I absolutely have loved both of my experiences at this location for Eyeglass World. I can't remember the name of the guy who helped me the first time but this most recent time was Krystal. I absolutely loved her. She was friendly and very accommodating. I've purchased one pair of glasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses and both were amazing! Highly would recommend!

My friend had referred me to eye glass world after I complimented her on her glasses and told her the awful experience I always have at target. I went in today, picked my glasses and was called up to check out the lenses I wanted. I worked specifically with Kelsea at the cactus location in phoenix, Arizona and she was absolutely amazing. Not only is she approachable but she genuinely loves what she does and it shows. She was so kind to everyone she interacted with in the store and she was so relatable. I saw her ring she had on which was a cat chasing it's tail and I commented on how cute it is. We got to chatting about our cats while she priced out my lenses and I shared that my cat had passed away earlier this week. Once all was said and one and I had paid, she took her ring off and handed it to me and said I could have it. I had to fight tears back at just how caring Kelsea was. She deserves to be recognized and given a raise if possible. Of all the eyeglass places I have been to, she has been the best experience ever. Thank you Kelsea, you now have a loyal customer for life.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Love my new driving glasses to see the roads I am on!

Pause. Take a step back for a moment and regain perspective. You may be getting caught up in the situation to the point where you cannot see out of it. Pause. Reflect. And also, it could be my case where you recently discovered you needed glasses to see the world with a different perspective. Having had Lasik, I wasn't in need of glasses until recently. After being hospitalized with adult onset diabetes, it changed my vision. You have to let the optometrist know that as well because in that situation, your vision will adjust again as you adjust to taking insulin. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment the same day. The receptionist was so kind in filling out the forms for me since my eyes were swollen and I could not see clearly or close. Without vision insurance, this was pretty reasonable for both the exam and glasses. If you do get the pupils dilated, definitely bring a designated driver otherwise you will be driving Helen Keller style on the streets, not recommended. You can't beat the pricing they offer, especially if you're in a pinch and need glasses quick. Generally they can get glasses done same day or next day. Mine took longer because I needed driving and reading glasses. The selection of frames is pretty extensive, even for the deal of two for $78. The sales staff is not overly pushy or aggressive. I wasn't needing to invest a ton since my vision is subject to change. I would definitely come back if I need to readjust my prescription. You can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see. The moment you change your perception is the moment you rewrite your story. Your perspective will either become your prison or passport. Personally I am all about seeing the goodness out there with these new glasses. It certainly helps when my vision is on point now.

Super impressed with the staff here, especially Kelsea! Heritage hasn't sent me information in two years and I don't know if I ever got a card, but especially since they were shut form from Covid? Impossible to get a hold of them for sure, but she did and we got glasses. Yay! Plus they even help you pick them out if no one came with your lonely Covid quarantine self. Their doctor is also super knowledgeable, at least the one I saw was.

amazing service, Dr. Saleki is absolutely wonderful, thorough, and professional. She makes eye exams fun and is very personable. Brian in the lab makes glasses look amazing and his turn around time is quick and efficient. Candis (the manager) takes pride in her store and it shows by the way the sales associates interact with their customers and patients. All of the staff there are knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to talk to about concerns. 10/10 would recommend for all of your Eyewear needs! Just look how cute my boy is with his new glasses that Brian made!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted enthusiastically and assisted in finding the perfect pair of glasses for my face. Steph was friendly, gave me honest feedback, and provided answers to all of my questions. The bonus was Bob also shared his opinion-brought out a brand new pair of frames that were still in the back-and I was so pleased with their service I bought two pairs of glasses (one of them was the pair from the back). This dynamic duo have been in the business for a long time and with their customer service most certainly will continue to have me, and others, for a long time to come. Thank you Steph and Bob for 'focusing' on the customer, 'seeing' me, and sharing your in'sight' with a first timer in glasses!

The sweet father and daughter team that own and run this lovely little glasses shop are truly wonderful at what they do. Every-time I have purchased glasses in the past I have gone into an eye glass store and they have handed me a tray and said go find your frames... and an hour or so later I have a tray filled with average looking frames that I may or may not really like. Then the store clerk helps me pick lenses for the frame that I narrow down my selection to and I get the same old glasses I always get. Well not this time! I went into Village Eye Works and was very pleasantly greeted and then actually helped by the father who was very happy to help me look for glasses that fit my face and looked great on me! We were then joined by his daughter who helped us and it turned into a personal shopper experience where they helped me find the perfect glasses for me. I ended up with amazing, fun, colorful glasses and sunglasses that really show off my personality and I am getting compliments everywhere I go! I really appreciated their help and will definitely go back there for all of my future glasses! Customer service like it should be!! All I can say is Thank You! Tracy Laasch

