Came here on a weekend for dinner. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, beautiful, and warm atmosphere! The place was nearly empty. The service and food were amazing! The food arrived quickly and was fresh. I had the Turquoise Delight with veggies, rice, and creamy hummus. The textures were perfect, and the flavors were bright without feeling heavy. My friends had Turquoise a la Turka. Additionally, their menu has many options to offer, including gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free options. It's hard to find a spot that is allergy safe and this good. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Larchmont Westchester. read more

Came here on a Tuesday and had a nice time. We walked in and gave a hearty "Merhaba" but there were no Turkish speakers at the front of the house so were were a little apprehensive but everything turned out just fine. We started with a few appetizers...the esme was the highlight. It was spicy and delicious and I could have just had that for a meal. The borek was pretty good but the phyllo dough could have been crisper. Grilled shrimp were decent but the real star was a little side on the dish. I don't know what it was, but it was very good. We split the mixed grill for our main course. Everything was good. The pilaf was amazing. I really liked the chicken and the doner. It was a school night so we didn't have any drinks, but there is an extensive drinks menu. Service was super friendly, there was nice Turkish music playing and dinner didn't break the bank. The design and decor is nice and by the bar there is a lounge area that would be perfect for sitting and having some Turkish tea or a cocktail. Will definitely return. read more

The food was typical to this cuisine. Nothing special, nothing bad. Just mediocre although the hummus was fine and the pita bread fresh and plentiful once we asked for more. The main courses were likewise adequate but not good enough to warrant a return visit unless you were already in the area. The wait staff was attentive but not very experienced. Had the pleasure of visiting turquoise last week , cute little restaurant in larchmont. We sat on the big couch to the right or the entrance, don't be fooled and flop down on it the way we did , it looks cushiony but it's not lol . The wine was so delicious I broke my diet and had a few glasses , the owner recommended the wine he said it was new . The lamb chops were the best I've ever had , so tender and delicious with incredible clean flavors , we also ordered the sigara borek ,imam bayildi, falafel . Great Owner nice people food a bit bland but it was a Sunday so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The stand out was the shrimp appetizer that was delicious. Whole Branzino very dry and not much seasoning same with the salmon. They had great sauces on the side which helped . Lamb also dry . I finally tried this place and was pleasantly surprised with how tasty and flavorful the food is. I really enjoyed the Lamb Beyti and grilled octopus and look forward to trying new dishes. I could not recommend this restaurant more! We arrived super unprepared on a Friday night, but they made room for us and made us feel so welcome. The food was incredible! My friend had been craving lamb, and they cooked it so well. Their yogurt sauce was some of the best she ever had. On my dish, the eggplant was my favorite part. They absolutely nailed the texture, which I personally find very difficult. Also, they have the BEST baklava ANY of us had ever had!!! They were so kind and joyful, and nearly all of the staff acknowledged us and thanked us for coming on our way out. I don't live in the area, but I would DEFINITELY come again anyways! I had my usual which was humus with pita bread. The humus is smooth and delicious. A great combination for the pita bread. Then order the grilled chicken kebabs which was a classic for me when I am not starving just hungry. It hit the spot. Satisfying my hunger and not making me full. The two sauces amplified the chicken kebabs. The sauces were to have your meal spicy or mild. I hate to give a subpar review but we were disappointed in the food. It lacked love and wasn't very tasty. We got the cold mezze plate - the babaganoush didn't have flavor and the rest was underwhelming. Also had falafel (not great either unfortunately) and the schwarma (oily, like pools of oil). Came here with my bf the other day. The food was okay. I didn't like the fact they didn't have real Turkish bread. I expected the fluffy Turkish ciabbata but instead we got gyro stand pitas. We got the calamari which was EXTREMELY rubbery. It is the second worst calamari I ever tasted, being that sea shore's was my first worst. But at least the sauce was not marinara and yummy. Now for the food my bf got doner kabob and I got the adana. The doner tasted like it was boiled with no seasonings and had no taste whatsoever The Adana (I left the worst for last) was actually delicious! Until I found a hair wrapped around my second piece. My lady and I honeymooned around Turkey and the food at Turquoise would be right at home there. Everything is quite fresh and well-prepared. The octopus puts Evvia to shame and the lamb chops are really good. What's more, the place is lively and a lot of fun. Even has great take out. Finally came here for a weekend dinner, this has now become a spot I will go to regularly. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. Some of the friendliest waitstaff I have encountered. Our waiter was there doing what waiters are supposed to do- "wait" on us. I wish I got his name because I would ask for him again, he was incredible. He stood by observant; our dirty plates were cleared quickly, our water glasses never hit empty, our food and drink came out very fast. As for the food, just as fantastic. Both the Cold Meze Platter and Hot Meze Platter are must haves to start your meal. A little bit of everything comes in these platters, great dishes for a great value. I settled on the Iskender Kebab/ Swarma. This great dish was loaded with tender perfectly spiced thin slices of lamb with a tasty tomato sauce, hot pita, and some yogurt on the side. Awesome dish, will probably be my go-to. Everyone I was with also enjoyed their meals, we are already planning our return. Highly recommend visiting this place if in the area and want something a little off the beaten path with great service. Can't ask for much more than great food and great service. read more

Great Middle Eastern/Turkish place. Baba ganoush to die for! They do take-out but the inside is really nice and the service great.

The restaurant was great, the people working there, not as friendly as I hoped. No frills decor,and dark. We started with babaganus, very good! Sigara Borek, friedpastries, nice and hot almost burned my mouth, but extremely salty. Not a fan. Entrees were very good, Beyti was fabulous and size was perfect, I was full but not overstuffed. The doner chicken was good, but Iskender Kebab, (lamb) I have never eaten a dish like this before, so I am on the fence on this one. The spicy tomato sauce as a table side, was great.. Coffee after was excellent,with the grinds too. Definitely would give this place another go. read more
