    Rubber band in gyro

Great spot, good food. Chicken and lamb are tasty. Open late throughout the night and included South Asian drinks and desserts. Needs to be cleaner though. Found a rubber band in my gyro...

Great place for a quick meal. Food is cheap and delicious. Love that they have a lot of options for salad. The fish is oily, I guess it's normal for fried food lol

This is probably the best lamb gyro I have ever eaten. No frills, but really inexpensive.

When we arrived, we were surprised to see that it was a more formal setting as we were looking for something more of a quick takeout type of place. The restaurant is very nice, it has two dining room rooms and sit down service only for the dining rooms. We were approached immediately and sat down at a table by the window. When we explain to the waitress what we were looking for she let us know that we would be able to order gyros or wraps. We ordered two chicken wraps, and one lamb wrap, as well as lamacune. The wraps came with french fries, they were tasty and they came with a white yogurt sauce on the side. The Turkish pizza (lamacune) was delicious, each order has three pieces. The waitress brought us, complementary, hummus and yogurt sauce along with their fresh bread as a starter. Overall, the experience was good and I would go back to this restaurant if I am in the area.

The quality of their food has always been top notch and honestly is my favorite spot for a Turkish meal. Their hummus and basically all their skewers, kababs and grilled meats are simply amazing. Fast forward, I haven't gone to Taci's Beyti for over a year and I just recently went for our anniversary dinner over the weekend. Place still felt the same, so I ordered my hummus, mixed grill and the chicken kebab for the misses. When The entrees arrived, I was a bit disappointed. They seem to have changed what use to come with their main entrees. Gone is the bed of thinly sliced onions under your meats, so is the roasted pepper and also the roasted tomato. Three items I actually enjoyed having with my entree. They also changed the pita under the meats as well but they replaced it with a very sad salad instead, with no dressing or even a vinaigrette at that. Just plain dry leaves with some red onions. They also have two prices now, one for cash and one for credit, the cost has gone up (which I understand) but they've also cut the portions and what use to come with it. Yes the food is still good but after that last trip I am rethinking about ever going back. I am disappointed that either through choice, greed, or whatever they decided to cut back. Time to scout and try some other Turkish restaurants in the boroughs I suppose, and no I am not leaving a one star review, their food quality and taste hasn't changed. I am just very disappointed.

I like the salad bar that has all the offering. The beef kofta was good, but a bit under seasoned as well as the chicken samosa. Beef kofta and lamb over rice tasted a bit healthier by using leaner meat, hence a nicer texture. The chicken tikka was a bit dry and under seasoned as well. I really enjoyed the rice and salad that went along with the meal. The lamb over rice was better tasting than the usually halal cart. I really enjoyed the sauce that was put on the side to go with my meal. I was a bit sad when the beef kofta and chicken tikka didn't come with bread. I will come back for healthier halal option. Also, it was a friendly service.

Crunchy on the outside and the inside had bits of chickpeas and a great texture. The combo of chicken and lamb over rice was a refreshing take. The gyro meat was soft and tasty, rice was seasoned and fluffy. The pickled veggies were delicious and perfect to cut down on the heaviness of the meal. Overall a lovely lunch for $13 total (paid in cash)

When we came to the address, it was a little hard to find the exact restaraunt and we even went to the wrong one. Upon reaching our table and ordering, our appetizers came out very quick and the appetizer was alright. We had the babaganish and it was alright. The spinach salad was the other appetizer and it was decent too. For the main course, I had the calmari and it was 3/5. All in all, the food was decent (3/5). The service was very good. But I didn't like a few things - first, it was hard to find. Second - there aren't enough restrooms, which created long lines. Third - the entrance door and door after entrance door opened in opposite directions and I almost hit my head.

Service was good during weekday lunch since there weren't many people. The food is good but some of the prices are high. We enjoyed the mantis and the plov was delicious but a bit smaller than expected. The beshbarmak was tender meaty goodness on top of some wonton wrappers. The broth was so rich and good especially with the smooth wrappers essentially acting as noodles. The meat was too much for two people though so we took it home.
