We stumbled into this place for an event and it was wonderful!!! The place itself is like a Chinese museum! You really feel like you are in China! It is a beautiful, spacious venue that is perfect for families or even a large group event. The food is exquisite, truly delicious, and incredibly authentic, you won't regret eating here! Everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch. Lin was incredibly nice and friendly, and the owner, Siya, is amazing! I will for sure be back to this place and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful Chinese ambience throughout the restaurant. Service was friendly and professional. The plating of the food was beautiful however, the food was average tasting. Nothing really stood out. For the expensive price, I expected the food to be tastier. Quantity of food was also small portion. It's a nice place to celebrate a special occasion.

Hidden in a quiet shopping plaza, this restaurant is widely regarded as one of the best Chinese dining destinations in Orange County and Los Angeles. Its Peking Duck is beautifully prepared and served with traditional accompaniments. The refined atmosphere, attentive service, and multilingual staff fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English enhance the experience.

It's a high-end Chinese restaurant with a very elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, and the food is presented with great attention to detail. The plating is impressive, and the overall presentation is excellent. However, the prices are just as upscale as the ambiance.

I keep thinking how to surpass the food and wine pairing at Chang An, and for my latest visit, I shifted my focus entirely toward a different mountain, flawless structural precision and critical perfection. To test Chang An's kitchen against ultimate balance, I anchored the table with dual 100 point perfect vintages, the 2015 Lafite and the 2009 Petrus, using their spectacular roasted duck as a canvas to build experimental, multi meat mixture bites. Left Bank Structural Test: The 2015 Lafite brought a massive and focused tannic spine. I pushed it to another level by combining roasted duck and tender deep-fried beef tongue into a single bite. The result was mind blowing. The dual-fat layer of rendering duck skin and velvety tongue completely melted the Lafite's powerful tannins, transforming a muscle bound 1st growth into pure silk. Right Bank Opulence Test: Bringing in the grand, velvety weight of the 2009 Petrus this time, I created a rich hybrid bite of duck fat and deep fried lamb brisket. The seamless, opulent 100% Merlot texture of this perfect vintage effortlessly embraced the gamey, crispy richness of the lamb without a single harsh edge. I came to see if perfect scores could handle creative culinary boundary pushing, and Chang An's kitchen and these two iconic bottles answered with a resounding YES!!!

Establishment is spacious, clean, and well lit. Staff is professional and attentive. Restaurant is well decorated with Chinese antiques. Food has great presentation, with excellent flavor. I would recommend this restaurant for the experience, as the price is definitely fairly high. TLDR: Excellent service, excellent food, excellent establishment, fair value. Would recommend!

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and we have a lot of favorite dishes here. We have also taken friends and family when they visit from out of town and they have all told us that it's one of the best Chinese/Peking Duck they have ever had. The service is fast, attentive and the ambiance feels inviting and open. Make sure you call ahead to reserve the Peking Duck when making your reservation. You won't be able to order at the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place. We came for the Peking duck and it did not disappoint. The tableside flaming presentation was such a fun touch. The duck skin was thin, delicate, and perfectly crispy, while the meat was tender and juicy. Rolling it in the crepes with the condiments was perfection. They recommended pairing the crispy skin with brown sugar and it was honestly so good. The smoked duck was insanely good on its own. Everything else we tried was great too. The okra dish was really tasty and beautifully plated. The wonton soup was light and delicate, and the golden fish soup was straight fire. The Szechuan beef tasted very authentic with the right amount of heat, and the crispy shrimp was a standout. We ended with dessert and it was worth the wait of 30 mins. The peppercorn ice cream was unique and delicious, and the red bean cake (which takes about 30 minutes) was excellent. We loved all the desserts and every entrée we ordered. Definitely a place we'd come back to.

Ambiance is beautiful seating area and their private rooms are very nice for you to bring guests you want to impress . The service staff is especially attentive and friendly like the led badges that they wear , bold and in your face . Food served in such a setting will taste better for sure . Strip away the fancy decor and black uniformed staff, and the theatrics of table side duck carvings , the food would be like anything you could get in a Chinatown in Monterey Park . If eating is a total experience for you then this place is satisfied the hype . You but you may gripe if awesome tasting food is your type .

