Ashley was so gracious she greeted us with a smile and I must say this is a better version of that other bar with the orange colors who thanks to the arrival of Ojos Locos their time has come and gone! My friend have been raving about this place and since I am getting more and more into NFL and Fifa I decided to go with them this time and let me say it did not disappoint! When I walked in, I was greeted right away by 3 different employees. I found my table and sat down with my group. The high top table had these square chairs that were a little hard to maneuver in and out of but we made it work. There were tvs playing every sport and it really had the whole restaurant excited. We started off with appetizers, the Fried Jalapeño and fried pickles, the nachos and the street corn skillet. The fried jalapeños were fried perfectly with a nicely seasoned breading, the Fried pickles were cut at little too this for my liking.. butpaired with a ranch dip, it really solidified them. The nachos has great guacamole but not the best chips honestly and the street corn was good, not my favorite or the best but decent. I Burger was also a decent burger but there's definitely better out there. Thee service was a bit slow but I think there were just a lot of tables and they dont want to interrupt the game. Recently went to Ojos Locos and I have to share my experience. I wasn't expecting much to be great considering it's a sports bar. However, our server Elly. A very blonde nice young woman. She was not only very personable and funny... she knew her stuff! She recommended the wings and they were cooked perfectly and just enough sauce. Quick little stop for me and the hubby. So we had been hearing about this place and I just had to see it for myself. Yes yes the girls are half naked, but no different than what you see at the beach in bikinis. The girls were nice great service and always attentive. The food was whatever. Used to come here once a month good place to catch a game some food and drinks. This place is becoming a shit hole, service is bad really bad. Came in stud waiting to be seated about 3 min will the host was cleaning menus and talking to a coworker. Finally got seated and waited more than 10 min for the server that was taking care of the tables around me but not mine. Sadly with this service Im not going back... they are not the only bar with this theme, Taco de Ojo is now the place to go. Sad so sad but I guess they think they are all that and they ate not. Was hesitant about taking the wifey but I got the courage to and opened the door for her! She was greeted with welcoming staff and she walked right in. She didn't know how to respond but saw that she was curious as well. We were seated and the wonderful waitress with a big smile introduced herself to my wife. We opened the conversation with what kind of drinks we would like for lunch. We had menu options offered in a for of laminated sheet front and back. I the got the courage to as the waitress if would be able to take a picture of her and my wife together to break down the ice barrier and she amazingly was very pleased and very willing to do that for us. That being said my wife finally felt comfortable and being their. All that being said the atmosphere was amazing and the food is to go for if you have the courage to step inside and let your mind be open to a new experience in dining. In a nutshell- food was okay, service was terrible, laid back vibe, average prices, huge sport bar/cantina, lots of TVs everywhere, table/bar seating, and a lot of eye candy. It's like a Mexican version of hooters or Tilted kilt without the customer service. Came on a weekday and the place was not that busy. We were seated right away, given menus, and watched 4-6 female servers walk around for over 30 minutes without even taking our drink order. A spot at the bar opened and we took our chances there, in hopes to get drinks started. We ordered our drinks and food since we had plenty of time to look at the menu already. That was pretty much it for human interaction, and we were never checked on again. We had to ask for the check, paid, and left. Meeehhh, was not impressed with this place at all. Back when I was in the Navy we used to go to places like Hooters or the Tilted Kilt. This was mainly between 2000-2010. Fast forward today's generation and their "cancel culture" has led to many of these places closing down. It's just a different generation. So when one of my old Navy buddies recommended we come to this place to watch the fight and get some food it was a breath of fresh air. It felt like it did back in the day where we can get some good food, watch a lot of sports while having pretty girls take our orders and bring our food. It's the kind of place that guys used to frequent all the time. Places with good food, tons of sports and pretty girls. If this is something you miss when it comes to hanging out with friends then this is definitely the place for you. We ordered beers & they were perfectly cold. We ordered the lemon pepper wings & they were delicious! I was surprised. Disappointing Service at Ojos Locos I visited Ojos Locos around 8:50 PM and had a pretty bad experience with the service. I ordered a beer from the bartender, Aiyana, and got my drink fairly quickly. I also asked her for a food menu and even hinted that I'd be ordering food. She disappeared for 20 minutes without checking in or bringing the menu. When she finally came back, she didn't acknowledge the delay, never brought the menu, and didn't have a welcoming attitude at all. She was rude, unapproachable, and lacked any sense of hospitality. It felt like I was bothering her just by being there. I get that places get busy, but basic customer service should still be a priority. Definitely won't be coming back if this is the standard of service they allow. read more
