I absolutely loved their chicken soup. It had a lot of pulled chick pieces some red peppers bits. Some carrots would be good I didn't ask. I requested no nacho chips in mine, no sprinkled cheese and no salt. They said they use no oil in the soup which is great They don't use a microwave at all I didn't realize the soul would be in a sturdy plastic bowl and it was super hot. I typically don't mix plastic with really hot things but that was all they had. I would get it again and get it to go cold in a plastic take out container. Or bring you own bowl! I also had the veggie egg wrap. It was good but definitely say light on the cheese if you are conscious. Everything looked amazing and I will. Make it a regular spot to go to. It's over looks the beach in Flagler. They were super accommodating and I'm very fussy. I went back for dinner. Chicken soup without the nachos or cheese. We stopped by Dulce De Leche in Flagler Beach this morning and had a fantastic breakfast! Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and ordered at the counter. I opted for the Papa Relleno (potato balls) with a side of rice and beans, while my wife chose scrambled eggs and Cuban bread. The food arrived quickly, and I dove in first - WOW! The papa relleno was perfectly fried, with outstanding flavor. The black beans and rice were expertly prepared, and my wife raved about her eggs and the flavorful Cuban bread. This place is incredible! It's a cozy unassuming place right across from the beach. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We stopped in for desserts and coffee- cafe con leche (well made), flan (the best I have ever had, even in PR/Mexico), Coffee Tres Leches (delicious) and a guava and cheese pastry (warm and filled beautifully). These desserts were so delicious we went back the next day for lunch. This is a hard review because I'm having to compare to the area because As a coffee shop in general or Cuban cafe it's like 1-2 stars but considering the area and who they cater to it's like 3-4 but then I take the quality of flavor of the coffee and the traditional cafe con leche and it's just not there then I had a cortado and it was like lava which was to burn your taste buds so the actual flavor of coffee could not be tasted it was like a dirty water coffee. Even my Chicago friends didn't like and others preferred driving the distance to the Seattle coffee shop The croqueta was ok not the best but not worst. I was able to eat it. We generally make an annual winter pilgrimage to Florida to sit by the ocean. Part of this year's leisurely drive back to GA, we found the Dulce de Leche Cafe. It boasts authentic Latin cuisine (Cuban, Mexican) and is right on A1A. Parking is sparse, but it's worth it. This little gem has been open for about a year and based on comments from other diners, is the real deal. We put in our order and were startled by how quickly the food arrived. My order was the "Masitas de cerdo combinación" combo, DH had the Cuban sandwich combo. My pork was unctuous fried heaven that was expertly accompanied by rice beans and fried plantain. DH loved his so much looked up from his food once he started. I'd love for them to be open when we return next season, so I encourage you to go and give them a try. read more

Small tables, the largest I think sat 4, very friendly service (gracias Paco), and just a cool little hang out. I had the Ropa Vieja on this visit and The Boss had a wonderful omlette. They offer a ton of Cuban and Puerto Rican platters, killer sandwiches, burritos, tamales and a heck of a choice of pork, carnitas, sausage, steak, shrimp and Tex Mex tacos, soups, sides and choice of cafecitos.. They were horrible they never gave me the hot chocolate I ordered and paid for every time I asked the lady would tell me two more minutes after waiting for 40 minutes in the hot chocolate I walked out and the lady who kept telling me two more minutes watched me walked out and didn't even say nothing she just stared me down food was great but horrible customer service much room for improvement read more
