Dr. Usleman is wonderful! He was warm and friendly and made sure that I was well taken care of. My prescription hadn't changed but he still walked me through the overall health of my eyes and what to look out for now that I'm pregnant. Who knew that your eyes can change with all these hormones? I didn't wait at all. You can download the new patient forms on their website to speed things up, as well. They accept VSP which was important to me, but even better was knowing that I received a high level of care! I definitely recommend Central Phoenix Eye Care! read more

I found this place on Yelp and saw the great reviews. Needless to say I expected a lot. And everyone of my expectations were met over and above. What a great staff and Doctors. I can't say enough about this group; their attitudes, their helpfulness and they're all so friendly. If you need an eye exam, glasses and or contacts, you must go to this office. You will be so happy you did. read more

This is the best eye care anywhere. Whether you go for a check up or an emergency they are highly competent. My whole family goes here with wonderful results. read more

I was in Phoenix for a trip for a week and a half when I lost a contact the first night of my trip. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to pack an extra pair. Central Phoenix Eye Care was so helpful and allowed my optometrist at home to fax over my prescription, and gave me a trial contact so I wouldn't be half blind for the rest of the week. Thank you Central Phoenix Eye Care!! read more

I never thought I would actually enjoy a Dr's visit. Dr. Mastores is wonderful. Enthusiastic and caring. The staff is all great, too. Love this place. read more

Everyone here is so friendly! I saw Dr Usleman and he was very thorough with my exam! I will definitely return!

This is, by far, one of my favorite places in AZ to give my business to and I am happy that they are local. They are so friendly, beyond helpful, and truly care about making the patient happy. I have gotten 3 pairs of glasses here and always have a great time picking them out with the staff. Matt is especially great and entertains my annoying ways of picking out glasses... It takes me forever!! I love how all the staff gives their honest opinions on what looks best on me. I will come here time and time again and will refer everyone I know to Central Phoenix Eye Care. In a day where excellent customer service has been taking a back seat, it's nice to know that some people still value it like me!! Thank you- you guys are the best!!! read more

The staff is very nice and Dr. Usleman was thorough. Although the first prescription he gave me was no bueno, I went back in (twice -- he even squeezed me in early on a Saturday), and my second prescription seems to be doing the trick! read more

Wonderful experience! All the staff is beyond helpful and great to work with from start to finish. They're very thorough and knowledgeable.

My whole family loves Central Phoenix Eye Care! Dr. Mastores was wonderful with my 4 year old and my 2 year old. She was gentle and kind with them. She was able to get a thorough exam without any issues. I would definitely recommend her for eye issues in children. I use her too and love her demeanor. read more

I was so sad to leave my eye doc when we moved from Idaho. I never thought if find a place as wonderful as I had at home. Let me tell you, this place is amazing and just as good if not better than my eye doc back home! The ladies are so sweet and the eye doc is awesome! read more

Top notch all the way, Friendly professional staff, easy to book appointment. Dr. Uselman spent a good deal of time explaining and answering questions. I recommend without hesitation. read more

Salezy, expensive and the wait times to be seen are out of control. BUT, this team, these docs are first rate, thorough, and skilled. You can do no better. Five stars for everything. But just make sure you are a patient patient, you have time to wait, bring a sweater, it's cold in there. Nice clean rooms, absolutely love the docs and staff. read more

Best eye doctor visit ever! These guys are amazing. The front office staff could not be more perfect- kind, helpful, attentive. Dr. Benjamin Usleman is undoubtably the best. He found the exact cause of what had been going on with my eyes since I was a young girl. He fitted me with the right glasses and sent me off with exercises to work at home. They are all so invested in getting it right. I can not say enough about this amazing office! read more

I love Central Phoenix Eye Care. They give the most thorough eye exam, by far. They even take a picture of the inside of your eyeball and show it to you on a computer screen. It's pretty cool if you're into human anatomy. read more

Very friendly staff. Dr Usleman was extremely courteous and excellent bedside manners. Great selection of glasses that are quick to have filled. read more

