Nice indoor casual seating near fireplace & outside seating with fire pits and bay views. Enjoyed delicious bacon, cheeseburger, fish & chips, crispy fries with spicy roulade sauce. Great bar drinks and friendly server.

Bartenders are great and drinks are on point. Gotta try the Gunpowder Irish Gin on the rocks. So tasty. The food is yummy. Gotta come here!

Came here a couple times while staying at the resort. Located right off the lobby, you can sit at the bar, inside lounge area, or outside. There are tables outside on the upper level and some couches on the lower level. You're harder to see on the lower level so you may have to alert servers that you're there, especially at night when it's dark. We had the Caesar salad, burger, fish and chips, and truffle fries. The burger and fries were tasty and the fish and salad were fine. The views and ambience were really nice. The service was friendly and helpful. Average size prices and portions for a resort in this area. $10 parking if you are just staying a couple of hours and not overnight.

HANGING OUT IN THE CAYS (3.8 stars) After taking the 22' Hurricane Powerboat out on the water for some spins, we decided to continue drinking and get something to eat around the Coronado Cays and found ourselves at the resort. Fancy resort lounge wasn't our main pick of a restaurant but since we were at the Cays already why the heck not! The menu had offerings we all liked and we were fine with eating there regardless of inflated resort lounge prices. ENDLESS SUMMER ($15) - Summer citrus vodka, Lillet Blanc, mint, sparkling lime & yuzu, grapefruit, aromatics & botanicals from our garden. Lol our entire table ordered an endless summer because we didn't want our summer to end. It was so freshening! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAMBURGER ($12) - I ordered from the kids meal section because I in general eat small portions and hate ordering large portions and food going to waste. The meal did come with fries. Basically, it's The Cays burger minus all the burger fixings and half the price but portion was mosdef generous to be a kids meal. When it came out I was surprised and satisfied. It was a kids meal so obviously no medium rare meat. The bun was lightly toasted and good fluff and texture. It was a basic burger and I had requested to add some lettuce, it wasn't the most amazing burger ever but it was fair! The fries were perfectly crispy. RECOMMEND. JUMBO SHRIMP COCKTAIL ($22) - Spicy cocktail sauce, lemon. Pricy for 5 pieces of jumbo prawns. But the prawns were super good! I considered ordering another order but was already full. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Honestly, some people overlook hotel lounges because they are pricy. But in Metropolitan cities I've lived in I found comfort hanging out at hotel lounges - if that be eating, drinking, or just shooting the ish with friends or colleagues. It's a different feel and I'm into it. JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Was here for a meeting at the lovely Loew's Coronado Hotel and was able to grab a bite at the Lounge. Cheeseburger hit the spot and service was on point as we placed our orders prior to when they open at noon as we seated ourselves at 11:30 letting the bartender know that we had a meeting at 1 pm. Order was received 15 mins after opening which was fantastic.

The fact that this is salad was $21.00 is absolutely absurd. No wow experience at all, should honestly be ashamed of yourselves for offering something like this.

This lounge in the main lobby of the Loews Coronado resort was fantastic. Great service, beautifully decorated for the holidays (massive gingerbread house), and amazing cocktails. My favorite part of relaxing in the lounge after a long day was the amazing musician that played keyboard and sang beautifully. They have live music Saturday. Didn't want to leave.. so good! They had a massive tv where my happy husband was able to watch college football while sipping his old fashioned. This resort is located a few miles from downtown Coronado so it is really isolated which makes it important to have a good lounge/bar area since leaving the hotel Is a hassle.

Came by for some drinks, dessert, and the views. The churros are yummy, and not too sweet! We ordered a Cadillac margarita and it was really good - you could actually taste the alcohol... unlike most places :) our waitress was very nice and super attentive. She checked on us many times!

We just arrived. First stop: Cays Lounge!

This is a very nice bar inside the lobby at Loews in Coronado. We always get special attention here, but this time it was provided by Scott. He's just so mellow and interesting. He is friendly and professional and just nice to chat with. We also always seem to meet other really nice folks who are also staying at Loews. The drinks are great as is the food. My favorite part is that my dog can join me in the bar. I can't recommend this place any higher, especially if you just want a low key - convivial experience.

    Perfect setting! Perfect Old Fashions

Great place! Wonderful seating on the patio with the bay right in front of you! Comfy chairs and couches and fire pit tables. We loved our Old Fashions and the Baja tacos servers were friendly too!

