A takeout container contains a variety of Mediterranean food items, including chopped grilled chicken, a fresh salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce, and toppings like feta cheese, hummus, and a dollop of tzatziki sauce. The food is arranged in separate sections within the container, showcasing different textures and ingredients.

Food was good here! But the ordering was a bit complicated. I ended up just going through the app to select the items I want because theres a limit for the number of toppings you can get. Flavors were all good and bowl was quite filling! This location has seating and which was clean and nice.

The food and customer service is amazing at the 11 Hoyt St location in Bk! Theyre fast at preparing the food too. Trust me, I've been going here for 2 years now and their bowls and Pita sandwiches are the Bomb. My favorite is the OG Falafel Pita sandwich. I also love their fries! They know my face because I order fries almost all the time Definitely come visit this location!

Food : 8/10 I usually get a bowl which consists of green and harissa falafel which is always tasty, turmeric jasmine rice and super greens with toppings(cucumber , tomatoes, almonds, shallots and hummus Service : cashier & supervisor were very thorough. Staff for the most part is friendly and efficient. Def give this spot a try if you enjoy Mediterranean food like I do. Ambiance : always clean, has a bathroom which is only for customers which I enjoy. You can dine in and or take your food to go which I like. You can't sit and just have that alone time with yourself after a long day. They do play music which is a factor if you want peace and quiet you'd best take it to go. Harissa Falafel

My love for Taim has spanned a decade,* so when I found out they were opening up steps from my building, I rejoiced. Then I forgot about it for two months, until I received a coupon in the mail. And what a coupon it was! It got me to walk in the doors of this beautiful new eatery tucked into the new 11 Hoyt development (entrance on Livingston). It's bright, with high ceilings, plenty of seating, and all the high-tech ordering touchscreens you could ask for. (They also take online orders, and I believe have an app as well.) They also have a lovely staff who will also just take your order the old-fashioned way, if you like talking to people. All the other things aside, this new Taim location serves up the same high quality eats I've always loved. I rocked a chicken shawarma bowl, with as many toppings as they'd give me. As expected, their food is all packed with bright, fresh, flavorful ingredients, and it's a lunch I'm going to revisit entirely too often. Happy to have you in the hood, Taim. _____________ *Unfortunately, it is thus far unrequited. They never take me up on my offers of midnight assignations, or exotic holidays together.

I stopped by on a weekend afternoon for a quick bite. I got a chicken Schwarma bowl with the main positives being fresh ingredients, lots of choices and colorful. On the negative side, the chicken was dry. Space was clean. Ordering can be on on app, kiosk or old school with the cashier. This is not a typical dump and go meal place (like chipotle) as all the food is prepared behind the cashier, out of of sight. Seating was aplenty and space was clean. Pricing seemed fair and portions were larger than expected. Bowl allows for 2 bases, 1 protein, 8 toppings and a sauce. Located on Livingston st as part of the 11 Hoyt living residences

A disposable bowl filled with Mediterranean cuisine, including falafel balls, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and multiple sauces such as hummus and yogurt-based dressing, is placed on a metal tray on a wooden table. A black plastic fork is inserted into the bowl, and a piece of foil-wrapped item is beside it. The background shows a blurred indoor setting with chairs and tables.

I am a longtime CAVA fan, but when it comes to falafel, I have to admit Taim takes the cake. Their red and green falafels are both fantastic options, and so hot and crispy out the fryer. I stopped by on a Thursday evening before my solidcore class (conveniently located next door) for some dinner. Like their other locations, there are two self-order kiosks where you can choose a pita or bowl. There are several tables and the space is quite big and clean so you can choose to sit down and eat or take it home. My food arrived fairly quickly and was brought to me by a staff member. Overall, a solid spot for some Mediterranean in the area!

