I got my glasses from them about a year ago went fine and so I wanted to get my glasses from them again when in my prescription was expired whatever got a new prescription how to get new glasses. The lady took absolutely forever when I told her I was on a time crunch, kept trying to pressure me into buying things that I didn't need for my glasses kept trying to buy me another pair when I kept telling her I was just a broke college kid needing to see ended up making me pay $200 and added on all of these things that I didn't say yes to including insurance, which I never agreed to told her I was in a time crunch continued to take her sweet time making me late for work. I tried to call and see when my glasses are going to be completed. They don't pick up ever they don't answer their phone. read more

My friend had referred me to eye glass world after I complimented her on her glasses and told her the awful experience I always have at target. I went in today, picked my glasses and was called up to check out the lenses I wanted. I worked specifically with Kelsea at the cactus location in phoenix, Arizona and she was absolutely amazing. Not only is she approachable but she genuinely loves what she does and it shows. She was so kind to everyone she interacted with in the store and she was so relatable. I saw her ring she had on which was a cat chasing it's tail and I commented on how cute it is. We got to chatting about our cats while she priced out my lenses and I shared that my cat had passed away earlier this week. Once all was said and one and I had paid, she took her ring off and handed it to me and said I could have it. I had to fight tears back at just how caring Kelsea was. She deserves to be recognized and given a raise if possible. Of all the eyeglass places I have been to, she has been the best experience ever. She was so helpful in ensuring they were able to fill my daughter's complex prescription (they have their lab in-house) and were able to fill her prism prescription. I recently visited Eyeglass World at Cactus by Target. I walked into the store and was not greeted or acknowledged. There were 3 people sitting at their desks without a customer and a few were on their phones. I continued to browse giving them the benefit of the doubt yet not one person working in that store asked me if i needed help. However, as i was browsing, a mother and daughter walked into the store and they were greeted kindly and asked if they needed help. I left after 30 minutes in the store to go elsewhere. If this is the level of service you offer your customers (none in my case) then I did not want to spend my money there. I would not go back nor would i recommend this company to anyone. Customer service speaks volumes and this particular establishment lacks in this area. read more

Pause. Take a step back for a moment and regain perspective. You may be getting caught up in the situation to the point where you cannot see out of it. Pause. Reflect. And also, it could be my case where you recently discovered you needed glasses to see the world with a different perspective. Having had Lasik, I wasn't in need of glasses until recently. After being hospitalized with adult onset diabetes, it changed my vision. You have to let the optometrist know that as well because in that situation, your vision will adjust again as you adjust to taking insulin. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the same day. The receptionist was so kind in filling out the forms for me since my eyes were swollen and I could not see clearly or close. Without vision insurance, this was pretty reasonable for both the exam and glasses. If you do get the pupils dilated, definitely bring a designated driver otherwise you will be driving Helen Keller style on the streets, not recommended. You can't beat the pricing they offer, especially if you're in a pinch and need glasses quick. Generally they can get glasses done same day or next day. Mine took longer because I needed driving and reading glasses. The selection of frames is pretty extensive, even for the deal of two for $78. The sales staff is not overly pushy or aggressive. I wasn't needing to invest a ton since my vision is subject to change. I would definitely come back if I need to readjust my prescription. You can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see. The moment you change your perception is the moment you rewrite your story. Your perspective will either become your prison or passport. Personally I am all about seeing the goodness out there with these new glasses. It certainly helps when my vision is on point now. read more

My optometrist was awesome! I wanted to make sure that he could be the one I see annually but he was actually covering for another optometrist; I can't remember his name but he floats around various Eyeglass World locations throughout the valley when they need coverage. Look for the guy with the Elvis belt buckle!!! Lol that's him! That's who you want!!! Okay, now that the exam is done is time to pick out some frames. Marc explains the options. I explain my budget and Marc directs me to the frames within my price range. I've been wearing glasses for about 7 yrs now but I have never had anyone explain to me the differences in frames and why one might work better than the other based on my prescription. Mind blowing! He really took the time to give me an honest opinion about the frames I picked out and didn't try to upsell me. Moving from the east coast with sun/humidity/clouds to a place where the sun is on their job full time +overtime: I'm finding myself needed sunglasses more often. Marc explains that I can have one pair tinted with my script so I don't have to do reading glasses off sunglasses on dance. Okay so I'm really happy now. Marc is also very funny and kept me laughing the entire time while being professional as he completed the order. My glasses were ready for pick up as quoted but when I came to pick them up, the reading glasses were fine but the sunglasses were missing the tint. That's the only reason why my review is a 4 star instead of a 5. So the sunglasses have to go back to the lab and it's going to be a day or two before they're ready. I asked if they could mail me my glasses as opposed to me having to come back- the trip from work to the store was brutal because of weather related traffic. The person who gave me the reading glasses says sure no problem. A few days later, my sunglasses arrive via UPS unscathed. read more

