We decided to stop here for a late lunch after the museum. Cava has been on my list for the longest time since I've heard so many people talk about it. When we arrived, the place was practically empty except for one customer. There are many seats available and reminded me of Chipotle. We weren't sure what to get so ended up picking one of the chef-curated bowls - Harissa Avocado since it was a fan fave. It also came with a small pita bread. The bowl had the perfect amount of chicken and other ingredients - cucumber and tomato mix. Also enjoyed the vinaigrette that was used. This bowl was more than enough for the both of us since we weren't too hungry. I would like to try Steak+Harissa next time I stop by or even build my own bowl. The employee who helped us was friendly and efficient!

I wish we had a place like this (or Cava) in Vegas. My bowl was fresh and I truly enjoyed.

Kids Pita Meal

Another "TikTok made me do it" review! Today's Saturday Selection: CAVA. The location was clean, bright, and welcoming. I ordered the Kid's Pita Meal, which comes with your choice of brown or white rice plus pita chips. I went with the white rice. Let me brag on those homemade pita chips paired with the tzatziki. When I say it was a vibe I never saw coming. Golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Inside my pita, I loaded up with grilled chicken, fire-roasted corn, the tomato/cucumber mix, dill yogurt, and Greek vinaigrette. The flavors blended so well together. The kid's meal also includes a drink, and I tried the Cucumber Mint Lime. It was refreshing and surprisingly addicting. Shout-out to TikTok for the recommendation. I can't wait to go back and try different combinations. Next on my list: pairing the Crazy Feta with those pita chips. The portion was just enough to satisfy my appetite without feeling heavy. Verdict: #FlavorChaserApproved

My Bowl: saffron rice and harissa chicken

I love Cava and the bowl I got Uptown was the best yet! Idk what they did but it was the tastiest ever. The location is in the middle of the city so I enjoyed a nice view as well. The staff were very friendly :)

I love eating at Cava, it's fresh and well worth the value. There's not one thing that I've had off the menu that I haven't enjoy.

Yikes, falafel bowl and chewy chicken. During lunch plan on waiting forever for your online order with unpleasant staff. Hard pass.

The restaurant is located in a complex that is pretty busy, and parking is pretty tight. I would recommend parking in the garage behind the restaurant or trying to snag a spot in the Trader Joe's parking lot. We made reservations on Saturday morning for Saturday evening, and the restaurant was busy but not too packed. Our server was attentive and very helpful. The ambiance is very nice, and the restaurant is decorated pretty well. We started with several appetizers and a couple of cocktails. We got the lamb meatballs, the hummus, the calamari, and the roasted cauliflower. All of it was delicious. For entrees, we got the adana kebab, the salmon kebab, and the cheese pizza thing (forgot the actual name!). All of it was delicious but the Adonna kebab was amazing. The Salman in kebab was a little bit dry and overcooked but still tasty. We will definitely be back and hopefully in the future, we can sit on the patio when the weather is nicer.

We arrived early so the restaurant was not too busy but it started to fill by the time we left. The ambience remains upscale casual with a gracious greeting as you enter. We were given one of the half moon booths that faced outward to the restaurant. I ordered the hummus as a starter and it was very good. It's a mild hummus without a strong garlic element. It was very enjoyable. The wife started with babaganoush and loved it. The dip was smoky and very flavorful. For entrees, the kid had the Caesar salad and ate everything except the croutons. The wife had the spiced meatballs and loved them. The meat was tender and the sauce was very rich. I had the chicken kabob and I was in heaven. The kabob took quite a while to prepare, but it was worth the wait. The chicken was well marinated and very flavorful. Best of all, it had a smoky flavor from the char, but the chicken remained tender and moist. It was phenomenal. I wish I could have that every night. It came with sautéed vegetables that were prepared perfectly. And it included a white rice that had a rich buttery flavor. We all enjoyed our meal very much and we were happy to return to this restaurant. I need to put it in the rotation more often.

