This location's manager Malcolm made an unnecessary and condescending comment when I couldn't remember the name of the dressing I wanted on the side. He rudely tapped the glass with the menu of options when I was blanking on the name, and then said "Oh you didn't see it? It was right there. The whole time." I've never been talked to like that in customer service and I found it very distasteful and very unprofessional. The checkout employee next to him heard it as well and looked down. I'd appreciate if someone from corporate would talk to him about kindness and keeping his personal opinions to himself. First visit; Lakewood offers upfront easy parking access. My family likes the UTD location for falafel options. We did a bowl here - very good flavor but skimpy on portion size considering other locations. Spouse tried the steak - a little tough in a bowl but flavor was good. I've heard this place is pretty tasty and I've been wanting to try it! Alas, I look up randomly, and see, that it was right across the street from my favorite beer shop. Ap of course I swung by. This is basically a Greek Chipotle..but way better. Why you ask? There's so many tasty options! Theres multiple bases ranging from rice, to different salad mixes, to a healthy green base option with different green veggies. There's different flavorful meats and veggies, tons of flavorful toppings, and so many dressings I couldn't narrow it down (I ended up getting multiple, sue me!). The taste was 5/5. The portions were big, and the staff was very nice. Now the prices are a bit steeper than I anticipated, but honestly it was a few bucks more than a Chipotle bowl, and it was well worth the the few extra shillings. I was looking for a place really close to the Dallas Arboretum and this place was perfect and also affordable. I created this greens/grains bowl bowl: mixed super greens, saffron basmati, falafal, red pepper hummus, tzatziki, roasted veggies, roasted corn, diced tomato & cucumber, kalamata olives, feta, and tahini caesar dressing. I didn't care for the falafel it was dry. Next time I'll get all roasted veggies! Kind of reminds me of Chipotle but better in regards to the freshness and overall quality of the food. Service was good. It was my first time going and the man who created my bowl must've been able to tell because he was extremely helpful in helping me choose based on my diet type without me having to tell him I'd never been there before so I found that helpful. I wish I knew his name to shout him out. He was a tall (compared to me) Caucasian man with dark hair and a friendly smile. I also love lemonade and Cava has really good fountain drink options that include two different types of lemonades. I mixed the lemonade with a specialty lemonade can't recall the flavor but it was excellent. I'll be returning for sure. The store looked clean. You bag your own take out at this shelf station that has eating utensils, napkins, and online pick up orders. I took my food to go. read more

The staff is so friendly but seemingly very nervous. The portion sizes are very small-- smaller than other Cava locations I have been too. Also, the presentation of my meal is not appealing at all (see my photo). I'd maybe give this place another try in maybe a few months after they have more training and build some confidence and a better flow. read more

The service at this location is always very sub par. I've ordered ahead multiples times just to arrive typically 15 minutes after my order is supposed to be ready, and my order ticket is sitting at the beginning of the food assembly area. And there is never more than 2-3 people in line ordering. Food is good as usual. But service is horrific. read more
