    Korean Prime Skirt Steak*

Nice restaurant with good vibes. It was packed on a Tuesday night, but we had made a reservation and got in pretty quickly. The drinks and appetizers were good, but the portions were a little small - you'll want a few appetizers for a party of 4. I got the Korean Skirt Steak as my entree. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the portion was plenty to fill me up! The service was a little slower than typical American dining - not an issue, but just make sure you aren't expecting a quick in and out meal.

It was good. The Server was really nice and took his time with us and forming a connection with us. That gives 5 stars for service. Food was good? I mean it was nothing like insane, but it was good. It was a solid meal, the vodka pasta was good, just a little overcooked. The flavor was really nice though, kind of reminded me of Joey. The Wagyu and burger were also good, solid. Fries were super salty though but honestly I like them like that. Inside kind of reminded me of north Italia, the layout and open floor plan. Over all 7/10 dinner

We came here for lunch and we had a reservation. It took a couple minutes to get seated, which was no problem. Our server was very nice and friendly. I started with a drink, the Paloma, which was delicious. I ordered the seared tuna salad and ate the entire thing. My husband got the club sandwich with french fries and he ate everything as well. He added avocado to it, which made it even better. Food came out very quickly. Would definitely come back if it was in the area again.

Haven't been here in a while, but stopped by for a quick snack and drinks. The fries were exactly what I was craving. Soft and delicious, just like McDonald's fries. Yum! We sat outside, and since it was during the World Cup, the atmosphere was even more lively and fun. The service was quick and efficient. We were in and out in no time, which was perfect since we just needed a quick bite. Overall, a great spot for a casual stop.

I enjoyed all the flavors that I got to try here! My salmon was delicious and the potstickers I would absolutely get again. That being said, our dinner took roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours with long weights in between ordering receiving appetizers and being able to order food. Our waiter seemed to run away for a little bit but, it was a busy night.

The Henry caught our eye while we were walking around San Diego, so we decided to stop in for lunch, and we're so glad we did! We came in as walk-ins and were seated on the patio right away. The atmosphere was great, and the patio was the perfect place to enjoy lunch while people-watching on the busy shopping street. It definitely felt like a popular spot where people come to grab a meal, have a few drinks, and hang out with friends. The service was excellent, and our food came out surprisingly fast. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my salad was definitely the standout--it was so fresh and flavorful. If you're looking for a cute lunch spot with great food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere while you're in San Diego, I'd definitely recommend checking out The Henry.

Henry's was one of the highlights of our Coronado vacation. The food was amazing, and the service was truly first-class from start to finish. We're especially glad we met Chef Isaac, who recommended Henry's. We're so thankful we took his advice and gave it a try! You can tell everything is made fresh and prepared with care. Our table ordered the California Bowl, Harvest Bowl, Ranchero Bowl, and Eggs Benedict, and every dish was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were fantastic, and everything arrived perfectly prepared. Since we were on vacation, we decided we'd have dessert with brunch and I am so glad we did! It tasted like it had been baked fresh just for our table. If you're looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a restaurant that clearly takes pride in every detail, Henry's is a must-visit in Coronado. We'll definitely be back.

It was good I guess. The eggs were fluffy. The potato had a phenomenal texture. The bacon also had an unrealistically even crisp to it. I've driven past this joint so many times, and it always seems slammed. I finally strolled in at mid-morning on a cloudy Friday, and it was still quite busy. It took almost half an hour to get my food. And I thought the portion was kinda small. Aside from that, I don't know, this place seems.....too generically middle class American for me. I can't imagine being impressed by the flavor of anything served here, but I can't call anything bad either. Wait, yes I can. When the bartender gave me a refill on my coffee, it was lukewarm from sitting out too long. That was bad.

Very posh restaurant with a cool, stylish atmosphere. I loved that you can see into the kitchen through a glass wall separating it from the dining room -- it adds a fun and modern touch to the experience. Service seemed to vary depending on who was helping you. I wouldn't describe it as especially warm, but it was efficient. The drinks were excellent, and they offer a great selection of coffee options as well. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. We only ordered one dish to split, and some parts were fantastic. The hollandaise sauce was delicious, and both the potatoes and side salad were very good. However, the English muffin underneath was a disappointment -- it didn't seem toasted at all and lacked any color or texture. Since the muffin is a key part of the dish, it left me feeling a little underwhelmed overall. I'd still like to come back and try other menu items, so I'm hoping this was just an off day rather than a reflection of the food as a whole.

