Cute cafe on the corner with so many options! Ordering is one on large screens along the wall or tablets at the counter. There is bar seating as well as a variety of tables and chairs, making this place ideal for a meet up. I ordered the iced Organic Matcha Milky Strawberry with almond milk, and regular sugar. One thing I liked about these tablets is that it did have some recommended suggestions of what the best milk and sugar level would be for each drink. I found this drink was a little boring and wish I had ordered a topping like cheese foam in addition to it, but was served in a cute plastic mason jar looking cup. My friend got the Creamy Real Taro Paste Bobo with organic oat milk, milk tea and light ice. I had also selected the option to sample the Taro, but sadly was not offered any. This drink was much more exciting and I really enjoyed the unique flavors and texture when I got to try several sips of it. Again, one thing that really stood out was the variety of selections one could make when customizing their drink. This place looks like it has rotating/seasonal options and an interesting food menu as well and so I do plan on returning!
Cute cafe with plenty of seating. I got a drink to go, but the inside was well-lit and well-decorated. Received the Jasmine Green Tea latte with bubbles. Drinks are standard. Bubbles are good and not stale. Service was fast.
This is my favorite boba spot in nyc to get Taro milk tea, they use real taro and its not too sweet. I order this frequently on doordash but this was my first time going in person cause I was in the area. Their onigiri is also pretty good, I got the salmon and avocado one. Its also a big cafe and I saw a lot of people working there
We're visiting NY and we're exploring DT Brooklyn. We needed a place to hang out at while waiting for a table at a restaurant nearby. I got the strawberry matcha drink since I wanted something with matcha. I thought that it would be a bit sweeter but it wasn't and that's how I wanted it! It's just perfect! The space is cool and seemed like a good spot for working or studying or simply hanging out. You have to self-order from one of the pads/kiosks but it's pretty quick and simple.
Great tea spot with some food options like poke bowls in a spacious location in Downtown Brooklyn. I like that you can order from your phone with the QR code, so it's quick and easy. They offer some teas for only $3/4, which is some of the lowest prices. I decided to opt for the Le Guava ($8.50), which was a smoothie consistency. You can taste the guava bits in there, which was nice. If you're looking for a space to work, this is perfect. It's so spacious, lots of outlets, and nice ambiance.
In the passage of my travels through Brooklyn my Yelp bookmarks is now check-in and checked the box. My strong proclivity for bubble tea continues. Four Seasons Oolong tea, $4.50 Debutea has my default topping herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which, of course, I included in my order. The tea alone was average, but with the add-on toppings of my favorite herbal jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 was delicious chilled and fresh. I don't taste any Oolong tea. The herbal jelly was utterly paucity for quantity which appears the industry standard, but for an exorbitant price of $1.00. One word: frugal! I requested "less sugar" which former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg would be proud of my sugar intake level. I highly despise extreme sweet drinks for the high sugar content volume and agree with former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's limiting sugar level initiatives consumption of sugary drinks. As usual again, the ice melted entirely during my long-haul subway ride home. Debutea is one of the few bubble tea business that actually offers small size while all others practice deception of selling medium and large size drinks intentionally (the intent of no small size available) to hike up drink prices for profit over people. One star because I paid cash as did not receive my $0.10 change as the stolid unapologetic with any empathy Debbie cashier/server stated "we don't have change", but can only produce $0.05 for my entitled change. Ergo, I am duped of my remaining $0.05 change. Obviously, Debutea did not open their cash register at the start of the day with the industry standard $300.00 "seed operating money" for a cashier refers to the initial cash fund, or change fund, placed in every cash register at the start of a business day. I previously worked in two (2) brick and mortar retail stores and it was important to start the day with the industry standard $300.00 cash. Oblivious to Debutea seed operating money is not a priority for a business to function. There are abundant seating but I was in a very despondent dispirited disposition that I wanted to exit. It appears a modern tea business and there are hot food prepared. The double glass tall doors are exceedingly heavy and there is a sign "pull hard" as customers have to really work those muscles. This presents a problem for customers who are physically challenged or have mobility issues. It is very accessible via MTA NYC Transit A and C trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street station.
Food/drinks: yumm for the matcha jasmine drink, boba is chewy! Atmosphere: okay hidden gem. I want to gate keep this one so bad. It's so good to work from home from! WiFi + outlets + a ton of seating + and so cute inside!! Service: Average! Price: $$ but they have specialty drinks and you're paying for the nice packaging
Nice place with lots of flavor options for you to try and a good amount of seating to enjoy your drinks and food if you order it. We bought the classic boba milk tea just to set ourselves a baseline and we really enjoyed it. Service was quick and the presentation was very nice! Would recommend
Great atmosphere, great fruit tea and a polished modern look. Debutea mastered the cozy coffee shop feel through fruit tea. The drinks are unique and are definitely the draw. The food seems to be more of an add on and takes away a bit from the atmosphere that it has been trying to cultivate. When you walk into a coffee shop, you expect to smell coffee. When you walk into a tea shop, you'd expect to smell tea, but rather in this case, some food with it. Taste: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value for money: 3/5 1) Creamy real ube paste Bobo - quite good 2) genmaicha green pomelo - not bad 3) Unagi don - this was okay
High quality jasmine green tea latte. Tasty Madeline's. Great atmosphere with lovely decorations. Clean bathroom. Efficient staff members. Will come back.
Cute cafe with various drinks and foods available. Plenty of seatings and outlets for the working and studying folks. I liked the osmanthus grape tea drink, it was refreshing and slightly floral, the tea/clear boba can be on the hard side. My partner got the mango slush(?), they said it isn't as good as HeyTea's Mango series.
i love debutea! best teas around in the downtown brooklyn area, with a large space for hanging out with friends, studying, or doing wfh. service is super fast, and you can order online! i've spent entire days at debutea and my favorite drinks are the strawberry bobo, bobo milk tea, and osmanthus grape, plus some seasonal drinks that have unfortunately rotated out :') they also serve food like onigiri and poke which are a bit pricey compared to actual poke places but still very yummy!