This place is my actual favorite food in all of New York. Absolutely delicious, and the most helpful and friendly staff in the world. Vinny is the GOAT and will take the best care of you if he's there (if you see him tell him Atlanta girl sent you). An absolute MUST VISIT if you're ever in New York. Literally cannot say enough good things. Very chill vibe and extremely clean.

Have I mentioned I LOVE, repeat, I LOVE, Taim . So when I got a notification that they were opening a new location in Downtown Brooklyn, I made a note to eat their delicious falafel ASAP! I've been to many Taim, yep, was at the grand opening on 7th Avenue in Park Slope via Yelp Elite Event and frequent the Flatiron location. Why? The falafel is to DIE for! You can order harissa falafel or regular falafel or BOTH! You can schwarma it, pita it or place it in a big bowl. End result? Yummmmmmmmmm! They also offer mezze with their delicious Zaatar seasoned pita, crispy cauliflower, eggplant and other delicious Mediterranean fare. I haven't eaten falafel in a while thus today I went all the way... green falafel in a pita with seasoned chickpeas, pickles, beets and crispy shallots and added some whipped garlic. Added to that was their famous fries and refreshing ginger mint lemonade. The new space is next to soon to open 11 Hoyt luxury apartment building. The interior is light, spacious, airy and very warm. The entire staff is professional, kind and very accommodating. My lunch was delicious and I made it a point to communicate to all. I told the staff once the apartment building opens be prepared to make falafel after midnight cuz us Brooklynites LOVVVVE our falafel! This Taim is steps away from Macy's and Citipoint. It will be my lunch destination when I visit Trader Joe's. Taim, Shalom and welcome to Downtown Brooklyn. Please open in Bay Ridge next!

Crave Combo chicken shawarma pita

Love the food! I've been to the other location but I like this one Best so far! The chicken Shawarma is delicious and the fries are great! Also, service is excellent. The two guys working today are super nice and would check up on me to see if there's anything else I need. Want to let management know they have good people working here. I highly recommend this location and the Pitas here! I got the falafel the other day and recommend the harissa falafel. Plus, this place is CLEAN! Definitely check this place out! The Crave Combo gives you a good amount of food for just $10! And if you sign up for the App, you can get a $5 reward to use (which is what I did). Tip: I asked for the hummus on the side instead of in the pita. It's easier to eat it that way so I don't overload the pita. Would like to try the cauliflower shawarma next time!

Definitely worth another trip. I got the Cajun club (w/o tomatoes) sandwich and the frozen margarita. Both were soooo good! I chose this place because I had visited a few times in the past and expected a positive environment. While there, I ran into an old friend who was accompanying individuals with special needs. They informed us about the R&B karaoke event, and we attempted to participate respectfully and supportively. Unfortunately, after participating, the DJ became rude and dismissive. My friends decided not to continue because each time they attempted to request a song, the DJ was unkind and impatient, seemingly unaware--or unconcerned--that they were individuals with special needs. The situation escalated when I attempted to calmly address the disrespect. Instead of listening, the bartender repeatedly accused me of being drunk simply because I was defending myself after a rude comment. I was not intoxicated; I was advocating for respectful treatment. Even the DJ's own companion appeared visibly shocked by the comment made toward me, as if anticipating a reaction. I remained composed and professional despite being deeply upset. What disappointed me most was the staff's decision to defend the DJ's behavior rather than acknowledge how inappropriate and disrespectful the interaction was. This reflects poorly on how this establishment treats people--especially those who deserve patience, understanding, and dignity. I came expecting an enjoyable brunch experience and left feeling ashamed for having trusted this place. It is clear that the venue prioritizes protecting mediocre DJs with minimal local popularity over treating customers with basic respect. Poor organization, lack of proper event management, and unprofessional staff behavior made this experience unacceptable. I have visited many establishments and have never felt so disrespected. I will not be returning.

TL;DR version- Some high highs and some very low lows. Hot Figs was a fun app. By a mile, the soups…read morewere the favorites, so I would recommend the Pepián or Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo. Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.
