I got the harrasa chicken with grain and greens. With CAVA you can get the sour, spicy, sweet and savory all in one dish. Saw this place after a doctors appointment and what a great unexpected find! It was my first time coming to a CAVA and the process is very similar to chipotle. You go down the line and pick your base which can be greens, grains or both. You can see all the options on the glass and the folks working there will help you out if you're struggling. There was no dine in option so we ended up eating outside on top of our car trunk. Accidentally stumbled upon Cava a week or two ago and I am so happy that I did. Cava has incredible portions, wholesome foods, and knowledge employees all at around the same price you would pay for chipotle. I did a salad and grain bowl with falafel and about a million toppings. The food tasted incredible and it came with a warm pita! The only thing I regret is not trying one of their many naturally sweetened drinks. I wish there were more Cava's in New England because I would be visiting them weekly! Until then, I will be sure to stop by whenever I am traveling in the area. read more

Always an amazing time at Cava. I absolutely love this place- the Mediterranean chipotle basically. Tons of fresh options and you can have a greens or grains bowl or mix and match. The ingredients are so fresh and amazing and the price point is perfect. The drink selection is great too- their lightly sweetened tumeric lemonade is delicious. Just finished a meal with my wife at the Rye location. From the moment we exited the car, it was downhill. The front of the store has blinds pulled, looking like it is closed. Yes, it might be sunny but, sure seems like they are trying to turn people away. Kids working here are unattentive and quick to slather unwanted items onto our bowl while trying to rush us out the door. No bottled water in the location? Really? Tap water tastes like they just ran bleach through their ice machine and is absolutely disgusting, not to mention likely dangerous. The kitchen in the back is crazy loyd, leaving a quaint place to become a place where a civil conversation cannot be had due to the noise. The place is simply disgusting with regard to upkeep. Having worked in multiple restaurants, if my staff neglee we cited the cleanliness of my store and bathrooms like these folks do, I would fire them immediately. Retrain these folks or risk losing your franchise as these are major issue with customers who expect Cava to be quality food in a clean, hospitable environment. read more

I would not recommend using the app for take out. I used the app for the first time and ordered 2 bowls, both were half empty. What gets me is that they were salad bowls and there was barely any lettuce in there. Out of all things, they were cheap on the lettuce! Also cabbage was missing, wrong dressing included and I requested the dressing on the side but the bowl was clearly drenched in dressing. It was so saturated that I couldn't finish it. Worse part is I drove 30 min to pick it up. This was never the case when I ordered in person, but this was a disappointment. read more

The food is ok, but the staff is awful. They have cards which list the ingredients for each salad they need to make and yet they never include the same required ingredients in their salads. On any given day the quantity a particular server puts into a salad varies. The folks who work here don't seem to care much about customer service or about providing a positive customer experience. On the contrary, they seem annoyed that have to fulfill your order. The run out of staples frequently,, sometimes they can't take cash or other times they can't take credit cards. It's a very unprofessional way to run a business. It's also on the high end of the pricing for comparable salads. This staff is in dire need of training on all counts! read more

Ordered on the online app, it said the food would be ready at 12:30. We were in a very tight schedule (which is why we pre-ordered online), and when we got there at 12:45 the salad still wasn't ready. I then proceeded to wait until 1:20!!!! Until my salad was made and ready, at which point they told me that they ran out of the dressing I requested. They didn't care whatsoever that they were 50 mins late and they ran out of dressing. Cava is currently one of my favorite places to eat. Their food is so fresh and you can see into the incredibly clean kitchen. Honestly I had low expectations when a friend recommended "Mediterranean fast food." I feel that fast food typically has a bad/unhealthy connotation and with Cava that is definitely not the case. Portions and price are fair for the food you are getting. The grain bowls are especially generous. I typically try to go before or after the lunch rush when there's no line and you get your food SO quickly. Plenty of tables to eat at. Their seasonal juices and teas are amazing!!! My favorites are any of the mint lemonade ones. So so good. HIGHLY recommend getting the app. It is so easy to use and saves your orders so it takes less than a minute to repeat your go-to order. You can pick the time of pick-up in increments of 15 minutes which is nice. They have your order on the wall next to the register so all you have to do is walk in, pick it up and you're good to go. Great location with plenty of parking. Service is always incredible. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and give helpful recommendations. Always attentive. On a few occasions my takeout order was not ready at the pick up time but all 3 times this happened I simply mentioned it to the cashier and they bumped my order to the front of the line and gave it to me right away. read more

Was there on Friday late afternoon. I was the only one there in line to order- had to wait 10-12 minutes before someone came to assist. I saw the workers laughing & talking in the back before someone came to assist me and when she ( lady with false eyelashes) did come- she was not customer friendly at all. Healtier eating in a dirty restaurant seems to be the theme in this Rye branch of Cava. Having been here on several occasion I noticed that the staff seemed to have a problem with keeping tables and floors clean at this Cava. It is so annoying to see this repeated problem which had at one time made me to decide on going to Dig Inn, another healthier eatery just on the other side of the same strip mall. This problem with unclean tables and floors can be seen on both weekdays and weekends even at a time when there were very few customers. read more

This is one of those situations where I wish Yelp let you give half stars because I think Cava deserves 4.5 stars. It's very tasty, and the offerings are very customizable, including lots of options for those with dietary restrictions. I've ordered from here three times now, each different meals, and all orders both arrived on time and the ingredients seemed fresh. My one complaint is that compared to other fast-casual customizable meals at similar price points, the potions are a little small, which is why I put four stars. read more

My husband and I venture to a lot of Cavas, especially when we travel, and this by far our favorite. The staff is so friendly-especially Rich who always keeps the line moving efficiently but nicely-, the food always tastes better than other locations, and it's very clean. I love their greens and grains bowl post-gym or anytime I'm wanting something healthy and delicious. Some may say it's minimalistic - plain, even- I say it absolutely, 100% slaps. The best dressing is the harissa what's its name it's like orange pink - fire. Sometimes the workers go light on the pita chips and I say no, no, no. Don't be shy, put some more. No shade on the workers though, they are the light of my life. Today's lunch was a little disappointing , first the customer service was lacking as there were 2 people working there that clearly didn't want to be there . Second the bowl I got w greens/grains was not that good. The lentils were hard , not their usual taste. This is not the norm for this place hopefully it will come back up next time I visit . read more