My only complaint is that my script showed a change from a previous script saying that I now have a slight astigmatism. This was not mentioned to me during my appointment. I found out when I went to use my prescription and was told that it differs from my previous Rx. I also have to add that my eyeglass prescription has been -4.25 ever since I can remember. It was -4.25 when I was 18 and it's the same at age 50. I also discovered that my new eyeglass script was weaker than the current glasses that I wear, so that leads me to believe that the doctor did not compare my previous Rx to ensure that I had the same glasses. I had to call them back to correct this. My contact lens script was bumped down to -4.00 years ago because -4.25 is too strong for me, BUT eyeglasses at -4.00 are not strong enough. I've known this for many years and I wish I would have been more attentive to the script that was given to me on 9/25/2024 to ensure that I was getting what I need. SHOUT OUT to Adrian for being way cool and having my script changed back for me in a prompt manner when I called in. He got it changed for me and faxed it right over immediately and I appreciate the customer service that he provided. I am happy now that my new glasses will be exactly the same as the ones that I am currently wearing. I changed Eyeglass World locations because I do NOT like the front office staff at my previous location though I did really like the doctor there who I felt was very thorough. read more

I ordered 4 pair of glasses from this place. Two sunglasses and two regular. They were prescription glasses for driving. One pair of sunglasses had a lens that fell out constantly. One pair of clear glasses had the anti glare coating ( which I paid extra for ) wrinkled up and blurry. I was looking for computer glasses with a bifocal for my phone and keyboard. I found Dr Saleki and received completely thorough test of my vision. She is compassionate and willing to listen. I highly recommend her. The optician assisted with choosing frames and again listened to me to obtain exactly what I was looking for. Within 4 hours the glasses were ready. The did not let me leave until making absolutely sure the glasses worked properly. Candice called me at work to advise they had broken. Frames while inserting new lenses. Said I could come pick out new frames up to 129$ or bring frames from home and receive 129$ credit. I left work went and got frames from home brought them to store within 30 minutes. Upon arriving employee Candice refused to honor 129.00 credit issued for breaking my frames. Stated manager was responsible for decision not to refund. Told me call corporate. Coworker told me that Candice actually is store manager. I never leave reviews but if you're looking for an eye doctor, I would avoid this place. To start-They booked my appointment before the doctor was supposed to be in, They tried to reschedule me when I was already there because only one employee has the email password to access my insurance approval. I picked up my contacts and soon realized they were somehow not working even though I used trials for 2 weeks. I felt constant pressure in my left eye and blurriness. after multiple panic attacks from not being able to see with my contacts in I scheduled a follow up. in the follow up I felt like I was being belittled by the doctor for my concerns and she told me "this is the same prescription you've had for a year there shouldn't be a problem" she ended up adjusting the prescription and when I came to pick up my new contacts a kind younger woman worker figured out that they PUT MY ORIGINAL PRESCRIPTION IN COMPLETELY WRONG AND SWITCHED THE EYES! They never apologized, they did order the correct ones for me but I feel like this is so unprofessional and made my whole experience with them terrible. read more

I like nice people. You know, the cashier at the grocery store who understands your o.c.d. about how to pack your groceries, the guy at the carwash who scrubs the bugs off your grill for the 3rd time because bug goo makes you squeamish... you know- those kind of nice people. The group who works here are NICE. From the beginning when I had to reschedule my eye appointment twice because of work, to the very patient smiles as I admitted not having my eyes checked for four years(!), to the meltdown when I put on my new progressive lenses and realizing that age is officially catching up with me. When my new frames popped, and they immediately fixed them, to two days later when they popped again and they immediately replaced them. Every moment, was nice, professional and very, very good. I have dealt with glasses for 40 years now. This is the first time I will ever look forward to going back for an eye exam. Kudos to everyone. Don't change your staff. My experience here wasn't the best. Ordered glasses for my son who was leaving for the army in June 2021. They were not cheap glasses (Nike brand) and they broke after a few weeks. I wasn't able to get the broken glasses from him until recently and when I went to the store to see about having them repaired, they told me there was nothing they could do. The employee who helped me, Jennifer, was very nice, but the managers did not engage with me at all and did not seem to care about my problem. They said they did not have the tools to fix them which seems odd since they are a glasses store. read more
