Don't come here unless you want to ingest plastic. I found two pieces of plastic in my meal today (similar to saran wrap) and flagged it for the staff. I wanted them to know there was plastic in the food in hopes of preventing others from eating plastic, and I wanted a refund since my meal was inedible after finding a foreign object in it (I was less than halfway done). The manager Kim looked at the plastic and looked at me like I had five heads and asked what it is I wanted it. I explained I'd like a refund, and she said best she could do was give me 30% back. I said there was plastic in my food, and I couldn't eat it and I wanted a full refund. She went on to tell me that their food is wrapped in plastic and it's possible it got in the food. She then held the plastic top to the container my meal was served in and said "well, this is plastic" implying that there was no difference between something being served IN plastic and plastic being MIXED IN my food. It's concerning a manager of a food establishment would be so flippant about patrons ingesting foreign objects. I was honestly so shocked by her behavior that I said she was crazy to suggest that and walked out with no refund at all. I ordered ahead of time on the app to try and save some time. It was 8:30 at night and they were still busy with take out orders. When I arrived, the salad wasn't ready but it was still before the estimated time they provided on the app. There was an employee screaming in the back for fun, because the other employees were laughing at it. That was a little off putting. It took a bit to get the salad but when I got it, my order was correct. They didn't include bread but can't remember if I checked that off on the app. Overall, it was fine. They just did a really half done job putting the bowls together. She put in the pickled onions with 2 full scoops of the liquid straight into the paper bowl, so the entire meal was wet and really acidic. She didn't close the bowl before putting it into the bag, so by the time I walked home (4 mins) the bag ripped and many of the contents of the bowl (including the pickle juice) leaked all over my leg and the floor. I was craving a salad and I ended up at sweetgreen. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Ranch. It was delicious and I believe the apples included in the salad gave it a nice touch. I really enjoyed my salad and also the bread that was given along with it. The cashier was very nice and she prepared my order well. The restaurant was pretty quiet since I went in the evening. The location has two separate double doors. Apparently one is locked and you can't use it to get inside. There is no sign indicating this so I was struggling to get inside. Luckily I was able to make eye contact with an employee who signaled for me to use the other entrance. While I ate inside I saw just about every customer make the same mistake I did. I hope they get proper signage. I didn't read the reviews before I stopped by this location. I don't know if it was because I was in person, but I didn't have any issues with portions. According to some of the other pictures, I received a decent amount. I ordered the harvest bowl and it was okay. The roasted chicken lacked seasoning. The bowl honestly tasted better once I got home and all the flavors marinated together. This is my first time having Sweetgreen. I only decided to stop here to avoid the Saturday rush in Dekalb Market, I doubt I'll be back. As a grain bowl lover, I'd opt for a bowl from Cava. I ordered a Hummus Crunch salad and they kept getting my order wrong. The first time I ordered they made the whole salad wrong and put chicken in it. I pointed it out and they immediately remade a new one. Fine no issue. Then as I stepped out I checked my bag and realized they forgot the hummus so I turned back and asked them for hummus and he gave me one. Not a horrible sweetgreen location but not great either. I had a green goddess salad with salmon for $16.45 and it was just okay. The positions were small and for a salad it didn't have nearly enough greens even tho I had a base of spinach and kale. There also were supposed to be two servings of spicy broccoli and it seemed like one but it was just broccoli stems. The salmon was also dry though it was a decent size piece. Also, the lady packaging the food had her mask below her nose which may be an issue for some. I wasn't sweating it that much. read more

I absolutely love sweet green, but I will say my experience at this location was a bit underwhelming. I got takeout and order ahead through the app. For the normal customized salad bowl that I order, this one was pretty small and the bread was unfortunately very stale. The bowl came out quickly which was good! But sadly I was still hungry after finishing the bowl since there just wasn't much in there. When I arrived, the location was packed and another delivery person almost opened the door in my face. Very few businesses take customer feedback as seriously as Sweetgreen. The app is not perfect and I have had a few problems but the company has always made it right. This is one of the worst sweet green locations I've ever been to. The portion sizes are so small, I feel like you're getting 50% of what you would get at any other sweetgreen location. They also frequently forget ingredients if you place the order online. Aaaah so good. Portion was huge so clearly that's not a problem anymore (from what I read in previous reviews). The hibiscus tea is great, the salad is greater and the staff are amazing. I asked for kale instead of spinach and blackened chicken instead of the reg chicken that comes with the chicken pesto parm. I love sweetgreen.