Hiya B.U.M.S., We've been wanting to eat at The Henry in Coronado for quite some time now, and we finally got the chance to head over and experience it for ourselves. Safe to say, it did not disappoint--so let's dive right in! If you're planning a visit without a reservation, give yourself a 20- to 45-minute buffer. That was the estimated wait time when we arrived. Lucky for us, bar seating is first-come, first-served, and since we love sitting at the bar anyway, we grabbed a spot right away. From there, our service was handled by Katie and Chris. I generally don't name names in reviews unless someone genuinely earns it, but both of them deserve major recognition. They were attentive, warm, and exceptionally professional from start to finish. We kicked off our meal with a couple of specialty beverages: Pineapple & Thai Basil Soda & Pomegranate Hibiscus, both were outstanding--refreshing, crisp, and packed with flavor right out of the gate. When it came to food, we decided to explore a mix of familiar favorites and new culinary territory: Short Rib Potstickers: This was a unique experience. If you've had short ribs cooked just right, you know the meat is extremely soft and juicy--which feels a bit unexpected inside a dumpling skin at first. The soft texture took a second to get used to, but as all the elements came together, every bite got better and better. Parmesan Fries: Hands down a standout star. We declared these our all-time favorite fries: crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Grilled & Chilled Shrimp: This caught us by surprise. I honestly thought I had eaten shrimp every way imaginable, but grilled and then chilled was a first for us--and it was incredible. For our main entrée, we shared the Korean Prime Skirt Steak. As a massive grilling fanatic, the very first thing I noticed on both the shrimp and the steak was that true, authentic fire-grilled flavor. That smoky, charred touch always hits home for me. The steak was prepared exactly to our liking--a perfect medium-rare--and the seasoned rice it was served over complemented the rich marinade perfectly. The Henry brings a fantastic ambiance that feels like a blend of a classic Newport Beach getaway and an elegant East Coast retreat. Sitting at the bar was such a great experience that I can only imagine how wonderful a full dining room reservation would be. If you're in Coronado, it's absolutely worth a visit. We will definitely be back.

Anticipating a stellar dinner while in the San Diego area. Interesting interiors has both old style leather booths and also modern chairs and bar seats. Attentive service overall. The harvest bowl salad is a mixture of roasted squash, quinoa and greens plus glazed sweet nuts among the crunchy greens. Butter pasta with grilled chicken for the toddler. Excellent braised short ribs over smooth mashed potatoes- tender and tasty. The Chilean sea bass was unfortunately a tad overdone and dry, but the manager generously comped this dish. We finished off the dinner with an amazingly delicious gooey molten butter cake that was topped with a pour of caramel. Street parking was packed for a late dinner (past 8 pm) but we snagged one just in time for our reservation. Hand crafted cocktails Paloma and High life also great. Nice area to explore in daytime.

huge restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. we came during the usa soccer game and it was playing on the TVs. we brought our dog so the outdoor seating is pretty dog friendly. our server David was really sweet and interactive! he even brought our dog water. the pretzels for starters was one of our favorites -- the soft fluffy pillows were such a generous portion they almost filled us up! the artichoke dip was nice with the crispy additions. the short rib potstickers were a little too sweet. the braised short ribs was my favorite, it was so tender and sweet from the caramel glaze. the spicy double egg fried rice wasn't spicy at all, but it's a good filler. the wagyu cheeseburger was too rare for my liking, but the flavors were there

I was really impressed with the polish and attentiveness of the staff. We were a group of six for brunch and were seated at a large table in the interior. We enjoyed the open kitchen, the high ceilings, the breeze and the comfort! We didn't have reservations and it was Mother's Day weekend so we expected to wait and I'm glad we did. I had a delicious granola bowl, a few people in my group had the Eggs Benedict on the house-made English muffins (so good) and there was a very happy avocado toast in the mix. We shared an epic French toast with magical cinnamon syrup - really recommend the French toast!! Loved it enough to add it to the rotation when visiting San Diego.

This past Sunday, I decided to head over for a morning walk and finally stopped in again. The shop is pretty small with limited seating, so it's not really a place to hang out. It seems more like a grab-and-go coffee spot. There aren't many great coffee shop options in this part of Coronado, so I can definitely see why it's popular with both locals and tourists. I arrived just before the morning rush, so I was able to order and get my drink almost immediately. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount--it's always nice to see businesses supporting the military community. I ordered a medium cold brew with coconut cold foam and asked for very light ice. I was so happy they actually listened! So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it. I also love that they serve organic coffee. I'll definitely have to remember to stop by more often whenever I'm in Coronado in the mornings. Next time, I need to try one of their donuts too!

They are now known for their desserts, macarons, crepes, and pastries. They also serve drinks. This Parfait Paris location is at the Coronado Ferry Landing. There are eight locations at this time of Parfait Paris plus an online commerce site. You can visit their website at https://parfaitparis.com/locations/coronado to order pickup or delivery, catering, an events calendar, and jobs. This location is open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 9 PM. I also joined a loyalty program where I enter my phone number upon each visit at checkout. I believe I have a promo I can use on my next visit. I certainly plan to come back again when I am visiting Coronado in the future!

Whether you're recovering from convention adventures or just need a little pick-me-up, this spot is always brewing happiness one cup at a time. Who's ready to espresso themselves with me?

Eating "here" out of a cold-salad plastic deli container (reheated), pre-made three days prior, was a bad first impression. Because no milk or water was added before reheating, the oats were thick, dense, and gluey. Order at the counter and hang out until your name is called. The service was spartan, order and pickup at the counter, though the cashier was pleasant. The shop is clean and they open the property next door for seating. A buddy ordered the San Dieggo. He said it rocked. It looked good. See photos. A note on pricing (not included in the rating): Price the food, don't fee the customer! Seeing a 4% surcharge for basic operational costs, wages, benefits, overhead -- is unnecessary. Why use a percentage-based sliding scale instead of simply factoring overhead into menu prices? A business's operating costs belong in the food price, not in fine-print menu line items. Stop the pricing shenanigans and just display what things actually cost upfront.
