Sometimes things can be right in front of you , Millport has been here for 5 years , I've driven by for 5 years busy in my own world until this morning. Contemplating going home after church and cooking breakfast I spot the lights on. I pull a Uturn, the place is pretty cool , a nipple menu of sandwiches and breakfast and lunch bowls. We opted for the Diner bowel , it has a large number of gold potato's seasoned to perfection , fluffy scrambled eggs and a huge sweet sausage patty and plump.bacon. Everything combined into a large bowl almost overflowing. My wife ordering the Eggy sandwich, it was a 4 egg she reduced it to a two egg. She says was delicious . We then finished off trying a great strawberry scone. If you're local or a tourist you've now got my seal of approval, lots of tables , a live piano player on the patio. Great on a sunny sun filled afternoon. Bring your friends and family. Pet friendly. Food was reasonably priced and delicious

Millport Is the Tiny Café with a Mighty Bite (and a Cult Following) Millport isn't just a café--it's a ritual. A hidden gem with maddeningly limited hours that somehow make you love it even more. For a solid three months, we were there every Saturday or Sunday morning, part of the unofficial fan club that knows the drill: come early, leave happy. Let's talk food. The Farmer's Breakfast is a royal feast disguised as a humble bagel sandwich. Chef Alynn layers juicy sausage, a cloud of cream cheese, crispy bacon, and a perfectly cooked egg into a symphony of savory joy. One bite and suddenly you understand why silence at the table is the highest compliment. Not feeling a bagel? The Diner's Brekky delivers with giant, flavor-packed potato chunks that soak up every bit of goodness on the plate. It's the kind of breakfast that lingers in your dreams. And the coffee? Next level. Bold, organic, and locally roasted--it doesn't just wake you up, it wraps you in a caffeinated hug and tells you everything's going to be okay. Now let's talk sweets. Chef Emmy is a pastry wizard. Her cookies, cakes, and pastries aren't just delicious--they're stunning. Like, Instagram-wants-to-be-them stunning. Every crumb is deliberate, every glaze a flex. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating? Think charmingly small: maybe 14-18 seats on the patio, which just adds to the exclusivity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And now--brace yourself--they've added Friday night dinner parties. Burgers, charcuterie boards, and craft cocktails under the stars? Yes, please.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Millport is the kind of place that makes you rearrange your schedule and count down the days 'til it reopens. Limited hours, unlimited love.

Quaint little place that you will miss if you are looking with a keen eye. It looks like a house and we passed it twice. The owners are two women who looked like they were working their butts off and it shows in the food. The cook came out and delivered the food in person and I had never seen my son eyes blow up like that. He got the banana pancakes and I got the Diner. Both were so much food and tasty! Food was excellent. Service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Charming atmosphere (outdoor seating).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love it! We will be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Quaint little cafe hidden among the houses in Imperial Beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At first glance, it looked like a house with a really cool front patio, then I looked up the name and discovered it was a cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had been eager to try it and suggested it this morning for breakfast. Although it is small, my husband and I had no trouble parking. While I thought it was a restaurant, it's more of a quick service cafe, which is great! We ordered inside, great customer service, and sat outside on the patio. Drinks came out first, my husband got a coffee and I got a cappuccino, both were tasty! For breakfast, I got the Diner Breakfast bowl and my husband had the Reuben Bagel. He loved his bagel and it was pretty sizable. My bowl was good and filling, just wished the potatoes had a bit more seasoning, but other than that was really tasty. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items!

First off, so easy to be gluten free here. From the breakfast choices to the pastries, so many options. My breakfast companion and I both got the protein bowls with chicken sausage, fried eggs, Swiss chard, peas and carrots. The best part is none of it was salty. I despise an overstated sausage. This had plenty of flavor without over salting. The veggies were crisp tender. The yolk was perfectly runny. Perfect avocado and yummy cotija cheese on top. Next time, I must try some of those rosemary potatoes The pastries were out of this world. If you get the chance to try the chocolate babka or the cardamom almond Bundt cake, do it. Exceptional. It's a super cute spot with great and friendly service. I'll for sure be back.

