This time, I got pushed a bit out of my comfort zone. Instead of my usual conservative rectangles, my post-chemo hairstyle has given me more of an edgy look that really required something to complement it. Between my daughter and Jessica, we found a ("you gotta be kidding", "these are too wild for someone my age") pair that grew on me the longer I wore them. The small boutique is located at the Biltmore Fashion Park in the Union Shopping center. There are a wide variety of styles to choose from so even the pickiest shoppers can find something to fit their face. I have to say this not your ordinary sunglasses store because they offer brands, styles (including vintage) and colors I have not seen in the valley. For a person who has a large collection of sunglasses I was highly impressed with the brands they carried and the selection to choose from. Living in the valley of the sun it is important for me to protect my eyes. It is nice to know I have a new local store to help keep me healthy while looking trendy. The eye doctor and staff are super competent, positive, and engaging. They listen, remember, and they smile. I have a slight obsession with eye glasses so the insane designer selection is wonderful.. Some of the brands they carry are available in a couple of places in the US.. A perfect interaction from start to finish! I emailed Framed Ewe looking for a Jacque Marie Mage frame and I received a response that night. Jenn gave me the rundown about the frames I wanted and was straight forward from the start about the probability of getting them. She kept me in the loop regarding shipments through the night and first thing in the morning, so that I was able to get a pair! They express shipped them (at no charge) and I got them in no time - despite the nightmare that is USPS right now. Setting up an appointment online was a breeze, communication for how to handle everything due to COVID was clear and easy to follow, so it really made everything simple and stress-free. My experience in store was wonderful. It's bright and clean, and very welcoming. It's a shared space with the shop "next door" and it makes for a cool environment. Jordin helped me out with my frames (fitting, lenses, etc.) and she is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process even better than to begin with. She's also super sweet and made it a very personal experience. Plus it's always nice to go somewhere and work with people who believe in/wear their products and give honest and opinions and tips about them. I've been wearing glasses for the last 15 years and I think this was one of the best experiences I've had from start to finish. Choosing frames is always a struggle for me, and I always regret my choice. Jordin, who helped me on my first visit was quickly able to present me with several options I was happy with. Within minutes we narrowed my choices down to a pair I was thrilled with. I opted for the free eye exam to refresh my prescription and Dr. Hoppert was fantastic and exceptionally knowledgeable. For the last year I've struggled with my glasses. The prescription never felt right, I constantly took them off due to eye fatigue--it turns out the last optometrist made a critical but common error on my prescription. Dr. Hoppert explained the mistake to me and showed me how the other optometrist made that mistake. She also took the time to fine tune my prescription for my line of work (graphic design), and to go over the health and anatomy of my eyes in depth. I was so happy with my frames and prescription I decided to come back and purchase a second pair. Coral, the staff member I worked with on my second visit, provided excellent service as well and now I have two great pairs of glasses I can alternate between. I cannot recommend Framed Ewe highly enough. They stock excellent, fashionable frames and everyone I've dealt with there has gone out of their way to be helpful and kind. If you are a fan of cool, trendy, upscale glasses -- you have come to the right place. The designers are all unique and extraordinary. I went in because I love Moscot frames (as well as the Moscot history) but left in a pair of fantastic Ahlems. The service is also what you would expect from a boutique of this ilk. Jordin and Lisann were beyond fantastic. I was in the shop on two occasions. I am a hard fit and quite picky. I tried on just about every frame they carried. Both Jordin and Lisann are knowledgeable, fun, and creative, always looking for the best frame to suit one's style and specific needs. The enthusiasm they bring to their job is infectious. Framed Ewe uses Shamir lenses in their glasses. I am quite impressed. I have other high-end designer frames and lenses, and I have to say, Shamir progressive lenses are my favorites. I highly recommend this wonderful shop if you have a desire to step away from the mass-produced frames you will find at the national chains. Attention to Detail-5 stars!! I have shopped in several eyewear shops in the valley and hands down the Framed Ewe experience and product is superior. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Having an appointment, where you are the only customer and have time to browse all the choices as well as knowing everything was sanitized was important to me. I let the knowledgeable staff, Jessica and Lisann pick out frames that suited my face after a discussion as to what I wanted in a sunglass. The choices were phenomenal, the fitting was exceptional, and the goodie bag was more than generous. Instead of a little swatch of microfiber, Ewe gives you microfiber that you can wrap your glasses in as well as a 14 x 14 microfiber to clean your glasses. The  prescription was spot on and the choices of lens colors was fantastic.These are custom glasses made for you. Modern, high quality, perfect.
