My brother in law heard about this Peruvian restaurant we are familiar with their culinary delights. We started with tostones À la Huancaina smashed green plantains fried topped with Huancaina sauce topped with avocados and cheese. Delicious crunchy outside meaty inside the avocado with the sauce was a winner. If you like ceviche dishes they have many varieties, from traditional to ahí amarillo or rocoto style. They have an extensive menu from ceviche's, Tacu Tacu dishes pasta, seafood, chicken, steak, Rice's, fried whole fish and soups dishes. They have a small wine and beer selection . My chifa seafood an a shrimp rice were both good BEUTIFULLY prepared. Sautéed in chifa sauce with a selection of your protein and vegetables in a fiery wok with a deduction of soy sesame sauce..My wife loved her seafood soup a huge bowl of seafood varieties.Also the jalea mixta was also good , the tress leche cake , and the Lucuma ice cream was amazing loved it's unique sweet taste . Service was good the place was neat and clean simply decorated. I would like to try some other dishes .
Delicious Peruvian cuisine! We stopped by as we were driving through Daytona which was an excellent choice. We got the leche de tigre fish, aji de galina, and the churrasco y frituras. The portions are huge. Every dish is flavorful and prepared with care. The service was great and the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. Would recommend if you are looking for an amazing meal!
Great food! Ceviche had the perfect amount of citrus and the ambiance was great! Not a fishy taste and the servers were very kind and explaining of the menu.

Llegamos poco después de que abrieron y éramos los únicos clientes en el lugar. Elegimos una mesa tranquila en una esquina y realizamos nuestro pedido. Poco después, llegó un grupo de seis personas y, para nuestra sorpresa, la mesera los sentó justo frente a nosotros, ¡a pesar de que el restaurante estaba completamente vacío! ¿Por qué juntar a los clientes cuando hay tanto espacio disponible? No tuvo ningún sentido y pareció una decisión floja o descuidada. Para colmo, el grupo tenía una niña que estaba viendo videos a todo volumen en una tablet y no se quedaba sentada. Arruinó por completo la experiencia tranquila que buscábamos. Esto se pudo haber evitado con un poco de capacitación básica en atención al cliente. Por favor, enseñen a su personal a separar a los comensales, especialmente cuando el restaurante está vacío. Nadie quiere sentirse apretado en un lugar con tanto espacio libre.
I truly believe that food is more enjoyable when it is vibrant and aesthetically pleasing. Everything I tried at Panka was made with love and delicious. I appreciated that the server was eager to help me choose and explain menu items I was unfamiliar with. I am excited that this place is close to me so I can try more of the menu. That pasta with the pesto sauce (Tallarin Verde) is pure comfort food!
This place is a brand new Peruvian place in Ormond. I was a bit excited to see it. Something different and hopefully good. So we came in on a Thursday evening. It was quiet but that's expected for a new place. The menu is a bit large. Front and back, as you can see from the photo. My wife found the churasco streak. My daughter ordered the Lomo saltado. For the child, we got the chicken fingers. And for me, the chaufa de pollo. The rice was good and a huge serving. It was good. The chicken fingers were excellent. Crispy and nicely flavored. The Lomo was good. And the steak was also good. Just a little bit salty, but order it with less salt, and you'll be OK. Many plates come with an egg. We tried to substitute rice for French fries. They didn't understand but finally got what we were asking for. They mixed up the orders a little but fixed it right away. The service was good. The food was good. We had fun why we ate, and when we finished, we danced. That's right. Danced to the music with the little child. I am sure that this place will rock in a few weeks when the word gets out. This is a must try. I recommend it. We will be back real soon.
Okay first and foremost, I am from New Jersey where we have a "Little Lima" in Paterson. Whenever we leave the state we are always searching for quality Peruvian cuisine. We drive anywhere from 45 min to an hour and a half to get Peruvian food when we visit ormond beach every year. Normally we are missing the food back home. NOT THIS TIME!!!! The food here was EXCEPTIONALLY FANTASTIC!! We started off having the ahi de gallna! This normally is not my go to because it is too heavy, that is not the case here! The flavor was spot on and absolutely the best texture, the white rice was SPOT on to the way my mama Lucha would make hers! Stunning presentation! The second dish we had was the tradition ceviche pescado picante. The fish was PERFECT! Tender, tasty, and making us wanting to drink the juice at the bottom. Can I just say, THE BEST SWEET POTATO! I cannot wait to try the other options! After those two dishes we decided to order one more thing, the arroz chaufa de pollo. This is normally the primary indicator of a successful Peruvian restaurant. THIS WAS THE BEST I HAVR HAD! Must get! Everything was right! The wok flavor was there, rice was perfect, fresh and I particularly loved the ingredients. Chicken was tender and so so good. Next time I want to try beef! Overall I need to tell the staff they were fantastic. Friendly and helpful, attentive and knowledgeable! The service was on point. I highly encourage people local and afar to come here if you want to taste the BEST Peruvian food in Florida!!
Did our first takeout order here recently after having an amazing in-restaurant experience. Again, we got the Ceviche Tradicional with fish. Absolutely traveled well and they even separate the crunchy corn so it doesn't get soggy. We also tried something new for us: Lomo Saltado a lo Pobre. They also separated certain ingredients in this dish to ensure quality and it was great. We were so surprised at all the different flavors and how well they melted together and complemented each other. Papa a la Huancaina was also delicious on arrival. I had about a 20 minute drive and everything was still perfect by the time I arrived home. Worth every penny.
This place is a hidden gem. Very authentic food choices and the taste is amazing. All dishes come with huge portions and the staff is very helpful in making the right choice for your dish
Finally got to check this place out and I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent and there's so much selection the service. Was great she knew? Everything about the menu. I would definitely recommend this place. Peruvian food is hard to find good around this area.
I've always enjoyed Peruvian food. I used to go to a few Peruvian restaurants when I lived in south Florida. The ceviche and pisco sour I just had at Panka was better than any recollection from those other Peruvian restaurants. I really enjoyed it. I hope Ormond will come out and support this little gem.