A small selection of glasses, expensive, not an over friendly staff. I walked in the other day looking to fill a prescription. I looked around at t but no one asked if I needed help or questions. I left. There are many places in Phoenix to get glasses. read more

This was my first visit to Central Phoenix Eye Care since moving to Phoenix - and I'm glad I found them. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I had an appointment with Dr. Stephanie Mastores - I didn't have to wait later than my appointment time, and felt very positive about the exam quality and the way I was treated. It was a great experience. read more

It is always wonderful to leave a great review for a doctor since it feels like they are rare. Dr. Kantor is among the best I've seen-ever! I've been a patient for years. The early years of contacts, then lasik, and now middle age, Dr. Kantor has seen me through many stages. His office is so clean and up to date with technology. The office staff is also the best-friendly, efficient, and professional. Dr. Kantor is extremely knowledgeable and stays current. His patient education is fantastic and he truly cares about you. I have never felt rushed and always feel like I have his undivided attentionl read more

The front desk people are so amazing every time I go in. They're always upfront with what will cost extra and not pushy to sell extra examinations on you. Dr. Uselman is so laid back and honest in trying to help me see the best I can (another eye doctor I went to in AZ was awful and just wanted me in and out). I'm from a small town and have had the same eye doctor since I was little. After 3 years of searching, I can finally say that Dr. Uselman is my guy who I'll stick with as long as I can. I recommend Central Phoenix Eye Care to anyone!! read more

Relatively new to the Phoenix area and was looking for an eye doctor. As I often do when looking for a referral, I turned to Yelp. Central Phoenix Eye Care had received several 5 star ratings and much positive feedback from prior patients. I was treated with the utmost professionalism and care by all of the staff in which I interacted - very friendly and welcoming environment. I am happy to say I have found my new eye doctor. read more

Sadly, this office has gone significantly downhill over the past couple of years! They've lost perspective that patients are customers.

This group is the BEST! I had a 'not so good' experience with one of the 'other eye docs here in town but have found a total different experience with Central Phoenix Eye Care - the best I've seen! Dr. Stephanie Mastores listened, discussed my options and for the first time in my life, I can now wear contacts! And the staff, phenomenal. In fact, I ordered two 30 packs of contacts this morning and Carol from the front desk just called me to ask if it was okay that she ordered the 90 pack for me instead - for only a $1 more. They were looking out for MY pocketbook - love it! I went there because of the YELP reviews and I had to YELP myself. They are THE eye-care center I would recommend above all. read more

All doctors should take a lesson from this organization, relative to providing client service! From making the appointment to finishing the visit, you will never complain about the way you were treated! This is definitely a first class, caring operation. read more

Dr. Steven Kantor is a great Dr and person. Our family has known him for over 30 years but we now live far away. If your in need of a great man to help with your eyes go to him today. read more

I brought my daughter in for an eye exam. Dr Kantor was very thorough and the office staff were all very friendly. I ended up making an appointment for myself. I saw Dr Frank. He took the time to help me understand the exam and what was going on with my vision. He was also very thorough. I had a lot of questions and he patiently spent his time explaining all the answers. Then when it was time to pick out glasses I received even better service. Matt was able to help me find the right frame for my face. I have a hard time deciding what looks good. I am confident that he helped me make the right choice. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Mastores 2 - 3 years and I am completely satisfied. I went to a few different eye doctors around the valley before I settled on her. She is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loves the work she does. The office staff is fantastic, as well. They are a bit more expensive than the eye exam mills, but definitely worth it. read more

I cannot express enough how much I loved Dr. Koster taking care of me. I always get anxious about my eye exams, and she put me at ease. She is so kind and thorough and actually sits down to talk and explain your health to you. The office staff is so friendly and the office is clean and well kept. I will always be a patient of Dr. Koster and recommend her to everyone! read more

I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Mastores at Central Phoenix Eye Care. She is the one who helped me figure out why my eyes were so itchy after having to switch to disposable contact lenses. I apparently was having a reaction to the silicon in all the various disposable contact lenses I had tried. I had resorted to wearing my glasses most of the time because I couldn't go a whole day without wanting to start rubbing my eyes by early afternoon. After switching me to a non-silicon lens, I am back to wearing my contacts comfortably all day and into the evening. I would highly recommend her! The staff are also super friendly and I feel very fortunate in having found this office for my eye care! read more

