Stopped by to look at new sunglasses a week and half before Black Friday. Didn't see any sales advertised, so assumed they hadn't started. The store clerk didn't offer much info or help, just said to let him know if I needed anything. Looked at some sunglasses, found ones I liked and waited until Black Friday to order online. This Sunglass Hut location is by far the most superior of all of locations in the valley due to Vanessa's professionalism and A+ customer service. She helped me select my current favorite pair of Ray Bans and also helped me return a pair I bought on line 40 minutes before the store even opened as she saw me with a return and opened early to help me! Vanessa delivers the kind of next level customer service that all business owners wish their employees would strive for. As a small business owner I am truly impressed but how great a job she does. I am not one to typically write bad reviews, but my experience today was unlike anything I have experienced. I had placed an order online, and had it delivered to the store for pickup. I got a voicemail letting me know that my order was ready for pickup in store, so I went ahead and planned to pick it up 2 days later (today). I arrived at the store at 11:10am, after checking online that the store opened at 11am. The door was locked, lights off. I sat outside the store for probably 45 minutes, hoping an employee would show up. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I went ahead and ran all my other errands and decided to try again later in the day. Door was still locked and dark 2 hours later. Also mind you, I attempted to call the store phone number 4+ times. I called a different location in the area, just to see if the hours were listed incorrectly online, or what the situation might be, if I could pick my item up at a different location, etc. The other location was super helpful, and I got a call from the manager saying they were on their way to open the Desert Ridge store up, and apologized. So, I now arrive at this location for a THIRD time in the same day, and the store is finally open. I was able to pick up my item, but not one time did the sales associate apologize to me, or offer any kind of discount or compensation for my time and inconvenience. Never again will a purchase be made here. read more

One of the best sunglasses shops I've ever been to! Roberto went above and beyond when I came in to buy new glasses for my mom and myself. As I was about to toss my old favorite sunglasses, he stopped me and asked if I really wanted to do that. Turns out I could get replacement lenses! I had no idea. I walked out with a new pair and the great news that I could extend the life of my favorite glasses. Sam and Spencer also helped me during the process and they were just as amazing. Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely care about their customers. You can tell this store hires people who love what they do. Bought the latest pair of Fashion Ray Bans for my wife on December 22nd, 2025 for my wife for Christmas. I watched them fall apart in her hand as she was gently folded the stems to walk into church on February 8th. A washer had fallen off the glasses. I brought them into to Sunglass Hut in Desert Ridge for repair (where I bought them). I was told that it would take 5 to 7 business days for the parts to arrive. After 2 1/2 weeks there was no communication so I called and was told that parts were delayed due to the snow storm in New York. I waited another 2 weeks and went into Sunglass Hut today 3/8/2026 to be told that the order for the part was randomly cancelled without notifying me. I asked why and was given some lame, non-sensical excuse. I then asked for an exchange for a new pair and was told it would be a $40.00 copay. Co-pay for a defective pair of sunglasses that my wife barely had a little over a month to wear??? I asked the Manager if bad Yelp and Google reviews were worth $40.00 and He said "It's up to you!" So here we are waiting for another 2 weeks for a simple washer to repair the glasses. Guess what...I do not bluff when it comes to poor attitudes and poor customer service. read more

Guy was cool and didn't try overselling me anything. I wanted the Meta Glasses and he helped me figure out what I wanted which were the Gen 2 Wayfarer Matte Black clear to green gradient in a large size. Well the store didn't have my size no big deal so he told me the one in arrowhead did. I drive to arrowhead and they don't have them. These are glasses, like be completely specific in what you are doing and selling. I understand he probably thought it wouldn't matter but if you're telling someone "they have them" be specific in what you're telling the customer they have. He told me the arrowhead had 8 of them. Very annoying and a total waste of time idk I think his name was Vince or Spencer and had blonde or dirty blonde slick back hair. read more

Spencer was wonderful! I had already been to another Sunglass Hut trying to get my Maui Jim's repaired. He went above and beyond and replaced a missing screw. He checked both sides, tightened everything just right, checked the fit and cleaned my glasses! Thank U! read more

This location is my favorite. Vanessa is a rock star. She has incredible product knowledge, and her instincts for styles matching face shape and structure is uncanny. She is simply amazing. The location is convenient and the inside is clean and welcoming. read more

Avoid this location at all cost, we bought a pair of Tiffany sunglasses June 2020 and the piece that goes around your ear on one side became loose (glue likely weakened) Sunglass hut policy "You have high standards; we have high standards. If your sunglasses are defective within 24 months of purchase, we'll replace them" the item was manufactured defective! We also purchased the protection plan that was for 13 months but that's for damage that you actually cause NOT manufacture defect! He then proceeded to try and fix it by heating up the metal and at that point I knew this guy was clueless and he made it worse and bent the actual frame leading up to the piece that goes around your ear! He then stated that we would have to send them to Tiffany which I responded this is your policy this is what it states and you send it back for them to assess it if that's the case! Needless to say this imbecile was incompetent of how things work so we went to the Scottsdale location and we were helped exactly to the Sunglass Hut policy! read more

Disaster. Horrible customer experience. I just went to redeem a warranty on my sunglasses. I was then charged THREE times for one purchase and Oscar and Gabrielle refused to take any responsibility for their part. Huge mess. They blamed their machine, never once truly apologized. My husband and I had to call our bank while in the store with our three small children to verify purchase had properly been corrected. Big hassle. Bad experience. Will know now to buy from Nordstroms - they have a better warrenty anyway. Nordstroms will replace frames without questions 100% - as opposed to Sunglass Hut one year/50% policy. Just FYI. read more

Their return policy of don't ask don't tell A.K.A. no questions asked return policy was not really true. Instead of just sure I was asked too many questions on why I did not want to keep the sunglasses. Rather uncomfortable feeling for the experience. read more
