Menu has a nice variety of choices. Service was excellent and friendly. - 3 adults and 1 child -Shrimp salad. About 4 jumbo seasoned delish shrimp with mixed greens, corn and avocado. Went to the aquarium and was looking for good food and boy did we succeed in that. Teura has great service and great food. Went at 2:30pm today so wasn't busy. We got the Sophia Loren pizza and chicken fingers with fries for my son. New York pizza is my favorite and Teura did not disappoint. Pizza was flavorful crisp and portion size was perfect. I will def come back to try a different pizza next time. Highly recommend coming to try if going to Coney Island or are just in the area! Absolutely fantastic experience! An amazing family run place with the most friendliest owners we've come across in recent times. Dennis took our order to make a kiddie pasta - plain and simple - penne with butter - but was cooked to perfection. Their Cheese Pizza was a revelation and now, we have a challenge to travel all the way to Coney Island to get try this masterpiece! Food overall was excellent, and the location is great too. We had a very disappointing experience. We waited over an hour for our food, only to be told that the kitchen had never received our order. During that entire time, we asked multiple times about the delay and were repeatedly told that there were people ahead of us, with no indication that anything was wrong. We were dining with two young children, who were hungry and nearly in tears by the time we found out what had happened. What made the experience even worse was the waiter's attitude. He was consistently indifferent, showed no sense of urgency or empathy, and never took responsibility for the situation. Instead of checking on the order or offering a sincere apology, he simply repeated that other customers were ahead of us. Mistakes can happen, but how a restaurant handles them matters. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, poor service, and complete indifference turned what should have been a pleasant meal into a very frustrating experience. We won't be returning. read more

Clean, friendly staff, but the food is terrible. There is a reason I was the only diner during a dinner rush. I received some complementary wood fired bread which was good, but mostly burned throughout. I also ordered a Pescatore pasta and the dish was horribly inconsistent on many levels. Some parts were piping hot. Some parts were lukewarm. Other parts were ice cold. The pasta was cold and horribly undercooked. I took two bites and refused to eat the rest. Overall the whole dish felt processed and reheated. It was an underwhelming experience. Thankfully the staff refunded me my order, but hopefully it will not make me sick. If you aren't a fast food fan and want to eat healthy and delicious food, mark this restaurant so you can go for your next trip to Coney Island - or if you're a local, you MUST go!! The service is also 5 star. The people who work there are very kind, friendly and attentive and make you feel very welcome. You are offered complimentary fresh bread that comes with a delicious tomato spread. Yes, read that again, FREE delicious fresh focaccia-esque bread. I've eaten here 3 times now and tried the seafood soup which is full of generous mixed fresh seafood like shrimp, mussels and more. The fried calamari was a generous portion and came out crispy, fresh and not greasy at all. My husband started with a stuffed mushroom which he ate so quickly- I didn't get a bite! And he loves spaghetti bolognaise and said it was amazing and generous with the beef and balanced with the tomato sauce. I've also tried the shrimp salad which was fresh with 3 giant shrimps, avocado, corn and fresh arugula. My husband has also tried the chicken vegetable soup which he said tasted fresh, clean and homemade. For dessert, we had the tiramisu twice now as it is impressive and definitely homemade plus the portion was generous!! We also had a Peroni beer and were given frosted mugs which made the beer even more refreshing. My husband always has a cappuccino here - quality coffee. We appreciate also that they bring water for your dog, if you sit outside on their sidewalk covered terrace. Thank you for always being so nice to us when we come. What a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in we felt truly welcomed. The host Elias created such a warm and genuine atmosphere that immediately made the evening feel special. I really need to be better with leaving reviews for exceptional places. We came here after an outing at the aquarium and we were not disappointed. The food was not only delicious, drinks were cold, but the service was above and beyond. Our server was very kind, and kept coming back to make sure we were okay and ask if we needed anything. We had the following - arugula salad, bruschetta to start, then for the main course shrimp spaghetti and wood fired pizza with vodka sauce. Our child had Mozzarella sticks and a side of pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. When our server brought out our beers and soda, they were served in frosted glasses. The prices here were reasonable too, portion sizes were appropriate, and we were able to take some of the leftovers home. Highly recommend if you're in Coney Island. Stopped in here after attending a Brooklyn Cyclones game. This place was formerly Pizza Brook, so I was expecting a pizzeria, but the new owner offers a lot more. They lightened up the interior of the place and also added new furnishings. We shared the Mediterranean Grilled Octopus. Very tasty. We also shared the House Special Pizza (beef prosciutto, mixed mushrooms and olives). Delicious. Highly satisfyingly. I also had two Peroni drafts, and our host kindly comped one of them. What a pleasant surprise...stopped in here to get lunch, hoping for a welcome break from fast food row. Found the food to be fresh, deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. Had the muscles, the bruschetta, the eggplant parmigiana rolls and a large pepperoni pie. Prices they have on their website and elsewhere do not reflect current prices, which are about 20% more on everything. Bit disappointed with the amount of wine poured for prices they charge. They also charge 20% grat and 3.5 credit card surcharge which isn't disclosed anywhere, leaving a bad feeling in your mouth. Wow!! What a gem to discover while visiting Coney Island and NY aquarium with the grandkids and family. Pricing is very reasonable for what they offer as well! Pizza was just amazing. The children's menu was perfect for our 4 and under 7 guests. The kids loved every bite! We figured we were all hungry and probably over ordered, however we could not leave much behind! We were all stuffed but of course we had to try some sweets and ordered 2 cheescakes and a tiramisu! My mouth exploded on both of these choices! I happen to make an amazing light cheesecake so I can be tough to please! Well this was beyond any expectation!! OMG the best I ever had!!! The server Bell was truly the best! Everything was cooked well and was very filling. Both of us had to get a to go box! The service was very friendly and respectful. My lasagna was a treat I expected a cut slice from a pre-made tray. I got a huge hot sizzling dish ready made not a tower with layers. But more a deconstructed type . I was introduced to this restaurant by my daughter. It was Janaury; it was dark and cold out. The setting was wintery and bleak. I was like, "Coney Island?" and "nice restaurant?" The two terms don't seem to be synonymous. But I was pleasantly surprised and resolved to return, which I did. The restaurant is across the street from Nathan's Famous, and while that purveyor has its dubious place in culinary history, Teura stands head and shoulders, and then head and shoulders, again, above the normal dreck of Coney Island food. This is not a Garguilio's red sauce Italian restaurant and I'm happy for that. Yes, it does have pizza, but there is so much more to sample. Polenta with mushrooms? Yum. Seafood risotto. Perfect. The complementary wood fired bread with tomato souffle? TO DIE FOR. I have returned repeatedly to this restaurant and have never had a bad meal. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious. The wait staff is always attentive and pleasant, and he has always gone above and beyond to make our night out special. We are never rushed. The spacious seating area is lovely. We generally order a bottle of wine for the two of us, and the wine prices are very reasonable. They recently did a menu change and took off the Albanian-style appetizers, and I was sorry to see them go. Try the Albanian style cheese cake!! Delicious!! The panne cotta? Delightful!
