Another fine Breakfast at Calypso Cafe! Had friends visiting from Las Vegas...they were amazed with the quality of the food at Calypso Café. In fact Scott said it was the best omelette he had ever eaten, in his LIFE! When we were finished I noticed that every single one of us had eaten everything on our plates. Our wonderful waiter (GG from Italy) was an utter delight, and he charmed all of us with his fantastic service. The lovely waterside patio is an absolute bonus. Calming and relaxing. It's evident Calypso Cafe takes great pride in their quality and flavor combinations, because everything was outstanding. Compliments to the chef We will be returning soon.

Calypso!!! Best breakfast and lunch! Unexpected treasure to find!!! The food is so delicious and the service is outstanding!!!

What an unexpected treasure to find! The food was amazing and the service outstanding! Love this place! They even have a boat dock so you can pick up lunch on the water.

Imagine yourself in a quant fishing village in Milos, Greece, where the fishermen serve the day's catch at your table overlooking the Aegean Sea. This is where I found myself at the Calypso Cafe, savoring a roasted Branzino, topped with onions, herbs and lemon slices. The fish was delicate and mild, with a slightly sweet undertone. Save yourself a 16 hour flight to the Eastern Mediterranean and enjoy the fare at Calyso Cafe.

Food was so delicious, staff were so welcoming and sweet. Such a cute environment, love the energy here 10/10 for everything I almost cried the lox bagel was so good

We love Calypso Cafe! They have the best breakfast, sandwiches, and desserts. Our go to sandwiches are the Coronado and the Grilled Tuna Melt. We love the cannolis and other sweet treats too. The owner is so sweet and they really have the best service. It's a great convenience shop/restaurant for the area and the ambiance is so clean and homey. We will definitely be back to Calypso's soon!

Wife and I took a ride to this amazing spot for breakfast yesterday and we will absolutely be back anytime we are in the area. The owner was kind and accommodating, the food and mimosas were delicious, and the location is beautiful. 100% recommend.

Everything is very fresh, and homemade, and delicious. Even better than my ex-girlfriend used to make.

This is such an adorable, out-of-the way place to have great food and just sit and relax and enjoy good company and conversation! Had no idea this restaurant was even there. We'll definitely go back again in the future!

My God I haven't had fish tacos this good in 30 years, when my father and I used to get up at 5:00 in the morning head to Ensenada and have fresh caught fish tacos brings back great memories and now I'm having them here close to home, on Tuesdays they're $2 each great service great food, and no these ain't your everyday tiny little tacos these are large size, we're so lucky they're just in our backyard

I have been trying to try this place for about 2 years and finally made it! Always had time to go on a Sunday, but they are closed. Very friendly staff, beautiful view and great food. We went Saturday midmorning and they were making fresh paella, which was filled with many types of seafood and sausages. We could maybe finish half the portion, the rest we took for a late afternoon snack. The breakfast burrito was very good, I wanted it to be a bit bigger. On burrito size, it was on the smaller side, but delicious. The gyros plate was great too, needed a bit more tzatziki, but we could have asked for more. Great dock and dine place in the south bay!

Stopped by Calypso for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Mediterranean food was excellent, the hamburger was great, and the sandwiches were delicious as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very kid-friendly. Highly recommend!
