This is a cute restaurant, with outdoor seating in the Trails shopping center. The service was fine. The food was very good. The ahi tuna appetizer was amazing. The tacos were also very good. I without a doubt will be going back.
I have been on a kick with ordering take out from La Fiesta because of how consistently good everything is. Their queso and camarones la fiesta have been my faves lately. I always enjoy my in-person visits, but it's also nice to have a reliable take out spot for when you need to order delivery or pick up dinner on the way home.
We had two large margaritas, fancy guacamole, and mixed fajitas for two. It was a fun date. The service was attentive, prompt and friendly. The bartender made great drinks and was helpful when we asked questions about the menu. The hostess and staff were professional. The dinner was amazing and a fresh change from some of the other Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Thank you for a great dinner!
We had been here before , I must say the food here is really good from my first time we visited this Mexican restaurant stood out in my mind ..it's a small restaurant , with good service and authentic Mexican food . We started with fresh made guacamole made fresh at table side .. it was delicious, we all tried different plates and we loved all of them, the alambre chicken and steak , the burrito Loco , the carne asada, plater , my brother in law chicken rice bowl and my wife's fajitas mariscados plater with large scallops shirmp peppers onions it was delicious, the rice and the refried beans were also good . They also serve drinks and have outdoor seating quite cute little place we will be back for sure .
I will give them a 5 for food. It was good. The atmosphere was nice. Ate outside. They pulled the blinds down for a little shade. Not much scenery other than the parking lot. I took one star away for friendliness. The hostess not the waiter said two words to us. They just kind of stared. Maybe they didn't speak much English, but they could have at least smiled. So, it was okay, but not someplace I yearn to go back to. Too much other competitors for Mexican cuisine. Making you feel welcome and cared about is 70% of the battle in the restaurant biz.

We came here to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Since we were a large party, we made reservations ahead of time, and our table was ready when we got there. We arrived by bits and pieces, so our server came over each time to get drink orders. I had the skinny margarita and it was excellent. Once everyone had their drinks, our server disappeared for quite some time, and we finally had to ask someone else if they could take our order. Once the order was placed, food came out quickly. I went with my standard Mexican order of fajitas, trying the chicken since they didn't offer an all shrimp order. The portions were huge, and the fajitas were decent, but actually lacking flavor. We also had to wait for them to bring out the tortillas after everyone had their food. All in all a good experience, although I was disappointed they didn't do anything for my Mom's birthday.
Amazing. Meal to remember. Queso fundido has chihuahua cheese, not some sauce, and very solid chorizo. The showstopper was the Molcajete. If you've never experienced, go there, order it, and savor every bite...huge portion too. Lunch the next day still floored me. My new favorite Mexican in Florida.
La Fiesta is a solid Mexican restaurant located in Ormand Beach that satisfied us before we made our way back to West Palm Beach. I am a fan of the Enchiladas Rancheros, which was delicious and filling. The queso dip was also incredibly creamy and tasty. But would have helped if we had small plates to eat over so the dip wouldn't go everywhere. The service was prompt and attentive overall. We received our orders fairly quickly. Parking is plentiful in the part of the plaza that is located. La Fiesta is a good spot to enjoy Mexican cuisine.
Everything was good, the food was well cooked and the waiter was polite. The place has nice atmosphere and the bathroom is nice and clean. 4/5 because drinks were mid
I had the Shrimp bowl. I highly recommend it. It had guacamole, black beans, rice, tomato, crumbled cheese, shrimp and two cheese stuffed flat bread pieces. The chips were fresh, not greasy and the salsa was good. Everything is authentic and homemade. I had a lightly salted margarita on the rocks. It was great and they use pure agave instead of sour mix. I asked for light on the agave and extra limes. There are so many Mexicans restaurants but a few locals pointed me to this one because everything is so fresh. read more

Service was a bit slow, that might be why my food came out literally room temperature. Both girls that waited on me very nice but when I asked for to go containers letting them know I'd take it home to heat up it was literally 10 minutes before I got the containers. I asked for a ranch water and the confusion on the gentlemans face was funny and instead of checking or even using Google to find the recipe he just said no, so I asked for a martini nope dont make those either, I settled with tea. I ordered chicken tortilla soup light on the tortilla strips, it came out the same time as the meal, tons of tortilla strips and at most it was warm. The chille reno was so cold the cheese was firming back up, beans and rice both room temperature. The salsa was good and if the food would have been hot by the taste it would have been a good meal. They dropped the ball by not looking up a simple drink recipe and serving cold food. I might revisit but I wouldn't take guests there until they work out a few things. read more