Cant beat the views for a nice relaxing night in at the hotel. Sangria was so so. Meat and cheese plate was satisfying but higher price point for what we got. Overall, I think it was worth it just for the ambiance

The cheesy patty on rye bread was still delicious, and there were more fries than I could eat. Not much of a crowd except for the comics themselves, maybe 10-12 with a very entertaining host in between. All were good but many were hilarious including a first-timer. Fun vibe for sure, I would happily go again. I deducted one star because as a new guest, I asked the bartender if they had any special house cocktails. She seemed to hear the word special and thought I meant cheap. I said not necessarily cheap, but do you have any interesting house cocktails here. She said no, so I ordered something boring. Then I got the food menu which on the back had an entire list of house cocktails. But service overall was excellent.

This particular occasion, myself and another patron sat down at the bar and waited....and waited...and..... Finally I asked the cook if there was a bartender. Now wouldnt you think that IF the bar was closed at a Bar and Grill they would maybe close the doors and not let people sit there and wait for somebody that never shows up? Just a thought. I dont know if they changed ownership possibly, but this kind of (lack of) service is not going to fly with the general public. Its a shame. I use to love this place.

I mean, people totally still watch sports here of course and so do I, but what I mean is the space is bright and expansive, the location is lovely, and the monitors are ginormous. More importantly, the food and drinks are at least somewhat interesting. Not even sure if I've had hard kombucha before. I probably have, but I don't remember. These are largely light, sour, and fruity, which are the sort of alcohol I've been addicted to lately anyways. And they have cool fruits like dragonfruit and lychee. The bowls and fruit salad were what originally caught my eye. I was not feeling a berry salad, so I got a carne asada bowl, and it was delicious. The steak was soft and peppery, and the ratio of ingredients was well balanced. The hummus, kale, and salsas made for a fun Mediterranean flavor, and the basmati rice was fluffy and consistent. It's sad, but it's hard to find an Asian restaurant in town that makes a rice bowl this good.

One of my longtime buddies invited me to join him and several of our other lifelong friends to eat…read moredinner, hang out, and watch our Padres at Coronado Brewing Company, which he had been wanting to check out. This was my first time dining at Coronado Brewing and besides having a blast with my buddies, my son and nephew joined us for blessed quality family time. My buddies are into breweries and drinking flights of the breweries' craft beer, so I know why my best friend of more than 5 decades chose this restaurant. I enjoyed my first time here because of the yummy food, having an excuse to visit Coronado, and our young Asian waitress Drea provided friendly and outstanding customer service. Coronado Brewing is located in beautiful, coastal Coronado, CA. It can be found on the far north end of Orange Avenue. The easiest way to get there would be to take the Coronado Bay Bridge or you can drive the Silver Strand. The restaurant is a short walk from Nicky Rottens, several steps from Saiko Sushi, it's just down from Coronado Hardware and Fire Station Venue, it's across from the Coronado Southern Baptist Church, and it's directly across from a market. Parking could be challenging because it's street parking, but Coronado is a safe neighborhood, so a short walk shouldn't be a problem. It's a popular eatery, which means you might have to wait to be seated. As you enter Coronado Brewing, you'll see how spacious it is with booth seating, bartop seating, and tabletop seating. There are framed pics of florals, booths decorated with coastal fauna, decorative lighting, ceiling fans, and a brick fire pit. I didn't think there were enough televisions to cheer on our Padres. Our waitress Drea was stellar, she had a vibrant personality, and she provided notable customer service. Unlike my buddies, I couldn't tell you the difference between craft beer or store bought beer, but my pals are craft beer aficionados. I can tell that my buddies really enjoyed the flights of craft beer they ordered from Coronado Brewing. If you're like my buddies, then I recommend you try out this restaurant. I joined my friends to catch up with them, support our Padres, bond with my family, and to try Coronado Brewing's food. Looking at their menu, pricing is reasonable and they serve the following: Pub Favorites, Tacos, Burgers & Sandwiches, Salads, Wood-Fired Pizzas, Main Courses, and Desserts. I had eaten a filling lunch, so I wasn't too hungry, but I did share a Nachos Borrachos, Fish & Chips, Meat Lover's Pizza, MooTime Ice Cream Cake, and a Brownie Sundae. The nachos borrachos were satisfying with its carnitas pulled pork over fresh tortilla chips, finger licking delish with its jalapeño beer-cheese, and just a tasty starter. I shared the fish and chips with my son, which had a tasty batter and I enjoyed the accompanying garlic fries. The meat lover's pizza had a good amount of protein, but I thought the crust could have been more firm. The ice cream cake and brownie sundae are must orders because they were decadent, there was an abundant amount of chocolate, and they were rich in flavor. I had a blessed time experiencing Coronado Brewing Company for the first time with some of my closest friends and my family. I really enjoyed what I ate, but I definitely need to experience their other entrees the next time we visit.

( I think the hostess name was bri) We're happy to wait when needed, but fairness and respectful communication matter. This experience definitely didn't match what we're used to here.