This restaurant used to be a house and were were seated on the porch. Their pastries and presentation of all the food is so pretty! We shared the avocado toast, This Little Piggy, Chef's Funky Wedge, and a variety of pastries. I chose the strawberry mint and bubbles to drink, while my friend opted for the creme brulee latte. Our drinks came in a mason jar and mine was very refreshing. I tried her latte and it wasn't too sweet, which was great for us. This Little Piggy came with lots of meat and was very hearty. It was flavorful and the potatoes it came with were perfectly cooked. The salad was basically a wedge topped with bacon, red onions, etc. It was kind of hard to eat haha. Their baked goods came on a board and were so cute and the perfect size. I like that they weren't overly sweet either. I would love to come back to try more of their menu items!

Millport is incredible! Women-owned small family business that operates Friday through Sunday. Their gluten free pastries are delicious, especially the muffins! Their menu items are creative and thoughtfully prepared by the chef. I get so excited when they change their menu, which happens seasonally. Amazing quality for the price you pay. Plus, the owners are so kind and accommodating. You can sub greens for potatoes/bread if you're low carb, etc. Ask them for recs if you don't know what to get! And absolutely do pay them a visit, or 5!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very kind and helpful! Food was great and the portions are big which I love because my husband and I can eat. Would definitely recommend to all my fam and friends to try it out! Food: 10 out of 10 Place 10 out of 10 Service: 10 out of 10

Of my party of 3, I was the only one who cared for this place. We were looking for an American breakfast place to eat before the Padres game and found this neighborhood spot. It looks like it used to be a house and you eat on the porch. This is an order at the counter type of place, and it felt awkward standing there and not being greeted. We were looking at their menu while waiting for my partner to park the car, but no one said good morning or offered help if we had questions. Their display of baked goods looked delightful, and I'm sorry I didn't order one. Pancakes - my partner expected more raspberry. It's not shown in the picture, but there were fresh raspberries on the other side of the butter mound. Avocado sandwich - as a vegetarian, it looked weak to me too.. it looked dry with not enough balsamic. Although I didn't taste it, my cousin only ate half of it. Spicy Vegan bowl - made with crumbled tofu and a lot of potato, the curry sauce tasted good. Wished there was more avocado and it was mostly potato, but it was a nice breakfast option. Lavender lemonade didn't have enough lavender taste (and too sweet to my liking). The coffee came with a little cookie, which was a nice touch. I'd come back to try a pastry.

    Birthday lunch!

I will say, the guy who took our order was very nice, so no complaints at all about the service. Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. We both ordered the El Swagador burger and neither of us liked it. The meat lacked seasoning, and the pork belly tasted off to both of us. I ordered mine without the serrano chilies (thank goodness), because my boyfriend kept them on his and said it was way too spicy to even enjoy. I also ordered an Oreo milkshake, but it was pretty bland and lacked flavor. The only things we actually enjoyed were the onion rings and fries. For almost $100 total, we left feeling like we completely wasted our money -- especially paying $26 per burger and not even finishing half of them. The restaurant also didn't feel very clean and lacked any atmosphere or vibe. I really don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately this experience missed the mark for us and needs a lot of improvement. Sadly, we won't be back.

I was torn between the tortuga ninja and the breakfast mexipino. Decided to go with the mexipino sandwich and the ube pancake. Ube pancake - served on a pizza plate. Wow factor lol. The pancake was good, however i felt it could have used a macapuno syrup or something coconutty to complement the ube. The drizzle they put on it was good and i asked for extra and it boosted the flavor. This can probably feed 4-5 people depending on how hungry you are. Mexipino sandwich - this was good enough to split. I loved the savory and sweetness and saltiness. All the flavors complimented one another and i did a happy food dance. Calamansi mint drink - it was just ok for me. Reminds me of the calamansi drink from the pouches and they just added mint. It was too sweet for me so i probably wouldn't order again. It's not a big spot but they do have a lot of seating. The staff on duty were really nice. I want to come back to try the tortuga ninja sandwich. They do have high chairs for the little ones.
