This place was hidden and I'm upset I've never noticed it since I drive by it daily ... maybe it's new ? Maybe I'm blind. Cute local spot, that I would definitely go back. I had the shrimp ceviche. Hear me out ... I gag at the thought of raw fish , but love the ceviche flavor. The server was able to find me a compromise, steamed fish and white fish that's cut so small so that the texture doesn't freak me out. They will make it as spicy (or not) as you want. It was so flavorful ! I didn't get a picture , I ate it too quickly I'm sorry .

Relaxed feelings as soon as you enter the door! To enhance it, the waitress immediately greets you with a smile! So many good things: great list of foods (variety containing hamburgers, fish, chicken, pork chops, & steak), a super list of beverages (Kola Champagne, wines, beers, fruity drinks, sodas, & more), and tasty desserts (flan, picarones, etc.)! To top it off, the decor is simple & beautiful!

My hubby and I went to this Peruvian restaurant for lunch yesterday San Valentine's Day. He had Arroz Chifa with Chicken, Ceviche de Pescado and I had a Fried Pargo with white rice and beans. Everything was delicious and my dish cooked according to my diet. The chef is great, Lilly the waitress was as usual, very attentive, humble and serviceable.

Loma Saltado yum. I got the steak medium and it was perfect. Never had ceviche before and it was delicious. Will be back frequently. I MUST ADD both my husband and I commented later reflecting on the meal that the restaurant was SPOTLESS !!! No dust on lights or under the divider glass and the floor didn't feel greasy or sticky. This is a rarity lately due to labor costs having restaurants often struggling. I'll gladly pay more and wait longer to be served this hot delicious food by a fantastically pleasant server !! But honestly the cost was so reasonable. Next time I'm ordering a drink too !!

We started with the mixed ceviche, which was packed with fish, shrimp, and calamari. The mild version was perfect for us, bursting with fresh, zesty flavors. Another highlight was the Jalea fish plate, featuring perfectly fried fish and yuca. The light batter on the fish was incredibly tasty, especially when dipped in the ceviche lemon sauce--simply irresistible. For a special treat, ask for the llomo saltado from their secret menu. This dish, served with rice and French fries, was a standout. We did not have room to try anything else but their chicken looked delicious as well! Brazas has a festive and lively atmosphere with great music adding to the enjoyment of our meal. The place is spotless and well-maintained. Plus, Wendy, the owner, ensured that everything was perfect for us. Brazas is a local gem. Worthy of trying over and over! Make sure you are hungry!!! We will be back for more!

This was just meh. GOOD: Clean place with hearty portions of food. Food is made to order. BAD: Ran out of chicken by 2:30. So I ordered the chaufa with carne. Came out piping hot with high quality beef, but the rice was mushy with little flavor and nothing else in the rice but scrambled egg. . The aji ( green) sauce was just hot without noticeable clean acidic flavor. The hot sauce was hot but had a gritty texture. UGLY: Nothing ugly but nothing to come back for.

Los Andes Restaurant - Tallarines Verdes/green spaghetti, $11. It was ok. Probably needed more seasoning. Wouldn't order again.

I ordered the 1/4 rotisserie chicken with two sides of which I selected a side salad and plantains. I waited maybe 7-8 minutes after ordering for my food to arrive which was not bad. The initial smell was fabulous. The chicken was so tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Some of the best chicken I've ever had.... seriously! The plantains were fried to perfection and so sweet. The side salad was a decent size with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. I'm not sure what the dressing was but it was light, homemade and good. I couldn't resist trying a sweet treat so I oredered an alfajores to go. The cookie was filled with dulce de leche. Yes please! The cookie was soft and sweet but not too sweet. One was all I could eat in one sitting lol. Service was fast and friendly. I'll be back for more deliscious peruvian cuisine!

I've only been to this restaurant back when it was still Corner Bistro Wine Bar, and that was ok…read more According to Yelp archives, it was for Sunday Brunch. Now let's try this new concept here. We decided to sit at the bar and we were handed menus on IPads. Wow, this is different. We can't order on it but it was simply a digital menu. We ordered a few things. For drinks we got the Lula's Blue Pisco (Pisco, blue curacao, coconut cream, agave, like and coconut rum) and a Peruvian Prince (Peruvian Pisco, passionfruit liquor, peach Schnapps, lime, bitters). Both drinks were strong but the Blue Pisco was skrong. We both liked the taste. We later ordered a Mi Amor (7 misterios Mezcal, muddled watermelon, passionfruit, lime). Also strong and I'm not a watermelon person, but it was hard to not enjoy it. For apps, we got the Totstones Achorados (green plantains, mussels, tomatoes, onions, cilantro) and the Chicharron de Atun (seasoned bluefin tuna crackling, fresh housemade guac, fried jalapeno, cambray onion). The Chicharron surprised me as I didn't think the little fish rounds would be such a tasty snack. And the guac was really creamy, not salty. The tostones were impressive. My man said that normally they would be very dry but these weren't. The toppings on them, while not bringing a strong flavor, were cool and refreshing. For entrees, we got the Pulpo A La Parrilla (grilled octopus, fried potatoes, salad) and the Arroz Chaufa with Steak (white rice, eggs, chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, ginger, and sesame oil). The latter is a Peruvian version of Chinese fried rice. This was delicious! The flavors were much stronger and bolder and he could only eat half of it at this point. The rest was taken home and tasted just as good 2 days later. The octopus was great. I didn't think that I would also be getting part of the head with my meal but I was fine with that. I saw some people complain about their octopus being too chewy but I honestly will eat it anyway. I love it. The Peruvian corn that topped it was so sweet and delicious. The side of remoulade I used for everything on my plate as it was a great dipping sauce. We were too full to get dessert and threw in the napkins. The ladies waiting on all of us were so kind and took great care of us. This is definitely a place we will be returning to.

We ordered the fried tuna bites with the guac for our app and it was honestly the best thing we had all night, our meals were blah my snapper was fried extremely hard and beat up (reference photos) the first time had to have them remake it, the second attempt came out looking better but was still overcooked, and the rice was under cooked but plantains were cool. Simply, Amazing!…read more Llama is among the best dining experiences I've ever had. I would give 6 stars if that were possible! The food was super tasty and beautifully presented. My ceviche Classico was fresh, fragrant, and delicious. Pro tip: get the hot peppers on the side. The service was great. Thanks, Alondra. The star of this evening was the immersive and authentic atmosphere. I felt like I could be hanging out at a cafe in Peru. The lady at the bar and two waiters could clearly see us through the windows, yet instead of opening four minutes early, they simply watched us stand there in the rain. When they finally opened, we walked into an empty restaurant. We were literally the first customers there and the place was completely empty. We asked to be seated and were told by the hostess that reservations only were accepted. We then asked if we could at least sit at the bar and eat there, but she said the bar was only for people waiting and no food would be served there. What makes this even more frustrating is that when you drive by, there is nothing indicating reservations are required. We discovered the restaurant while passing through the area and were excited to try it. The flavors may be unique, but the attitude felt unnecessarily pretentious for a restaurant that should make more of an effort to accommodate walk ins, especially when the dining room was empty.
