This place recently opened up & is hidden on the back end of Rye Ridge Plaza. So glad I found it! The people who work there are so so nice & the food is delicious!!! The size of the portions for the price you pay is insane. I love that they offer black lentils as a base instead of just rice like so many other places (although the basmati rice is very tempting). I'm also not a huge chicken fan, so it's refreshing to have a choice of lamb cooked 2 different ways (they have chicken as well). You can also mix 2 diff proteins. You could go a few times a week & have a very different meal each time just by switching up proteins & sauces. I love the drink options, I'm a little obsessed with the beet lemonade which is sweetened with cane sugar. I've been twice in a week & I'm sure I will be back soon. read more

I've been a loyal cava customer for a while now and have been to this location before and haven't had a problem. However, today I placed a mobile order to pick up and have never felt more ripped off. My bowl was only maybe 1/4 filled and the falafel and chicken was old and rock hard. I called the location and they refunded me immediately but that didn't help the fact that I now didn't have a dinner plus spent about 45 minutes driving out of my way to pick it up. read more

Absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service at this location and the people who work there. We ordered some pitas and some dips and when we arrived home we were missing two of the dips. I attempted to contact the store manager who told me that he could not help me because they were not set up to give refunds or credits. I could come back to get the dips. As this was not convenient, I declined. I emailed customer service and they reiterated that they could not credit me the amount of money for the items that were missing. Austin who responded to my email, needs to learn a thing or two about Customer Service. He said that he would credit me the amount of the missing dips for my troubles. When I went to redeem the credit amount, I found there was nothing under my rewards. Apparently this company has no idea how to operate and in this digital age, needs to work a little bit on how their transactions are completed. They are clueless. read more

This is a new place that opened in December that we tried out for the first time last night with the family. What a great experience. The concept is great where you select your options to build your meal and the food quality and flavors are outstanding. Concept is like dig-inn but just better in both setup and quality of food. Skip Chipotle. Cava offers FANTASTIC food, AMAZING customer service, (Shamika explained the whole menu), and fair prices. We got bowls that were full of delicious grains (brown rice and black lentil) fresh seasonal veggies, and house made hummus. They also have a pita option that I'll try next time. Amazing options for vegan eaters, vegetarians, and meat eaters. naturally sweetened drinks ( blueberry, fresh ciders) and teas. Will be coming back many times. read more

I ordered on the website and reached when the website said my order would be ready. Staff asked me to wait as they had not started on the order. for the next 10 minutes they then continued to process drop ins customers. Only after I reminded them again did they work on my order. While working on the order they discovered that they were out of falafel for the day. This was at lunch. The food was good. Enjoyed spicy mutton and the grilled chicken. Would go back again for the food. The staff apologized for their error and gave me a coupon for a free pita next time. read more

We went to this restaurant during the week because we were craving Mediterranean food. I ordered braised lamb on a pita bread with hummus and vegetables. Food was lame. Coming from the Middle East, I can say that this food is completely unauthentic. Plus it was expensive for such unacceptable quality. This is why I am rating it with two stars. I am only keeping it for two stars taking into consideration the workers there are very nice and the place is very clean. It's too bad that the food is bland kind of low quality for such good place and nice staff. I'm at Cava 5 times a week and there is enough variety to keep it new. It is my go to spot whenever I'm hungry and there is no food at home.

This place was so bad. The employees were very rude and when i asked them simple questions about the food they rolled their eyes and didn't act amicably. The food was not fresh and everything left a bad after taste in my mouth. I highly recommend skipping a meal here because i was very disappointed. read more

I was very disappointed upon visiting this location. It was dirty and unorganized. There were giant bags of hummus and huge bins of salad sitting out in the open on the front counter. I'm assuming both should have been refrigerated. I waited on line for several minutes. When it was my turn to order I was told they were out of take away bowls. I stood there not sure what to say since I was planning on taking my meal to go. He didn't have a solution so I assumed he was telling me that I couldn't be served but it was very unclear what I was supposed to do. He only said his manager was out getting more bowls. I couldn't understand how they could run out of such a fundamental instrument to their business. I was about to leave when another employee interrupted and said there was a stash of bowls under the counter. As I began placing my order I was horrified by the condition of the food. The hummus was a soupy liquid probably from sitting out on the counter for hours. Half of the containers were empty. There was food dropped all over the counter. When I remarked how dirty everything was I was told they were too busy to clean at which point I walked out mid-order. I understand they had a rush and the staff was working hard but that is no excuse for the condition that place was in. I will stick to the Greenwich location in the future. read more
