I visited CAFECITO On Palm this past weekend on the way back from Tijuana MX, heading towards Long Beach. My good friend @cheftiffanythomas was on the journey with me and suggested we check this out. Not only is the coffee strong and tasty but the location is unique and cute. What caught our eye was the coffee cup shape & the cute garden in the back. There's a seating area that is reminiscent of a traditional Chicano Garden; which gives it a cozy at home feeling. We did arrive late afternoon around 1:30, so we had less to select from. I recommend the earlier the better if you have your heart set on something. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, which had a faint taste of IBARRA or Abuelita chocolate. If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere to have a cup of coffee this would definitely be the right place.

Best coffee shop in the South Bay!! The coffee is good quality and the customer service is amazing. The staff remembers all their customers names, every time I come by they already know what I want and greet me by name.

This is a small walk-up coffee shop that is housed in a cute coffee-shaped building. You order outside and while they don't have any inside seating, there is a nice side patio/outdoor area where you can enjoy your drinks. Their specialty drinks revolve around Mexican flavors and so I decided to get the Horchata Latte. One critique I tend to have with Mexican-style lattes is that they tend to be on the sweeter-side, however Cafecito does their lattes just right. It had the cinnamon-churro flavor with the right amount of balance between sweet and espresso. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out for a cute picture and some great coffee!

Yummy coffee! The bean burrito was so good and fresh. Cute seating area and service was great!!

Great coffee and lattes! We ordered a large iced vanilla latte and a cajeta latte, both were delicious. The café offers plenty of outdoor seating and ample parking, plus a nice selection of Bread & Cie pastries. We tried the banana chocolate loaf and the pumpkin bread, which paired perfectly with our drinks. Prices are average. Just a tip: slow down when you're looking for the café, it's easy to miss the driveway.

The employees were so nice and helpful! The coffee was amazingggg, I got the cajeta latte with extra ice 10/10. I also ordered a carne molida con papa burrito and bitchin turkey panini, they are filling and very tasty!! I ate half of both because they're a decent size so you'll probably be good just ordering one or the other, I just wanted to try both. The backyard area is super cute and relaxing if you're looking to sit down and enjoy your drink/food. I will definitely be coming back I wish I lived closer!

Super cute coffee spot! Cool vibe, relaxing garden area, outdoor seating only, free parking available, good service, reasonable prices, small burritos, and delicious Mexican infused specialty drinks. I originally reviewed this location when it was located in Chula Vista (Cafecito on Third). Same review, different location. The prices, like everywhere in California have gone up. Their traditional drinks (Americano, cortado, cappuccino) range from $3- $5.25. Specialty drinks (Mexican mocha, mazapan, horchata, Cajeta) range from $5.25-$7.25. Burritos vary, sell out fast, are on the small side and cost $5-$6 each. The place is designed to look like a coffee cup and pretty cool. There is a small parking lot and handful of free parking stalls available. There is an outdoor patio area decorated with plants and flowing water. Being inside of the garden, while sipping coffee, is not only relaxing, but allows you to forget how close you are to a busy street. It's definitely a nice touch and I enjoyed my time. I have ordered all the specialty drinks and Cajeta and horchata are my favorites. The burritos were small and over priced in my opinion, and weren't anything special. But was a nice little snack to enjoy with my morning coffee. Totally worth checking out.

Ordered an horchata latte and a mazapan latte, and both were a complete miss. They had no flavor and tasted watered down, like the syrups or espresso were barely there. Weak and bland. Don't come here if you actually want good coffee.

Such a cute little coffee shop! I got an iced latte with cinnamon and honey and it was delicious. I love the outdoor seating area with so many beautiful plants.

The menu options were simple, i don't know if making a concoction of flavors was possible but it didn't show. I like bitterness in my coffee and this had just a hint of it. We tried the mazapán and Mexican mocha, they were both good. Again, i prefer the stronger coffee flavor so for me it was subtle but still good. The flavor of mazapán was there but again, subtle. They were not overly sweet which I liked. We also tried a s'mores puerquito cookie which was also not overly sweet and good flavor. I will be back and ask if I could have my coffee made stronger, hopefully this helps! Our total for 2 coffees (hot and cold) and a puerquito was $14.50 Food/Coffee:**** Service:**** Ambiance:*

They are both perfectly made with the perfect amount of coffee to sugar ratio. She also had milk alternatives for me, so I got both with oat milk! Not to mention her website was so professional, and easy to use. Thanks again I hope your business thrives! Can't wait to come back next time I need a good coffee close to CBX! PS I'm buying two rosemary iced lattes next time!

My next post will be an official letter to the 7-Eleven franchise as this community needs a convenience store because the nearest convenience store is a mile away without a vehicle. However, the disregard and disrespect this 7-11 exhibits in the community is intolerable. The exterior needs to be painted, the trash cans need to be replaced, inside of the store needs to be mopped daily, and more frequently doing busy times coffee needs replenishing, shit alongside the walls that don't belong, clean the counters.... and the owner still has not responded to me with my first review and actual pictures and videos of the treachery of trash that's was on the side of the buildings. I could go on and on or they can hire me to be the owner and there will be a complete turn of the tide. How many negative stars does it take before change happens?