Busy little Mexican place in downtown Ormond Beach just off Nova Avenue. We waited a bit for seats, but it was Thanksgiving week. We enjoyed a pitcher of delicious red sangria, a skinny picante margarita, freshly chunky guacamole and street corn before we ordered dinner. The sangria had a ton of fresh fruit mixed in. We had a great efficient waiter. We ordered the beef taco shots, chicken rice bowl, loco burrito and steak quesadilla. All were delicious, seasoned well and in large portions. Chips were fresh and salsa yummy. Fun place, check it out! Located in shopping center with lots of parking. read more

Even tho this Restaurant is 20 miles from home, I WILL be back! I gauge a great Mexican restaurant by several things. The first is the quality of salsa and chips. The salsa is excellent!! I also enjoy a nice outside eating area when weather is good and this place has that even though it's in a shopping center. Sara, my server, was very pleasant and helpful! It was lunch and I didn't want to get unpleasantly stuffed so just got a taco and chili relieno. For a simple selection, the chef really takes pride in his work. The taco was stuffed with shredded beef among other items. The chili relieno was probably the best I have had. The refried beans were attractively served in a small bowl, NOT a brown splat on the plate AND they had good flavor too! I'm thinking this is not your typical Mexican restaurant. You should try it out!! read more

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but I must say this food was delicious. Everything from the appetizers all the way down to the desserts were prepared to perfection. It was so good that my family and I ordered another round of food. Service was phenomenal. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we understood everything that was on the menu. Because I come from a Mexican Family I tend to judge, Mexican restaurants harsher than others so trust me when I say, this is definitely worth every penny. read more
This is the most modern/upscale Mexican restaurant I have been to in a long time. It was taco Tuesday so the place was packed, but our waitress was amazing. The only reason I'm knocking a star is the chips weren't hot and fresh. There was tons of salsa and ranch dip which was yummy. The tacos were on special for $3 and 4$ and were unique and fresh! I got a battered fish taco and a skirt steak with a cheese shell. So good! Margaritas were on special and were yummy as well! read more

This place was recommended to us when we asked about real Mexican Food in Ormond Beach. You might not be aware but its not easy to find real authentic Mexican food anywhere is Florida. La Fiesta Mexican Cocina is more Mexican fusion food but that is not necessarily a bad thing. La Fiesta Mexican Cocina is an upscale restaurant as far as Mexican cuisine goes and its bright and south of the border decor does nothing to suggest otherwise. It is also a popular place. They make some of the best margaritas in town; large, full of tequila, very potent, and won't break your wallet. The chips and salsa that they serve are homemade and presented hot and fresh. And the food, especially for lunch is plentiful and affordable. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn that was really good and authentic. We developed a taste for this when we visited San Diego and Mexico, The ceviche was also very good. Bits of fish and shrimp naturally cooked in lime juice and served with more chips. The appetizers were very well prepared but it was the entrees that really stood out. I had the Carnitas which was pork shoulder marinated in beer that was sensational. It was tender and succulent, the meat which was slow cooked fell away with my fork. I'm not sure what dish that my partner had but I included a photo of it and it was simply delicious. The restrooms were both very modern and spotless clean. The waitresses and servers all wore masks and gloves while we were in the socially distanced dining room La Fiesta Mexican Cocina is a wonderful restaurant which offers great food with wonderful service. We will certainly be back. read more

Another great trip to La Fiesta! Wonderful, quick service! We shared the goat cheese jalapeños and the chicken and spinach enchiladas - both were fresh and tasty! Our server, Luis, was super sweet and attentive. All staff was really good with my one year old. Bathrooms were freshly cleaned. A+! read more

I come here a couple times a week! Strong drinks and good vibes. Best chips and salsa around. The avocado salsa with the taco shooters is so good! My go to are the quesadillas and the fajitas but recently I've been liking the chipotle tacos. Mostly good service, I've only had an issue one time. read more
So much better the second time around! I came on a Wednesday night which was a lot less crowded. We got our choice of any table outside which was nice. Like always, service was exceptional. Our waitress checked on us and re-filled water & chips when needed and didn't even have to ask. I ordered the regular house margarita which was delicious. The first time around, I think I got the "skinny" by mistake which is made with a special type of tequila for less calories and smaller portion. If you get the regular house margherita it is so much better, and even cheaper! The guacamole is always a must, so we ordered that as well. For my entree I ordered a salad which had a lot of fresh fruit, and generous portion of shrimp. I think I got at least 10 pieces, and they were not small! read more