"Dear Chang's An Restaurant, I recently had my friend's birthday dinner at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We ordered about six dishes, including a king crab. Some of us drank wine, some drank draft beer -- but the draft beers came out flat, as if spoiled. When guests asked to exchange them, the server Lisa was very upset and refused. After eating the king crab, our plates were full of shells, so I asked for clean plates. She only brought two -- for me and the person next to me -- and left the rest of the table untouched. The new plates came without chopsticks or spoons, and I waited a long time but she didn't care. When she cleared my dirty dishes, she sighed loudly, making her attitude obvious. When one of my friends stood up to complain about the poor service, she argued back loudly and stood with her hands on her hips, leaving us stunned. No one took care of our table -- the food was just brought out and that was it. The whole table was upset; we hadn't even finished dessert and there was still food left, but we didn't want to continue. We left early. Terrible service at a restaurant this upscale. A birthday that should have been joyful ended in frustration, and we felt really sad --

Had a great experience at Taste of Chang'an in Tustin! Nice ambiance! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My favorite dish was definitely the Peking duck -- so flavorful and perfectly done. Highly recommend! Tustin 的品味长安体验很好!低调的奢华设计~服务很不错,食物也很好吃。最喜欢他们家的烤鸭,味道特别棒!很推荐!

One of the best Peking Duck destinations on SoCal for sure. Service here is always great and all the dishes they recommended tasted 10/10. Of courses we were there for the main attraction. Peking Duck!!

The Banh Mi Chao with Filet Mignon came with bite-sized chunks of beef, and the filet was seasoned really well. My only complaint was that some pieces had chewy tendon, which took away from the experience a bit. We also tried the Curry Crab Omelet, which was definitely packed with crab. However, the flavor started to feel a little repetitive after a while, so it wasn't my personal favorite. Overall, Nep Cafe is a cute spot for brunch or a casual meal with friends. The restaurant is located in a large shopping plaza. Although I wouldn't say there's plenty of parking, I was able to find a spot without much trouble. When I first saw the crowd waiting outside, I got a little intimidated and even thought, "Should we just go somewhere else?" Haha. But surprisingly, the wait wasn't that long, and we were seated much faster than I expected. Once we sat down and looked at the menu, I was already impressed! I loved both the variety of dishes and the prices. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I decided to save some for future visits. Haha. We ordered the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), a noodle dish, the Beef Roll, and the Scallion Pancake. The food came out pretty quickly, and we started trying everything one by one. OMG. Everything was SO GOOD!! Honestly, every single dish exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The Beef Roll was especially impressive because it had more beef inside than the ones I've tried at other restaurants. The Xiao Long Bao was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The Scallion Pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside, with that wonderful savory flavor. And the noodles! I can't remember the exact name, but I think it had "Golden" in it? Haha. It had a unique flavor that I'd never experienced before, with a little spicy kick. Even though it was spicy, it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating until the bowl was completely empty! While we were eating, I suddenly thought about my family at home, so I ordered another Beef Roll to go. And here's another thing that really impressed me: **THE SERVICE!** The employee who helped us with the bill was incredibly friendly and pleasant. I was genuinely happy to leave a tip because the service was that good! But what happened afterward impressed me even more. After paying, I went to use the restroom. The hallway leading to it was somewhat narrow, and whenever I passed an employee, they politely stepped aside to let me through first. It might seem like a small gesture, but I really appreciated it. It felt like treating customers with kindness and respect was simply second nature to everyone working there. Great food, wonderful service, AND reasonable prices? What more could I ask for?! Honestly, **why would I go to Din Tai Fung when I have 7 Grams?!** Haha! From now on, whenever I'm craving Xiao Long Bao, 7 Grams will be my first choice! And I definitely have to come back because the dishes I saw on other tables looked absolutely delicious, too. There are still so many things I want to try! **7 Grams, you've officially won me over!**