Subject: Recognition for Exceptional Kindness - Gina at VisionWorks, East Cactus Rd, Phoenix…read more To Whom It May Concern, I would like to recognize Gina at your East Cactus Road location in Phoenix for her extraordinary kindness and service. When I came in with broken glasses, Gina quickly assured me that my insurance would cover them and even put a rush on the order since I was heading back to California for medical appointments. That alone was thoughtful, but what she did next truly touched my heart. As I was leaving, Gina called me back. She said she didn't want me driving without glasses. She walked over to the display wall, took a sample frame, gently popped my lenses out, and placed them in the frame so I could see clearly until my new pair arrived. She gave me safety and peace of mind without me even asking. After everything I've been through, including breast cancer treatment which affected my sight and losing a sister 2 weeks ago, Gina's compassion and understanding reminded me how powerful a simple act of kindness can be. She went far beyond her role and it made all the difference. Please recognize Gina not only as an excellent employee, but as someone who leads with genuine care and empathy. Her extra kindness is something I will never forget. Sincerely, Mary McNally

If it were possible to rate Central Phoenix Eye Care (CPEC) 10 STARS, I most certainly would! I…read morecannot say enough good about the attention and caring the staff at CPEC provided to my adult son recently. Sadly, my son has suffered with mental illness for the past 11 years; the illness rendered him homeless over the past two years, resulting to his landing in Phoenix. In June, my son contacted me and let me know he was receiving help for his illness. And, in late July, I had the opportunity to travel to out to Phoenix from Dallas, to see my him and make a best effort to get him some of the things he was in desperate need of. Since my son had been without his eyeglasses since January and since he has always had a very strong eyeglasses prescription, being effectively blind and only seeing blurry images beyond about eight inches in front of his face, that which he needed most was eyeglasses! Because my son's prescription is so strong and because of his apparent mental incapacity, I did not want to take him to a store like America's Best or Lenscrafters, because I believed he warranted an extra level of attention, to achieve the best possible outcome. Well, after a little bit of reading reviews on Yelp* and weighing all options, I decided to give CPEC a call. Since I was only going to be in Phoenix for three days, I was elated when I was told that CPEC had an available appointment the following day. My son and I arrived on-time and were promptly greeted and given the necessary "new patient" forms. While I filled out the forms for my son, he was called to be seen. I was graciously invited to accompany him during the process. The examination technician who saw my son, was friendly and communicative, and when it became necessary for the technician to physically force my son's head and eyeball to be on the exact point it needed to be, in order to achieve the correct imagery, she showed compassion and gentleness in both her tone and touch. Next, my son was examined by Dr. Kelsey Harraghy. Dr. Harraghy above all, was equally compassionate and thorough! She was patient and attentive and, made me feel that my son was in the best of care. Her tone was gentle and caring and her bedside manner impeccable! Dr. Harraghy not only showed sincerity in ensuring my son's prescription was as exact as possible, but she also went the extra mile to find a contacts prescription that would work to give my son eyesight, until his eyeglasses order was completed and ready for pickup. The impact of Dr. Harraghy's caring cannot be overstated and it became apparent when my son placed the contacts in - having his sight restored after seeing only blurry for the previous six plus months - and his countenance as he observed himself in the mirror changed to one of an almost angelic quality. He appeared genuinely childlike and mesmerized at his ability to once again see. Thank you, Dr. Harraghy!! We then sat down to place the order for my son's glasses. Everything was presented with patience and caring and in a very low-pressure manner. From beginning to end, start to finish, CPEC took excellent care to ensure my son was made to feel appreciated and genuinely cared for. I am sincerely grateful for the staff at CPEC for showing my son and I the very best of humanity and kindness. Thank you, CPEC Staff!! I cannot recommend CPEC highly enough. If you are in need of eyecare, you may without hesitation or reservation be comfortable with your decision to visit CPEC. You will not be disappointed! I assure you!! Live Well. Be Well. Cheers!

I honestly didn't even know places like this still existed. My wife was referred here by her eye…read moredoctor because her glasses had broken just outside of the manufacturer's warranty. Most businesses today just try to sell you a replacement. These guys actually repair glasses. I went into All American Eyeglass Repair expecting "maybe they can help," and instead it was more like "yeah, we see this all the time." Part of the frame had broken. They said it could be laser welded and that you'd never even see the repair. The part I appreciated most is they seem very matter-of-fact about everything. No giant sales pitch. Just "we'll have it done in about an hour." Sure enough, about an hour later the glasses were repaired and honestly looked like nothing had ever happened. There's something refreshing about finding a business that just quietly knows what they're doing.
