Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The service was extremely slow. We waited far too long just to receive our drinks, and throughout the meal our server rarely checked on our table. We had to ask for basic items like utensils because no one noticed we didn't have any. To make matters worse, we ordered chips and guacamole as an appetizer, but they didn't arrive until the same time as our entrées, completely defeating the purpose of ordering an appetizer. The food itself may have had potential, but the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. A restaurant should ensure timely service, check on guests periodically, and serve courses in the proper order. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark in all of those areas. We were invited to this cantina for happy hour specials. My friend and her adult daughters were looking for a place to meet my adult daughter and me for lite bites. I try not to be a Yelp Elite All Star snob when these decisions are made, so I was happy that my friend chose a place without me looking it up on Yelp. ...Little did we know that this is a "Mexican Hooters", as one of the male customers at the table next to us said. The waitresses are barely clad in clothing and all have their boobs and butts hanging out of their uniforms. The waitresses, however, are very professional, kind, and upbeat. Our server was Dianamy and she was very customer service oriented. She was patient with the male customers constantly gawking and trying to grab her body. The men were all were tipsy and getting touchy with the waitresses. The food was not very good at all. The happy hour drinks were not good. I was given a recycled drink that was spat into (see photo) and I did not touch it nor drink it, gross. The check was split in 2 and there were additional drinks on both checks that we did not order. Our server took it off of my bill and she was good about it and apologized. This is more of a low budget "titty bar". So, if you're interested in the kind of environment where they have: a bunch of big screen TVs, a lot of liquor, loud stripper or Mexican music, cold and tasteless food coming to your table, and women dressed in nothing serving you, this is your jam. My friend have been raving about this place and since I am getting more and more into NFL and Fifa I decided to go with them this time and let me say it did not disappoint! When I walked in, I was greeted right away by 3 different employees. I found my table and sat down with my group. The high top table had these square chairs that were a little hard to maneuver in and out of but we made it work. There were tvs playing every sport and it really had the whole restaurant excited. We started off with appetizers, the Fried Jalapeño and fried pickles, the nachos and the street corn skillet. The fried jalapeños were fried perfectly with a nicely seasoned breading, the Fried pickles were cut at little too this for my liking.. butpaired with a ranch dip, it really solidified them. The nachos has great guacamole but not the best chips honestly and the street corn was good, not my favorite or the best but decent. I Burger was also a decent burger but there's definitely better out there. Thee service was a bit slow but I think there were just a lot of tables and they dont want to interrupt the game. Quick little stop for me and the hubby. So we had been hearing about this place and I just had to see it for myself. Yes yes the girls are half naked, but no different than what you see at the beach in bikinis. The girls were nice great service and always attentive. The food was whatever. We got the buffalo wings and they were nothing mind blowing. The main thing here is the drinks and the music some would say the eye candy. It was a chill spot to come for drinks and hear some really good music. That part I enjoyed the music was a good assortment from latin to ghetto fab they were bumpin. I'm originally from Texas and don't know many people out here yet, so great customer service really stands out to me. On my first visit, Abby took great care of me at the bar. Was hesitant about taking the wifey but I got the courage to and opened the door for her! She was greeted with welcoming staff and she walked right in. She didn't know how to respond but saw that she was curious as well. We were seated and the wonderful waitress with a big smile introduced herself to my wife. We opened the conversation with what kind of drinks we would like for lunch. We had menu options offered in a for of laminated sheet front and back. I the got the courage to as the waitress if would be able to take a picture of her and my wife together to break down the ice barrier and she amazingly was very pleased and very willing to do that for us. That being said my wife finally felt comfortable and being their. All that being said the atmosphere was amazing and the food is to go for if you have the courage to step inside and let your mind be open to a new experience in dining. Used to come here once a month good place to catch a game some food and drinks. This place is becoming a shit hole, service is bad really bad. Came in stud waiting to be seated about 3 min will the host was cleaning menus and talking to a coworker. Finally got seated and waited more than 10 min for the server that was taking care of the tables around me but not mine. Sadly with this service Im not going back... they are not the only bar with this theme, Taco de Ojo is now the place to go. Sad so sad but I guess they think they are all that and they ate not. If you like to wait 25 plus minutes for a drink this is the place. Came in to watch the first world cup game between Mexico and South Africa. Host took me to my table, waitress came and asked if I wanted to order a drink. I ordered a michelada to start. Took 14 mins to get my drink. Ordered a second drink and took along time again. At that point I knew service was going to be bad. At halftime of the soccer game I ordered a bucket of beer. It took them 36 minutes to get a bucket of beer. After asking multiple times, waitress brings 6 opened loose beers. I asked about the bucket, she said they were out. I told her purpose of the bucket is to keep my beers cold. She brought me a cup of ice. Ordered the chips and dip trio and spicy buffalo wings. Food was decent and came out fairly quick. In all, I would rate this two stars. Not sure if I would come back to watch another game here. Also, waitresses all over the place. They bring drinks to wrong tables and and charge to your tab. Very unorganized. I closed first account t with.my first server. After that my friend andni ordered 3 beers each. Waitress brought us the bill with a charge of 12 beers. I told them server it was wrong. Waitress brought the supervisor. I told supervisor it was wrong. She gave me a excuse that I had ordered from three different servers. I was right below a camera and told her, I want to see the video where they bring a total of 12 beers. Back when I was in the Navy we used to go to places like Hooters or the Tilted Kilt. This was mainly between 2000-2010. Fast forward today's generation and their "cancel culture" has led to many of these places closing down. It's just a different generation. So when one of my old Navy buddies recommended we come to this place to watch the fight and get some food it was a breath of fresh air. It felt like it did back in the day where we can get some good food, watch a lot of sports while having pretty girls take our orders and bring our food. It's the kind of place that guys used to frequent all the time. Places with good food, tons of sports and pretty girls. We ordered beers & they were perfectly cold. We ordered the lemon pepper wings & they were delicious! I was surprised.
