My favorite drink is the blue organic margarita - tasty AND pretty. My favorite go-to are the tacos - I've tried the grilled chicken, grilled steak, shrimp and birria - all so good! My favorite is probably the shrimp taco (served in a corn tortilla with fresh avocado, cotija cheese and a cilantro lime mayo). I also love the Maya quesadilla (available with chicken, steak or shrimp) - roasted corn, black beans and more! So we entered and we were walked over to a booth outside where we made our order. I cannot recall what my order was, but I believe it was a chicken fajita and it was absolutely delicious. What about two or three wraps that came attached to it. My friend got the chicken, shrimp and I believe steak bowl. She enjoyed hers as well. The best part about the meal was probably the drinks. Those were super strong and definitely made their way through us as we enjoyed our meal along with conversation. The best part about this restaurant is probably the fact that it was empty/lunchtime at the moment so we were served and taken care of extremely well. We left a generous tip and if I'm ever in the area for Mexican food, I'll certainly be back.

We ordered a Pinot Grigio and a Bacardi and Diet Coke--a request we assumed wouldn't require a treasure map. The bartender then informed us, in so many words, that he wasn't sure what white rum was. He wandered off in search of this mysterious mythical spirit... and was never seen again. I'm assuming he's still out there somewhere, bravely searching the seven seas for Bacardi. After another four minutes of waiting, we decided to make our own great escape. We left thirsty, amused, and wondering if we had accidentally wandered into an improv comedy show instead of a restaurant. One star for the free entertainment. Zero stars for the service.

The overall condition of the place was so unpleasant that simply sitting inside made me feel like I needed to go home and take a shower. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. And a lot of the taquerias like this we went to back in San Diego even operate as drive thrus, so we should be good... Everybody on the restaurant gets their food. Several walk in orders get their food. Still patiently waiting because obviously they called in before we arrived. Then the people who came in after us get their food. Then the grill stops sizzling. Then more people arrive and the grill starts sizzling again. Clearly they have neglected to start our food. We ask about the food and I see them hurriedly start to make my burrito in the kitchen. Definitely forgotten, we finally receive it after waiting 40 minutes. Now we don't have time to eat it because we have to get the kiddos. It smells good though.
