    Kids Pita Meal
    Juana E.

Another "TikTok made me do it" review! Today's Saturday Selection: CAVA. The location was clean, bright, and welcoming. I ordered the Kid's Pita Meal, which comes with your choice of brown or white rice plus pita chips. I went with the white rice. Let me brag on those homemade pita chips paired with the tzatziki. When I say it was a vibe I never saw coming. Golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Inside my pita, I loaded up with grilled chicken, fire-roasted corn, the tomato/cucumber mix, dill yogurt, and Greek vinaigrette. The flavors blended so well together. The kid's meal also includes a drink, and I tried the Cucumber Mint Lime. It was refreshing and surprisingly addicting. Shout-out to TikTok for the recommendation. I can't wait to go back and try different combinations. Next on my list: pairing the Crazy Feta with those pita chips. The portion was just enough to satisfy my appetite without feeling heavy. Verdict: #FlavorChaserApproved

I love Cava and the bowl I got Uptown was the best yet! Idk what they did but it was the tastiest ever. The location is in the middle of the city so I enjoyed a nice view as well. The staff were very friendly :)

Cava is my secret go to spot because it hits all the marks for me as an avid fitness enthusiast who has strict nutrition goals. I'm able to pick between steak or chicken for protein and from an assortment of veggies! My favorite has to be the pickled onions, just the right amount of zest! And watch out they even have avocado if you're feeling like treating yourself. (available an extra charge) This particular location has a nice patio area and I've almost always sat outside when I visit this location. The inside seems a bit too dim for me but I bet it's the best place to be during those Texas hot summers, I'll have to report back then!

Ugh - weird combo of salads and vegetables were bitter and gross. Not coming back here again. Reminded me of a terrible roti modern cuisine.

The music is nice and you can tell they really focus on creating a beautiful Mediterranean experience. The food is completely incredible and very unique. This is not your average Greek pita place. This is a restaurant that could easily be in Turkey for some European country. We started with the Mezza platter ( $29) - which included 6 different dips. It's pricey for an appetizer, but it is definitely worth it because it's so unique and flavorful. It was probably my favorite thing that we ate. Everything felt just a little bit overpriced for what it is. My baseline comparison is Hillstones and R&D, and this is definitely Hillstone's pricing, but not the same experience overall. My wife and I shared the lamb shank and the falafel platter and also had a side of cauliflower (which was incredible). My 3 year old had the kids item which was $18!?. it was all very very good. My wife and I had a glass of wine and the average price was $18. They also had no descriptions of what style of wine it was e.g. Cabernet Sauvignon. When I asked the server, he just recommended the Caymus. The service was transactional and something you would get at most fast casual restaurants. I get that a lot of the servers are not professional servers. For the mezze platter, it would've been helpful to have an explanation of what was on it. Basically they brought the food. They took our order and that was it. Parents: they have one kids meal which included four chicken kebabs and a side of either rice or fries ($18). The price felt very steep for a kids meal. I probably would rather have had half the portion size for half the price.

We initially discovered the restaurant back in January when we dined there and immediately fell in love with the food, service, and atmosphere. That same night, we inquired about hosting a larger event (around 80 guests) and secured our April date with a deposit. From the very beginning, working with Jenna, the manager, was seamless. We communicated though text, which made planning easy and stress-free. Jenna curated a limited menu for our guests featuring popular dishes she personally recommended--chicken, beef, lamb, and vegetarian options--which made ordering simple while still offering great variety. She was also incredibly flexible with seating arrangements and accommodated exactly how I wanted guests placed. One detail I especially appreciated was her willingness to honor special requests--she arranged for a tres leches cake from a local bakery for dessert, which was a huge hit. On the day of the event, Jenna met me an hour early so I could set up extra decorations like flowers, a banner, and place cards. That extra time made a big difference and helped everything feel personal and organized. As guests arrived, we had them go directly to their assigned seats--which I highly recommend for a group this size, as it fills up quickly. The staff immediately began service with starters (hummus, salad, and bread), and they were quick to take both food and drink orders. Everything came out promptly, and the service throughout the evening was incredibly attentive and responsive. Every single guest had something positive to say about their meal and dessert, which says a lot when hosting a group this large. After dinner, the staff cleared tables efficiently, and we were able to enjoy the balcony space--an absolute highlight. It provided the perfect backdrop for photos with family, overlooking the Dallas skyline. At the end of the night, Jenna checked in with us to debrief, mentioning that the assigned seating helped her team provide faster, smoother service--which we definitely noticed. Not only did we have an amazing event, but we also felt like we built a genuine connection with her. She struck the perfect balance of being both professional and personable.
