Although the storefront is small, they have a really nice outdoor seating area that's filled with plants, and the coffee they serve is super smooth and flavorful. I ordered an Americano black, my benchmark for any new coffee spot I try, and it was clean, had a good body, and was pleasant from first sip to aftertaste. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere of the shop is upbeat and feels community-oriented. I will definitely be back to try a latte and a refresher soon! read more

If you've ever driven down Palm Ave and noticed the giant coffee cup building... yes, it's just as cute in person The outdoor patio is such a vibe...lush plants, shaded seating, and a cozy, laid back feel that makes you want to hang out for a bit. I'm not even a coffee drinker, but I tried the iced mazapan latte with oatmilk and was pleasantly surprised, it was creamy, slightly sweet, and actually really good. I'd order it again! My husband got a cortado with 3 shots and said it was smooth, robust, not too bitter, and perfectly balanced. He gave it an 8/10. I visited CAFECITO On Palm this past weekend on the way back from Tijuana MX, heading towards Long Beach. My good friend @cheftiffanythomas was on the journey with me and suggested we check this out. Not only is the coffee strong and tasty but the location is unique and cute. What caught our eye was the coffee cup shape & the cute garden in the back. There's a seating area that is reminiscent of a traditional Chicano Garden; which gives it a cozy at home feeling. We did arrive late afternoon around 1:30, so we had less to select from. I recommend the earlier the better if you have your heart set on something. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, which had a faint taste of IBARRA or Abuelita chocolate. One critique I tend to have with Mexican-style lattes is that they tend to be on the sweeter-side, however Cafecito does their lattes just right. Their traditional drinks (Americano, cortado, cappuccino) range from $3- $5.25. Specialty drinks (Mexican mocha, mazapan, horchata, Cajeta) range from $5.25-$7.25. Burritos vary, sell out fast, are on the small side and cost $5-$6 each. The place is designed to look like a coffee cup and pretty cool. There is a small parking lot and handful of free parking stalls available. There is an outdoor patio area decorated with plants and flowing water. Being inside of the garden, while sipping coffee, is not only relaxing, but allows you to forget how close you are to a busy street. It's definitely a nice touch and I enjoyed my time. I have ordered all the specialty drinks and Cajeta and horchata are my favorites. The burritos were small and over priced in my opinion, and weren't anything special. Right by Imperial Beach, you will find this cute little coffee shop shaped as an actual cup of coffee with a beautiful seating area filled with tons of greenery and garden-like scenery. I ordered their Horchata Latte and it was delicious!! Truly the perfect amount of that horchata cinnamon-y flavor and it wasnt too sweet!! Their other popular drinks are the mazapan and cajeta lattes (which I cant wait to go back and try) -- and they also serve food such as burritos and baked goods BUT they sell out quick (I didnt make it in time lol). The ambiance is great and I can definitely recommend this place to wind down, study, work, or simply catch up with friends. Its very peaceful and relaxing in their seating area. There is a parking lot with limited spaces, and there can be a line most times so arrive promptly. Love this new gem in imperial beach! The baristas were busy, but super friendly. He pronounced my name correctly and remembered it. (Not everyone could do that) Since I stopped by here in the afternoon before closing, I decided to get a refresher. It consisted of topo Chico, strawberry flavor and a chamoy Tajin rim for $1 extra. Totally worth every penny. It's a great option for those who are sensitive to caffeine (like me!) Seating is super limited. There are a few tables wrapped around on the side surrounded with greenery! The perfect spot to go if you are hungover. Came here in the morning and wanted a nice warm coffee. I got the the Mexican mocha and it was so yummy, it did the job. My wife got a cold drink the cajeta latte, I took a sip and it delicious. I saw the sign they have burritos for sale. I got the ground beef and potatoes and my wife got sourizo and potatoes. I could have ate 3 more burritos because they were so good but didn't want to get full. Definitely stopping here at least a couple times a week. We also saw they also have refreshers. I was passing by this place and saw it had some great reviews so I had to try it out. I almost passed it driving as it is pretty tucked away. I would've stayed and dined in to see how the vibe was but it was just too windy. Service was quick and I was on my way in no time. Horchata Latte was good no complaints there. They didn't have their conchas which is surprising bc I felt like I was here generally earlier in the day. I was looking forward to trying their strawberry or mazapan conchas but they had none at all. The drinks were ok. Wow, immediately fell in love with this coffee shop. As its name implies, it is located on Palm Ave on the way to IB. It's tucked away in a small older looking plaza with a good amount of parking spots. It's a charming looking cup shaped building! Ordering was super fast and the staff was super nice. I ordered a dirty matcha with oat milk and I enjoyed it! Excited to try more drinks and food. I asked if the side gate area was open and they said yes and even offered me the wifi password. I saw this coffee shop on Instagram, and it looked too cute not to try. We came here mid-morning on a Saturday and there was a line. We definitely waited a while, but to be fair, you'll have a long wait at any independent coffee shop at 10 AM on a Saturday. So don't come here on the weekends if you're in a rush. This is a cool, locally owned coffee shop. They offer coffee imported from Mexico. The shop is a smartly converted, once upon a time, barrel shaped taco shop with a lovely side covered patio garden. I had a cortado with whole milk and a Los Burritos de tu Madre soyrizo and potato breakfast burrito. The cortado was rich in flavor but had slight acidic or sour note towards the end. It was good nevertheless. I do expect the baristas to further improve their skills because of the coffee grounds that remained in the coffee cup. The soyrizo breakfast burrito was very good. The batista was very nice and helpful with choosing what drink my GF and I should get. I got a refresher drink and my GF got an iced latte. The drinks were great! The refreshers use Topo Chico as the base and then flavors. You van mix up to 3 flavors per drink. There is always a nice sitting area with plants everywhere on the side of the coffee shop! Stopped by this coffee shop around 9am on the way home after an early work out and it was a great experience overall. There was no line, and my Iced Mexican Mocha was ready quickly. The drink itself was delicious--rich, flavorful, and not watered down like some iced coffees can be. Payment was super easy with tap-to-pay, which made things quick and hassle-free. The only seating available was outside, but I found a nice shaded spot on the side, which was perfect for relaxing. This area was filled with plants and had plenty of tables and chairs for the number of people there. It's first-come, shortly after arriving more people started rolling in and I even ran into a friend while I was there! Great spot for a morning coffee, and I'll definitely be back. This place is absolutely adorable. Located in downtown Chula Vista, this spot is literally an old school display window turned coffee bar. For what they lack in space they definitely make up in character; this place has a sort of undeniable boho-chic vibe and definitely rocks it. When we visited, it wasn't very busy but there were people waiting for their drinks. I'm assuming since they are operating out of a very narrow space, there can't be too many people working at the same time so there may be a little wait. Totally worth it though. I ordered a mazapan latte and expected it to be outrageously sweet (because mazapan), but was pleasantly surprised by how balanced of a drink it was.