Drink: Debutea offers a variety of milk and fruit teas. I tried the jasmine lychee tea which was refreshing and fragrant. They also offer appetizers, light bites, salads, and other desserts. Their drinks are overall very good quality and better than many milk tea chains. Service: Staff are friendly. Ambiance: The ambiance is excellent, and the cafe is a pretty good size with many tables, chairs, and areas to lounge and work. Many people are there quietly working on laptops or just hanging out with friends. The music is not too loud so it's a nice space to do work in. Overall, I would highly recommend this place! read more

As soon as I walked in this cafe I loved how quiet and calm the place was. It felt relaxing and like a breath of fresh air. In NY cafe music is often way too loud, but this music was at the perfect low volume. Everyone was quietly working, no kids or phone calls, and from then I knew I wanted to return. My matcha was tasty, not as sweet as I am used to but definitely fresh ingredients. Can't wait to go back! read more

The Osmanthus drink and the truffle egg salad sandwich are so fantastic. Also, a really nice place where you can do some laptop work. I would skip the eel roll though. It was not my favorite. Service was good read more

Loved their Boba milk tea !!! No added sugar which I really like!! Gonna try come during Halloween for the blueberry matcha!! read more
I got the taro tea which is made with a taro paste which I didn't particularly like because of the texture but it tasted good. The staff members were kind enough to swap it for a matcha tea which I liked a lot more. This was a good spot for meeting a friend or getting work done. Lots of nice chairs and stools by the window. read more

I love stopping by this place after work! You can really tell how passionate they are about their teas. I haven't tried any of the food items yet, so I can't comment on those, but the drinks are amazing. They always use fresh, seasonal fruits, and I love that they introduce new drinks depending on the season, which keeps things exciting and gives me something new to try each time. Unlike many places that use artificial powders, they make their taro bubble tea with real taro, which makes a huge difference in flavor and texture. The brown sugar they use for the boba is also incredibly rich and flavorful. I've also stepped out of my comfort zone and tried tea flavors I never thought I would--but ended up loving! The osmanthus tea and genmaicha were both unexpected favorites. Another thing I really appreciate is their packaging--it's always so cute and substantial, not flimsy at all. It gives a very luxurious feel, which makes the experience even better. On top of that, the décor is beautiful--lots of plants, which make the space feel cozy and inviting. Definitely a great spot for tea lovers! read more

First time at Debutea. Was feeling something sweet and fruity after dinner, and their mango drink fit the bill. While it did have green tea you could taste, it was more of a smoothie with the blended mango. My friend's signature tea with the spring/summer fruits tasted mostly of the grapefruit and was very tart and somewhat bitter because of it. I had thought about ordering that for myself too, but glad I didn't. We ordered on the touch screen/iPad at the counter and entered my name for the order. It was fairly quiet in there so I went up after 5-10 minutes, and our drinks were waiting on the counter. The seating area was quiet, with other patrons on laptops. The music was just the right volume to make our conversation not feel like an awkward volume. read more
The salad bowl is definitely worth the extra dollar. I washed it out & reused it - very cool! Tonight I tried : 1) TRICOLOR POKE - bbq eel, raw salmon and tuna with seaweed salad, corn, mango, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, edamame, furikake, and kizami nori - over white rice and poke sauce. Fresh and full of flavor. 2) Banana bread. Moist and delicious with crunchy nuts and a sweet crispy crust. Five stars all around. This is my second time trying Debutea delivery. Both times everything was perfect. I also tried their Jasmine Green Tea - it had an intense flavor which I enjoyed. read more
I really enjoyed my visit as well as the drink I ordered which was the pink coco. I really liked the add in of the drink - tasted like the sweet Vietnamese tofu dessert. I was really surprised by the space of the tea bar. It was very open, had plenty of seating, and more space even wrapped around the long bar. It was pleasant to just enjoy my drink and chill. It was a relaxing space. read more

