Nice indoor casual seating near fireplace & outside seating with fire pits and bay views. Enjoyed delicious bacon, cheeseburger, fish & chips, crispy fries with spicy roulade sauce. Great bar drinks and friendly server.

Bartenders are great and drinks are on point. Gotta try the Gunpowder Irish Gin on the rocks. So tasty. The food is yummy. Gotta come here!

Came here a couple times while staying at the resort. Located right off the lobby, you can sit at the bar, inside lounge area, or outside. There are tables outside on the upper level and some couches on the lower level. You're harder to see on the lower level so you may have to alert servers that you're there, especially at night when it's dark. We had the Caesar salad, burger, fish and chips, and truffle fries. The burger and fries were tasty and the fish and salad were fine. The views and ambience were really nice. The service was friendly and helpful. Average size prices and portions for a resort in this area. $10 parking if you are just staying a couple of hours and not overnight.

HANGING OUT IN THE CAYS (3.8 stars) After taking the 22' Hurricane Powerboat out on the water for some spins, we decided to continue drinking and get something to eat around the Coronado Cays and found ourselves at the resort. Fancy resort lounge wasn't our main pick of a restaurant but since we were at the Cays already why the heck not! The menu had offerings we all liked and we were fine with eating there regardless of inflated resort lounge prices. ENDLESS SUMMER ($15) - Summer citrus vodka, Lillet Blanc, mint, sparkling lime & yuzu, grapefruit, aromatics & botanicals from our garden. Lol our entire table ordered an endless summer because we didn't want our summer to end. It was so freshening! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAMBURGER ($12) - I ordered from the kids meal section because I in general eat small portions and hate ordering large portions and food going to waste. The meal did come with fries. Basically, it's The Cays burger minus all the burger fixings and half the price but portion was mosdef generous to be a kids meal. When it came out I was surprised and satisfied. It was a kids meal so obviously no medium rare meat. The bun was lightly toasted and good fluff and texture. It was a basic burger and I had requested to add some lettuce, it wasn't the most amazing burger ever but it was fair! The fries were perfectly crispy. RECOMMEND. JUMBO SHRIMP COCKTAIL ($22) - Spicy cocktail sauce, lemon. Pricy for 5 pieces of jumbo prawns. But the prawns were super good! I considered ordering another order but was already full. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Honestly, some people overlook hotel lounges because they are pricy. But in Metropolitan cities I've lived in I found comfort hanging out at hotel lounges - if that be eating, drinking, or just shooting the ish with friends or colleagues. It's a different feel and I'm into it. JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Was here for a meeting at the lovely Loew's Coronado Hotel and was able to grab a bite at the Lounge. Cheeseburger hit the spot and service was on point as we placed our orders prior to when they open at noon as we seated ourselves at 11:30 letting the bartender know that we had a meeting at 1 pm. Order was received 15 mins after opening which was fantastic.

The fact that this is salad was $21.00 is absolutely absurd. No wow experience at all, should honestly be ashamed of yourselves for offering something like this.

This lounge in the main lobby of the Loews Coronado resort was fantastic. Great service, beautifully decorated for the holidays (massive gingerbread house), and amazing cocktails. My favorite part of relaxing in the lounge after a long day was the amazing musician that played keyboard and sang beautifully. They have live music Saturday. Didn't want to leave.. so good! They had a massive tv where my happy husband was able to watch college football while sipping his old fashioned. This resort is located a few miles from downtown Coronado so it is really isolated which makes it important to have a good lounge/bar area since leaving the hotel Is a hassle.

Came by for some drinks, dessert, and the views. The churros are yummy, and not too sweet! We ordered a Cadillac margarita and it was really good - you could actually taste the alcohol... unlike most places :) our waitress was very nice and super attentive. She checked on us many times!

We just arrived. First stop: Cays Lounge!

This is a very nice bar inside the lobby at Loews in Coronado. We always get special attention here, but this time it was provided by Scott. He's just so mellow and interesting. He is friendly and professional and just nice to chat with. We also always seem to meet other really nice folks who are also staying at Loews. The drinks are great as is the food. My favorite part is that my dog can join me in the bar. I can't recommend this place any higher, especially if you just want a low key - convivial experience.

    Perfect setting! Perfect Old Fashions

Great place! Wonderful seating on the patio with the bay right in front of you! Comfy chairs and couches and fire pit tables. We loved our Old Fashions and the Baja tacos servers were friendly too!

Cant beat the views for a nice relaxing night in at the hotel. Sangria was so so. Meat and cheese plate was satisfying but higher price point for what we got. Overall, I think it was worth it just for the ambiance

And, only then will I entertain a night out unless I'm with the right group of people. I've been to this bar several times now and it's been nothing but good old fashion fun. You can be yourself and no one bothers you. It's not crazy crowded, at least when I've been there during the weekdays. I can actually find a seat at the bar or just lounge in the back area on a couch. There are also tables and chairs to choose from. There has been a DJ, live band, karaoke or just plain music jammin. The highlight for me: the bar tenders ! They were attentive and friendly. Shout out to Justin and I forgot young looking female bartender's name. Shout out to her too This bar may not be as lit and inviting looking from the outside, don't judge. She recommended a milk punch cocktail that incorporated Sotol, which is kind of like tequila but instead of fermenting agave, it ferments Dasylirion and is made only in Chihuahua. Then she recommended a cocktail that leverages a Mexican produced corn liquor in a Negroni but with gin subbed with mezcal. Both of these cocktails are bartenders choice and not on the menu, but the fact that they can execute such innovative cocktails so we'll speaks to the level of dedication bartenders at this bar have. Renee even gave pointers as to where I might be able to buy some of the bottles they use and for a few other bars of similar caliber to visit nearby. Instead of ending my trip at Nortico as previously planned, she helped me find a really cool new bar in Tijuana! Highly recommend.

Multiple bystanders witnessed his behavior but failed to intervene, assuming it was just "relationship drama" After the man finally left, the venue's security completely misread the situation. Instead of checking on my well-being or ensuring the aggressor had left the premises, security targeted and chased me as if I were the problem. It is incredibly disappointing and dangerous for a business's security team to lack the basic situational awareness and training required to identify the actual victim in a situation. I felt entirely unprotected by the staff here. I hope management takes this as a serious sign that their security team needs immediate retraining on bystander intervention and de-escalation, rather than harassing women who are already in vulnerable situations.

Started with the Mango Shrimp Ceviche and it was 10/10. Fresh shrimp, good flavor and balance of sweetness & citrus... but what stood out the most was their delicious fried tortillas that came with it... never had such a satisfying crunch from a tortilla! The spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best we've had in San Diego. DEFINITELY coming back for it. The tacos were mid, though. Not much flavor and the carne asada tacos didn't have much to them, meat was a bit dry and could've used more toppings or sauce of some sort. One of our blackened fish tacos came extremely close to completely raw and we sent it back. They didn't apologize or anything but just brought one fresh one that was cooked. That's the only reason for my four star rating. Our waiters were extremely nice though, I do think they are still figuring things out as we sat for twenty minutes waiting for a server because they didn't know whose table it was. It wasn't busy at all at that time. Overall, absolutely coming back for the drinks, views, and that DELISHHH chicken sandwich!!