I'm sorry I waited so long to try Panka. It was delicious. We went with friends and they ordered an appetizer with plantains that was so good, though I can't remember the name of it. I ordered the classic ceviche sampler along with the grilled salmon asado. As someone who's a really healthy and conscientious eater, I appreciated how fresh and balanced everything was. The salmon was a huge piece and came with asparagus, potatoes, tomatoes, and broccoli that were all perfectly seasoned, plus two eggs on top and a side of rice. I ate every bite. It was both delicious and nutritious. It's not fancy, just a really great casual place with excellent food. We'll definitely be back. read more

Delicious experience at Panka Ceviche & Grill! Girls dinner out and we shared the Huancaina Yuca appetizer, Pollo Asado and Tacu Tacu W/Aji de Gallina. So excited to find this treasure of a restaurant. Inside is a cute little restaurant with a small bar and plenty of seating for the size. The food was excellent. Service was also great. Severs were very knowledgeable and willing to explain anything. The food was fresh and made to order. We had the trilogy de ceviche seafood (with sea bass, calamari, shrimp and mussels ), pulpo a la parrilla (grilled octopus), and the tallarin verde (pesto pasta) with grilled chicken. The pesto sauce was so creamy and delicious. Just perfect. The chicken was juicy and cooked wonderfully. The octopus was so tender and flavorful and the potatoes and tomatoes paired with it were cooked perfect. All three of the ceviches had different sauces with shrimp, fish and calamari. All three were so yummy. Great flavors. Can't wait to go back again and try more dishes. read more

The food here is fresh, flavorful and unique. I have food allergies and the staff was wonderful with making modifications. I would highly recommend trying this place at least once. You will return! I had the grilled seafood the first time and the fish in an amazing sauce the second time. Friendly staff and the freshest ingredients! read more

The food was amazing to say the least. First time trying authentic Peruvian food and everything came out delicious. The Grilled octopus was very tender and so flavorful. The ceviche was also very fresh. I recommend the potatoes as an appetizer, I think everyone would love it, it was very creamy and melt in your mouth. The cocktails are cheap (mine wasn't very full but it still tasted delicious). The restaurant itself was small and not overwhelming and located in a plaza. However we did go on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all, the service was excellent. 10/10 read more