Pretty tasty and refreshing tea! A nice place with a lot of room and very remote friendly for people who want to hang out or work remotely here. I liked their marketing and promotions in the establishment as well. Staff was nice. Would come here to get more boba and work here if I were in the Brooklyn area again, honestly! read more
Debutea saved the day today! I was strugggglinngggg to find a coffee shop with wifi in the Downtown Brooklyn area. I went to 3 coffee shops... some had no tables, most had no wifi, and one had no outlets whatsoever :( After all of the searching around I finally stumbled across Debutea and I felt like I hit the jackpot. The space is very large, lots of seating and super inviting. I love their decor and huge bookshelf that covers the entire front wall (the perfect backdrop for your meetings). Things I loved, - chocolate chip cookies bomb - beautiful interior and a large conference desk that multiple people can sit at - fast wifi and outlet - background music that was actually fun - variety of seating options (some high, some low, some couch-like ... a lil something for everyone) - a CLEAN bathroom *prayer hands* I also noticed that a lot of people had boba. Must be good then. I'll definitely be back again if I find myself in this area and needing wifi! Thankssss read more
Ooh! This place is fabulous! Real fruit tea! Delicious pineapple fruit tea, taro boba and tea latte. Great ambiance. Friendly service. If I lived nearby, would come here every day to write. The boba was slightly too hard, therefore only 4 stars. Otherwise perfect. Ps. I've read so many reviews that started to love shorter reviews, therefore following my own example. read more

I enjoyed my mango milk. I think the price was a little high for the size, but it was tasty and refreshing! One of my friends got a rose latte and she wasn't a fan. It was basically just straight milk. read more
A perfect place to grab some food and drink to go with your wifi. A very cute cafe with sweet drinks, delicious salads, and rice bowls. Nothing was spectacular but we really enjoyed the space. The egg truffle sandwich and the gyudon probably stood out the most for their flavors. The coconut mango was really good. The strawberry milk drink maybe a tad too sweet, especially compared to their milk tea boba, which is on the milder side. They also offer plates of sashimi which are pretty decent! Close to the transit museum so a great stop to couple with a museum visit. read more
This place is everything you're looking for: spacious, clean and delicious. I'm obsessed, and I didn't want to leave! That's when you know you've found a gem We came on a Friday morning and ordered the Taro milk tea and chicken salad. The total came out to $25 I didn't mind because it was fresh, and packaged with care. Let's get into this boba: light, sweet and not too sugary which was the perfect balance. On the to-go bag I read there was no added sugar or artificial flavoring added: you can taste the difference. The salad was poppin, and I don't even like salads. I loved the different textures within the salad: there was roasted chicken, greens, carrots, a boiled egg, quinoa rice and fresh pineapples added on the side. The one who took my order was so kind and helpful. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There are also flowers available for purchase and they also host flower making classes which occur on Saturdays so basically they do it all. I looked it up however and it was $130... I guess I'll just buy myself flowers. LOL TLDR; the best coffee/boba spot in BK to get work done. Plenty of seating and outlets which is extremely rare. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu because everything is good. Go, go, go and support this gem in BK! read more
Such a great modern take on teas! First of all, I was so confused with "bobo" labeled on the wall. But the menu has boba listed on the main drinks. Still confused about it. I tried the fruit tea (with boba)... it was so good! I liked the balance of sweetness and tart. It had a decent amount of fruits and it comes with the fork. The boba was excellent too - not too sweet and perfectly made. Honestly, I felt that it was better than Yi Fang (more balanced). A bit pricer than other places but I would still pay for Debutea Loved the space. Lots of seating and was very cute. One restroom. read more
Came here with my wife on a Saturday around 11am. We were able to get seats. Place is very nice and cute I got the coco mango and my biggest regret was not getting a large. It was so coconutty and mangoey. It wasn't boba in there but some kind of jelly. I really liked the texture. The only way to know what I'm talking about is to go there and try it yourself My wife got the fruit tea and I was thought it was okay. It's on the sweeter side. I like how they provide a fork so you can scoop up the fruits at the end read more
