    #4: 1 Slider with Fries

Love this place so much!! The nice woman in the front was really nice to kids and she was very polite. Great place and the vibe was cool. Best daves hot chicken in nyc for sure.

Came here for a quick lunch because of jury duty. Ordered Dave's #4 1 slider w/froes 10.99+tax. It's served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave's sauce. The heat I chose was mild as I didn't want anything spicy. Chicken was tender, cripsy, and flavorful. Fries were crispy and had sajun seasoning. Service was quick which was good. There were a few tables and not crowded. Would defintely try another heat level next time when I am up for it!

Number 4. Medium. I added cheese on the chicken and fries

First time coming here and I thought the food was great. The girl at the counter was very helpful once I told her I never been there. I ordered a number 4 which came with a chicken slider, and fries. It did not come with a drink, had to purchase one separately. The burger was very juicy and flavorful. I got it medium because I wasn't so sure how "hot" their hot would be. The medium was perfect. I could taste the spicy but it wasn't too overpowering where my nose was runny. The spice levels are in the form of the seasoning on the chicken rather than sauce like on wings. Just an fyi. The sandwich also came with pickles and onions and I added cheese to it because cheese belongs on everything. Speaking of cheese, I got the cheese fries and they were sooooo good!! Nice and cheesy just the way I like it. And it's the good cheese too, not the cheap stuff. The place itself is nicely decorated inside. There's plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your meal. I would come back here when I'm downtown again. Next time I would try the next level or spicy chicken which in my case would be the "hot" one: I will update my review when I try it.

Was really impressed with my experience at Dave's Hot Chicken. I ordered the two slider combo and shared with my husband. Pro tip: this is big enough to share between two people! I really appreciate that everything is made to order. I got the medium which was spiced to my liking and my hubby got the hot, which was pretty hot and he can usually take spice. We also got a side of Mac and cheese which was just okay. Will definitely be back for more chicken!

I was staying in Brooklyn for the weekend looking an easy dinner and this was close to my hotel and I have always wanted to try it!! I placed an online order and it was ready and piping hot when I went to pick it up. I went for the one slider, one tender combo meal. They were both excellent but I'm not going to lie the star of the show was the slider with the Dave's sauce. The tender was good but not as good. I got it medium and the food was excellent! Great service 10/10

The #4 meal. A slider and fries.

This is a delicious chicken sandwich! I ordered the slider meal with the fries. I also got a bottled Sprite and a vanilla milkshake. They also have fountain soda and cups for water. The hot chicken sandwich is available at different spice levels. The "hot" spice level is very spicy but it tasted so good. The fries are crispy and seasoned well. My only complaint was the vanilla milkshake. It tasted like someone poured extra sugar into it. Lynelle C was a wonderful cashier and gave excellent service. The restaurant is a little loud because I went during the very busy afternoon time.

I had no idea Brooklyn had this many Dave's Hot Chicken locations. (4 in total) I was able to try them recently thanks to Drake. Drake apparently is an investor in the business and for his birthday you could get a free slider via ordering from the app. Say less! I visited right before they opened. Only a handful of people were there. I was happy and shocked. The restaurant is colorful with graffiti art and very clean. All staff members were nice and helpful with getting the offer through the app. There is a good amount of seating. By the time I left the restaurant got very packed and busy. I saw on social media that there was an a line outside. The menu is pretty simple: tenders, sliders, fries and drinks. You can choose your heat level from the 7 options available. Ranging from no spice to reaper. I opted to get the slider with the kale slaw, pickles, Dave sauce with my heat level at hot. Boy was that mess hot! lol I was shocked. The trick is to add more of the Dave sauce packets to mask the heat. Once I did that it was smooth sailing. The slider was filling and fried nicely. I would definitely visit again but will opt for the medium heat. Follow @iFancyNY on instagram for more!

This place used to be Hill Country Chicken. I'd say it's a suitable replacement if you're craving a chicken sandwich. It's smaller, but clean and the service is friendly and quick. I got my food not too long after ordering. The chicken sandwiches are awesome. The "Tender" looks like a giant chicken breast and is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I love that you can also control the level of spice for your slider. I initially balked at the price of the two sliders with fries (14.99), but it's actually quite a lot of food because the chicken in the sliders are huge. I think the meal has a little more value because the sliders alone are 7.49. Overall good.

I liked the food here but the wait turned me off. I may try to come back at store opening or after 2pm . So basically it is chicken fingers or chicken sliders Fries and shakes. One can order no spice or up to fire spice I liked the freshness of the slider bread (potato roll) and the crunch on the fries. The chicken tasted very fresh and non processed. I got mild spice slider and a packet of honey that made my slider taste even better. The #1 came with cole slaw and pickles. It might be worth the wait because my food tasted very fresh

Service was decent. The wait wasn't long and it wasn't too busy. The food is a good 7/10. We got medium heat and it wasn't hot at all. I'm from Louisiana so I know heat. However, the food was tasty and I ate it all. The sauce is good too

I walked into a bright, clean, and energetic restaurant with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. I went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing I have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during my visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.