Appointments easy to schedule, friendly and helpful staff, Dr. always straight forward and answers all vision questions. Never disappointed with service or glasses selections. Love CPEC !!! read more

In searching for a new eye center in central phoenix, I decided on Central Phoenix based on the yelp reviews and I was so happy I did. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they have the most up to date equipment and since they don't work on commission, you don't get expensive eye glasses pushed on you. I wear progressive lenses, and the best part is that I love, love , love my new lenses. By far the most accurate prescription I have had, and I have worn progressives for several years. read more

I saw Dr. Mastores. She was so friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was as incredible as she was. It's a little pricier compared to other doctors I've seen on the same insurance plan, but so worth it! I will continue to go here from now on. read more

This place is great! I'm glad I found it through Yelp! I came in for an eye exam and possibly new glasses. Note--the entrance is around the back, not in front like the other offices in the building. Anyway, the gals at the front desk were friendly. When I said I had an appointment, they looked and told me it was for the next week. Oops! My mistake (I guess). Anyway, they gave me paperwork to fill out and went to see if they could squeeze me in. They got the okay, and the technician, Laurie, put me through a number of painless tests. She was friendlly and efficient. Next I got examined by the doctor, Dr. Mastores. She is probably the nicest doctor I ever met (probably good with kids). She was also very efficient and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain, with a picture they took of my eye and a plastic model, some issue with my eye. It was something that I had for years but no other eye doctor had taken the time to really explain it. I appreciated that. She also gave me some samples for dry eyes. While I was waiting for my eyes to dilate for another test, I worked with a helpful optician in the office to find some frames for sunglasses. He offered some tips and I wound up ordering from them. They said it would take a week. All this examination plus the glasses cost only a little over $100 with insurance. I thought that was pretty good! I definitely would recommend this practice to anyone! read more

This place can basically go fuck themselves. I received a call on my cell phone to confirm my Fri afternoon appt. I called back and confirmed. The next day I drove into Phoenix for my appt and called to see if I could get it moved up any earlier and I could not. That is understandable. I showed up at 3:30 for my appt and was told the computers were down and nothing was going to happen. They said they tried to call me but the phone number they had was incorrect. Why did they not call me on the cell number they used to confirm my appt on Thurs???? All I got was a were sorry and would you like to reschedule. How about a "fuck no" was my answer. I was pissed, if the computers went down 2 hours before I showed why was there an entire staff hanging out and patient still in the lobby. It's convenient that my appt was cancelled on a Friday afternoon. Now that I had some reflection on the situation I am the dumbass to schedule an appt on Friday afternoon all the away in Phoenix when I live in Avondale. It was my fault to think I could get some decent service from a doctor that I have been going to for the past 5+ years. What the fuck right? What the Fuck was I thinking? Thanks for the service or lack off. Once again I was in the wrong, but you can still go fuck yourself. read more

I am not sure I can say more than has already been said. I loved Dr. Heather, and when she left I was saddened beyond words. But then I met Dr. Mastores and realized there was life after Heather. The thing is, EVERYONE here is nice! My husband and son go here as well, I converted him over soon after we started dating. It was so easy...the service and the one stop shopping. Just stop in and say Hello and you won't want to leave. read more

Superior customer service. Dr. Thompson did a great Job, good selection on frames.

Excellent eye care, friendly staff, clean and quiet office, great selection of frames.

This is a very nice office with friendly staff and a very clean environment. The office itself is bright and open and very ascetically pleasing. Besides the look, the staff is very friendly and smart. I got right in for my exam and the tech quickly took me through all the various tests and was very friendly. I only waited about five minutes for the doctor to come complete my exam. Dr. Stephanie was very friendly and knowledgeable and very compassionate which I appreciate very much. This is a great Eye care facility and I will definitely come back and recommend to friends. read more
