compared to the new brightly lit more open, modern design Other than that all of their food is top notch. I know other family really enjoy their shrimp scampi and noodle dishes. They also make killer bread pudding when it's on the menu!

What a fantastic place to eat dinner! I went with a group of friends before a fancy event and it was such a great experience. The place was clean, fancy enough for dresses but also not too fancy where you can't wear jeans and a t shirt. The waiter was so friendly. The food was great but the queso was exquisite!! The croissants were so soft and buttery. All the meats were good as well. We will certainly be back!

Had a nice meal to help celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would appreciate the staff doing a little more to make it more memorable, but the food was great. Kids had the burger and ribs. Both were cooked perfectly. Had the 1/2 chicken, which had so much flavor and the salad was really good. It came with a croissant, which was delicious. Kind of wish they gave enough for the table. Hard to split 5 ways. I liked that they had Coke products. It was pretty quiet at 5 pm, but got busier towards the end.

I've been going to Charleston's as long as they've been in business, always had great food, always had great service. I'm not sure how long it's been on the menu, but they now have fried chicken and they knocked it out of the park. I've had a two weeks in a row now. Once inside and wants to go. Both times incredible.

Charleston's has been my family's go-to "what should we eat for dinner" restaurant since I've been a kid. I was sad to see it leave the old location, but I was happy to hear they were keeping the same menu. My husband and I visited the new location last week and had a really good meal. We started with the chips and queso, which I had never had, but it was great - a little spicy! I had a chicken and avocado club. This was a nice, large portion and tasted light and fresh. My husband had the enchilada plate, and he was also impressed by his meal. The only note I have is the ambiance - it is LOUD. I feel like the dark, moody feel of the old building inherently lent itself to using quieter voices, but the bright, new location does not. I hope the invest in some kind of noise-reducing infrastructure, because I know I'm not the only person to notice the voice level.

First time trying charlestons and everything was delicious. Enchiladas were super tasty, and the croissants were some of the best I have ever had. I will definitely be back to try more things.

I've been in a lot but first time at the new location! Atmosphere and service are both great and fast--just as they were in the old spot. The salad (I subbed shrimp) is amazing--one of my favorites in town! This time it didn't come with as much dressing as usual which was disappointing, but all in all they are a very consistent spot and have a great variety, paired with excellent service!

Always have to get their shrimp dynamite salad!! So beyond good and they're croissants!! Their martinis are always hitting the spot as well!

My hubby works right across the street and I have never been to Charleston's. Well, what can I say? It's beautiful in the restaurant our waiter was friendly, outgoing and pretty cool. Lunch was delicious. Lots of options to choose from and they sometimes have promotions. I had gotten a sandwich and it was pretty big so I was only able to eat one half, but I had something for later. I got home, my son saw the box and I got suckered out of the other half. He loved it too. This review has been a long time coming, so I think I will be planning our next date night.

The Rusty Nail is a nice little hometown bar that feels like it's great for the "regulars" who…read morefrequent there, and also for everyone else for an odd game or two that you want to catch in a nice sports bar style setting. It's a little old fashioned in the ambiance and layout, with a split level design that has the bar and a few booths in the lower section and a large open area with free standing tables/chairs in the upper area. It has a lot of wood features, a concrete style floor, and LOTS of TVs (even some that are in the booth with you), which makes it a great place for watching a big game. It can get pretty crowded in there on a weekend or big game day, so definitely plan for that/get there early. They also do karaoke and music bingo on certain nights of the week too, so if you like those types of activities, check out their calendar for upcoming events. The service and food are excellent from what we've experienced. They are always checking on if you need another drink/refill or any of your plates cleared away. The beer and drinks are served extra cold and crisp, so they're definitely doing something right behind the bar. In terms of food, it's definitely bar fare, but it hits the spot if you've been there for a while watching a game or out with friends drinking. We've had a lot of different things: -Spicy Fried Cheese Bites: I am a cheese lover and these were great, but they were a little TOO spicy for this wimpy girl. I still liked them, especially with the marinara sauce provided, but just be aware and believe them when they say "spicy" fried cheese. -Fried Green Beans: I LOVE fried green beans, and if you do too you know that they're not a super easy thing to find at Omaha restaurants anymore. So if you are a fan, definitely get these. They are the standard fried green beans, served with ranch, but they hit the spot for this fried green bean lover. -Garlic Cheese Bread: This is basically a smaller version of the cheese pizza that you can order, but with a little side of marinara sauce and cut into strips for you to share. Classic item that you will know if you like or not, based on your preferences. -Boneless Wings: I am an adult toddler who prefers boneless wings over bone in wings, and they have a teriyaki sauce option (which is my favorite and not too many places have it on their main menu). They never come super incredibly well dressed in the sauce, but I appreciate that they offer both boneless wings and teriyaki sauce. -Rusty Mac and Cheese: This is a pretty big bowl of Mac and Cheese so it can be an entire meal if you're not too hungry for protein. The cheese sauce is white cheddar and gouda, which work well together, and it comes with diced bacon on top. You can add a sauce as a topper for free, but any additional protein, like chicken, pulled pork, etc - will run you $2-$3. So it's a nice big bowl of Mac and Cheese with another sauce if you want to add it and it can be a little more hearty if you add another protein. -Pizza: They have pretty good pizzas in a lot of the standard flavors - supreme, pepperoni, beef. A good option if you're a pizza lover and want a good bar pizza. -Reuben: Reubens are a big thing here in Omaha and there are some that people love and others hate. This one was pretty in between, with a not too offensive sauerkraut flavor, well cooked corned beef, and a melty topping of 1000 Island and Swiss Cheese all on rye toast slices. You can get Reubens a lot of places in Omaha, but this one is most similar to an age old classic style Reuben. For Desserts, we've tried their dessert pizzas, or Dessert-Zas. They are similar to a streusel dessert in a pizza shape, and come in either a cherry topping or apple topping. We've tried both toppings actually and both are pretty good. You definitely have to be a cinnamon and streusel fan, and I definitely recommend adding one of the fruit toppings! Next time you're thinking about going out to catch the big game or just for a fun night of drinking/karaoke, I think you should give Rusty Nail a try and see if you enjoy the ambiance and food - it may become a new option for you the next-next time you're looking for a fun bar.

My boyfriend worked nearby,…read moreso his coworkers advised that he bring me here for our anniversary and it was such an incredible experience. After dining here, my boyfriend and I both agreed that it did not feel like we were even in Omaha during our meal. Pivot is equivalent to a nice steakhouse in a larger city like Chicago, and truly felt like we were transported. The ambiance is very luxurious yet comfortable and welcoming. The dim lighting and lush detailing were very romantic and intimate. The service is also excellent. Our server was incredibly prompt, helpful, and even brought us complimentary champagne to celebrate our special night. The busser and hostess were equally as friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. I highly recommend the steak, as well as their crack fries, which were what dreams are made of. Food was horrible first time overly salted, but service was excellent so we thought we would try again. Now food was better but still underwhelming. The service was sub par. No cleaning of a spill, no plate brought for sides when my bowl of ragout didn't allow for sides, I am shocked they don't have bread service still with their prices, the waitress did not seem to have a high knowledge of the menu, no specials, the dessert was ordered incorrectly and overall just not to the expectations of the pricing. Our bill was over $100/person when it felt more like a roadhouse or something. Also, I don't really understand the whole obsession over the crack fries. They are fried potato wedges that are cooked well but don't have much taste and yes the aioli is good but it just seems like a weird thing to be obsessed over. Maybe I have too high expectations of this place because mentally they are in the spot of Mohagany's and they are hard to match. I do not think we will be back.
