345 Adams Street. Brooklyn, NY 11201. 3/9/25 @ 8:21PM EST. This is by far the worst CAVA I've been into. I ordered a rice bowl with chicken, and asked for braised lamb gravy to be added. That's it. I was willing to pay FULL price for a bowl with TWO items. They said no. I requested this SAME accommodation numerous times before at different locations with no issue. But okay, fine. So to meet their demands I purchased an ENTIRE order of braised lamb in addition to the bowl just to get the gravy. Still, no gravy... dry meat only. I proceed to ask for gravy. Another "no". At this point I couldn't endure the embarrassment further. I went back to my car and told my husband. Moments later he returned informing me that he was told that they would NOT provide the refund he requested because I left the store with the bag. And for any further clarification -call corporate. As stated by the manager 'Jamal'. So just so we're clear there will be no accommodations for customers, nor refunds at this location! read more

I placed an order to pick up today at 5:30 pm I got to the store. The woman who was making the salads appear to be under the influence of something and was moving at a very slow pace. I was actually concerned about her. When I got home which was a 2 Hour Drive! there was only two salads when I ordered three and paid for three. While I was at the store, I asked her for pita chips and she said they were closing shortly when I looked on their website that location closes at 10 PM which was around 5 1/2 hours from the time I ask for it. When I called the store back to let her know she only put two salads in the back she said oh there it is. Very disappointing and I will never return to cava. read more

I went to the original Cava in Manhattan (I think it was the first?) and had a 5-star experience, despite the very long line. When it came to BK, so close to home, I rejoiced! Cava is delicious, feels healthy, and for the amount of food, affordable. We go, as two adults and two small children, and have plenty of food with one salad and an extra pita. It's a solid meal for under $15. (Maybe we don't eat a ton, but we always feel full!) This Cava missed a 5th star because on our two visits so far, most employees seem like they would rather be anywhere else and are slightly miserable. Not mean, but there is certainly no joy in Cava-ville.* I'm not sure what is so bad about the working conditions there, but hopefully there are more smiles in the future. I love CAVA... it's the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The food is fresh and flavorful and the portion size is great. They have A LOT of add in's!! The line moves pretty slowly and is always long around lunchtime... about 20 minute wait time. However, they do have a mobile app to order from. read more

I'm so disappointed in the food I ordered. Lamb meatballs a grain and whatever vegetables that were available. Every tray was practically empty. No tomatoes, cucumbers, no lemon vinaigrette dressing. I was lucky enough to get a ticket to their Pre-Ooening tasting! I had the Greens and Grain bowl with the splendid greens, brown rice and lentils as a base. Next I added braised lamb and chicken. There were delicious dipping sauces (I had hummus, tzatziki, and red pepper hummus) and plenty of unlimited add-on. My meal was hefty, filling, delicious and very fresh. All of their employees were friendly and amazing. I even had leftover's that I nibbled on as breakfast. I'd definitely go again. The lemonade from the machine was sweet and delicious. They had a blood orange ginger drink for those who want a less sugary option as well as unsweetened ice tea and some really interesting side flavors. My friend had blueberry soda! I'm really confused by these good reviews - this was one of the worst Mediterranean food experiences ever lol. The food was bad. The staff is rude. I'm pretty sure the hummus is just Sabre hummus. They told us they don't serve pita chips even though there were signs on the website and inside the restaurant encouraging you to try their pita chips? I don't get it. Building a salad bowl with yummy grains --- My friend lives the chicken. I prefer the falafel. Mixed greens and grains is my suggestion. Lots of great flavors and textures. One word I don't think I've ever used for a salad bowl is sharp. But that is an accurate description of the flavors. The absolute worst. I stood here for five minutes while the people working avoided eye contact. Then they decided to take the order of the cop standing behind me. The rudeness of the staff was only rivalled by the fact that they were out of pretty much every topping you could want. Not to mention the soda machines are broken. I ordered a green and grain bowl with falafel and a lot of toppings. That harissa added a nice little kick. I am picky with my veggies but I don't mind them when they are flavorful and that's why Cava is clutch I used their app for curbside pickup. I wouldn't recommend this place. There is something off with the flavor of the food. The worse falafel I've ever tasted. Friday march 3rd 3:30pm I walked in to this franchise for the first time, no one greeted me. i choose a bowl, base, when it was time to choose the toping there were approximately 8 options. I asked the staff for a comprehensive breakdown of the sauces, the staff was non complainant. a second staff took over, she instructed me to the list with the comprehensive breakdown I initially asked for, i crouched down to read it. while reading I stop, and realized that such a nice establishment with healthy menu options should have higher standards of service. in conclusion I'll save my energy and hard cash for a place ready to appreciate it. read more

Oh yes, I always take that come-with pita and an extra one please (wink,wink) not to be confused with the crunchy pita chips they now offer and charge but those r yummy as well. My bowl is 9 times out of 10 unclose-able because I just am that person. You know, that person who doesn't agree with $16 salads unless it can double as dinner too. You know what I am taking about. Nevertheless, Cava's crew (not sure how customer service is worked into their mission) is always pleasant even though I am that customer. Love them. They give larger portions of your protein of here than in Manhattan! I used to just go for roasted vegetables because I'd get a little why-bother sprinkle of dry, chewy chicken every time I asked for it, but I was happily when I saw their generous scoops here. Otherwise, I found that everything tasted pretty much the same. If I had reaaally paid attention, maybe I would've guessed that the quality of ingredients to be perhaps? a little fresher, but I can't say for certain. The chicken certainly looked more fresh and moist that I'm accustomed to for Cava, and my friend got their supergreens but did not complain of any of the rock-hard brussels sprouts that I usually associate with that mix at other locations. Again, I can't confirm any of these positives for certain but I am feeling like I might be partial to this Cava location out of all the others for when I'm craving just a big mish-mash bowl of whatever ingredients I want. read more

The guy cooking on the grill looked up at me while I was waiting to order and completely ignored me. The young ladies that were there same thing! They all turned their heads like I wasn't even there. Mediterranean chipotle but better. Staffs are super helpful when it was my first time visiting. They gave me great recommendations as well. Their pickled onions are wonderful. The texture is firm and chewy, giving your bowl or your pitas a good combination. Seatings are rare during lunch hours but during the nicer weather, plenty of seatings outside. read more

This location first off has a Pending grade so there's that. Despite that I opted to go with it anyway. They're a bit understaffed so I wasn't surprised with the wait, but I was surprised when the person ringing me up didn't feel like putting on gloves when getting the pita that goes with my order. They DID take the glove OUT of the box but attempted to use it like a napkin or tongs and let's just say failed in not touching my food with their bare hands. Said pita is now in the garbage. Did I NEED the pita? No. Did I WANT the pita? Yes. Should I consider myself lucky if this is the worst thing I experience in my life? Also a big yes... but still.