I mean it certainly wasn't bad, but with tax and tip - 2 rounds of drinks shared apps and 2 entrees came out to be $200. I'm just so tired of Bishop Arts District doing this to its customers. Not to mention having to battle the flies inside. The Shepherds Salad was very good but I've had this salad a thousand times before and it tastes the same everywhere I've had it. I will comment positively on the Spicy Ezme dip, that was probably the most ethnic tasting dish we had that evening. The ground walnuts inside really added texture that made it really enjoyable. Everyone agreed that the Fried Cauliflower was maybe the best bite of food, despite it being heavily sauced, however we definitely recommend it. I'm not sure what was up with the Haloummi Cheese. It was a very simple dish but I couldn't get over the fishy taste I had with every bite. My wife's Chicken Adana was flavorful but dry. The rice was meh. The salad it came with just felt like something to fill the plate up with. My Ali Nazik was also ok. The beef tenderloin wasn't very remarkable, it was fine. Not sure how I felt about it drowning in all at Babaganoush but yea again, nothing we ate matched the value of the total bill. I think of Turkish food as street food in the complimentary way, so when you try to sell it to me as something upscale, it should certainly deliver as such, and it just didn't.

Fortunately, they had some space on the patio. It was a hot night however they had couple fans to blow away some heat. Food: Started with a salad which was fresh, flavorful and with large chunks of beets, watermelon, and feta cheese. Great appetizer. My wife and I wanted to try a couple of items to share for the main entree, I had branzino. The whole fish, filleted, and grilled. The flavor was rich, without being overly salty nor too oily. The sides 1. Grilled Branzino - Served with quinoa arugula salad 2. Ali Nazik- Chargrilled lamb shish over smoked eggplant puree served with bean salad on the side Both were fantastic. The lamb was cooked just right and turned out moist and tender. The eggplant puree was a great texture; neither too smooth to lose its integrity nor too chunky. The staff was attentive and helpful. Verdict: 9/10: Would definitely go back but with a reservation or in a mindset to sit in the heat on the patio. Also, the deboning process for the fish could've used a little more care, but that didn't take away from the flavor.

The good : flavors were delicious. Our server was attentive and the entire staff seemed happy to have us.The flat bread pide (at another table) looked sumptuous . Chicken shish kebab chunks were cooked well and seasoned nicely and were juicy. The complementary bread is superb. The yogurt dip that went with though was not enough for us to have more than a few bites. Needs improvement: there was no reason why the accompanying (delicious) bean and cucumber salad was 24 to 48 hours old with Limp cucumbers and parsley and flavorless tomatoes. Needs to be fresh daily and use cherry tomatoes or Campari tomatoes for flavor and crispness. Turkish Rice was meh. It was cooked properly but not a whole lot of flavor and perhaps I was expecting more of a Lebanese style pilaf with butter, nuts, spices, onions, etc. to brighten it up. Beyti minced beef had good flavor, but why did they have gristle in it? My dinner companion complains was that this was a cheap cut. The butcher supplier is not paying attention. It also could've used a little bit more sauce on the bread wrap pieces for added juiciness. We ordered the.Tzatziki yogurt dip which helped add juiciness . There was no reason why the Turkish red wine came out warm. I realize that we were in a Dallas summer at 95° at 9 PM and the restaurant was slightly warm but still. Lastly, the owners might think about mitigating the hard surfaces that reflect sound in the restaurant. It's a lively place, but we were subjected to the group of six women who were drinking enough to be loud and screechy across the room - all too common across the city -and I did not need to hear them yukking it up. The place was full on a Saturday night, which bodes well for this restaurant. The staff attitude is good, but I'm afraid this will not be a repeat for me and my companions. .

Rishi took our phone call and ensured that we had a table waiting for our group of three when we arrived. The restaurant was about 50% full when we got here. The star of my plate was of course the chicken; there was a lot of it. Large chunks that were perfectly grilled and they weren't dry. My husband ordered the Kafka Beef Plate with tabouleh and hummus. I hate that I had to remove a star but he said his hummus was "runny and watery". I was having too much fun with my food to investigate, but I'm going to take his word for it. I'm picky with hummus so I don't normally order it from random places. He'll learn someday. He also didn't like a spice that was in the Kafta. It was probably nutmeg or cumin or a combination of both. I also have learned my lesson with Mediterranean cuisine that I'm unfamiliar with. I don't like cinnamon or those pumpkin pie variety of spices in my meat so I never order anything that's beef or lamb. In their defense, I bet the meat was delicious if you like those spices. I wish they had included ketchup for my fries. I'd order from here again.
