Great place for a tasty lunch and nostalgia from the 80's. I came across this place after looking in Yelp and saw that I was parked close by. As I had limited time I chose take out, the menu is fun and the usual fare for fast food. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich lunch combo for $10, which included fries/tater tots and a drink. I also ordered a milkshake which is $7.50. Service from staff was quick. Inside the restaurant, there are different video games stations at each table. This would be a fun night out with friends. Ambiance is fun.

Atmosphere: I loved the nostalgic, 80's arcade theme atmosphere of this restaurant. When you walk in, the doorbell rings and it mimics the sound of an arcade game starting. The floors and counter have squares that glow with different colors. Each of the tables came equipped with a TV, gaming console, and controllers so that guests could play a game with their friends while waiting for their food. Service: The service was nice, hospitable, and quick! The cashier helped me decide between different items I wanted to order. Food: I was impressed to learn that this restaurant was Halal. I had the lunch special, which came with a burger, fries, and a drink. It may be a personal preference - but I did not like how the fries were cut; I would have preferred traditional wedge-cut fries.

Came here on a Saturday evening. Place was packed. So packed the cashier had to let ppl know it's a 30 minute time limit. Then ppl started getting up to leave. We sat in two different tables. All the kids ranging from 8-13. The worst for the food was pretty long. Not sure if it's because they cook it when you order t because it was very busy. I didn't know the fries had a Cajun seasoning. And the burger i ordered came with pickles i asked for no pickles which they did but also didn't give me the grill onions it came with . Again it was very busy so i didn't complain as i would've any other time. The burger was okay I'm not sure if it's because I was looking forward to eating it with the onion or what lol My husband loved the chicken but he said the dry rub on the wings was not that great. My young daughter got churros she loved them. My 12 year old daughter didn't seem to like the fries. I mean it's a really cute place to hang and play games. Maybe my husband will come again with the kids . But not my scene .

8-Bit Bites is on the corner of Bedford and Dekalb , we went on a Sunday and it was plenty of street parking. When we walked in , it was a couple tables available. Each table has a gaming console with a long catalog of games to choose from. We were a party of four and some of the games have up to 4 players which was prefect. Staff consists of one person with a Mario hat basically taking orders , cleaning tables and helping with the games when they freeze. He was helpful. Orders can be placed either at the register or from a kiosk. We ordered chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and fries. The shakes can be made with a variety of flavorful add ons and cereal flavors. Everything else is meh. I would visit again for the games , fun and time with the family. Not so much for the food.

The boneless chicken wings were very tender and flavored well, all the while maintaining a great crunch. The smash was also really good though I would recommend getting a double patty to make it a little bit more filling. I really loved how well the fries were seasoned, places often fall flat when it comes to their fries but this wasn't the case here at all. Adding gaming stations at every table was a fun touch for the ambiance, kept us entertained with childhood games while we waited for our food. Service was great, the cashier was patient and answered the questions we had and provided recommendations as well. A great staple for halal fast food establishments, I'll definitely be back again.

This is becoming a go-to place for tasty burgers and fries. Quality is good, prices are more reasonable than at similar restaurants, and - best of all - service here is always warm and welcoming.

10% for egg inflation fee is insane when I did not order any eggs! Besides that, the food was good and the kids had a great time.

I brought my son and nephew here for some fun time, a 10% egg inflation fee! I did not order anything that would justify that price!

A super cool concept with some great halal comfort food! The inside is super cute, mario/video game themed and offers multiple stations for you and others to play old school video games! My husband, for one, was veryyy excited to play the video games. The restaurant is fairly large and is a great space for families. It's counter service, so you order at the counter and your name gets called and all of the staff was very nice! Now, the food - it's pretty legit! Our favorite are their gochujang wings and the loaded tots - we've ordered delivery from here from time to time as well and it definitely hits the spot. Their wings are boneless - just a warning - but personally I find them easier to eat (i know, i know, please don't come at me). The milkshakes are pretty good too as are their smash burgers and chicken sandwiches! I heard they recently added breakfast so can't wait to try that! Overall, I think this is a great spot both for dine-in and take out if you're looking for a family friendly space and/or comfort/game day food! It definitely has a strong nostalgic factor that makes it fun for everyone!

Based on social media popularity, I knew my son would love to "eat like a kid" while gaming. After visiting two locations, we loved Bedford Avenue more than Lexington Avenue, which they self-described as small as an NYC apartment and better suited for takeout orders. The original location on Court Street is next on our tour if there is parking (of course). The Bedford Avenue location was definitely spacious. You could order at the kiosk or counter. I loved the LED floor that changed color with every step; the great menu (burgers, fries, wings, milkshakes, and desserts); the friendly customer service; game controllers at every table; the standalone arcade game in the corner; 4 huge TV screens that became a mega screen; the music; and colorful decor. A weekday lunch was perfect timing; no crowds. However, when it's a party of three hungry diners, you can expect to wait, and gratuity is automatically added to the bill. We ordered the double patty smash burger with fries, impossible patty smash burger, five tenders with fries, churro bites with chocolate sauce, iced tea, and bottled water. My compliments to the chef because seasoned food = satisfied fans. I had such a positive experience that I did a little karaoke and dance on the LED floor. Sorry, no footage to share lol.

We walked in, and Joanna met us with a smile ready to help three newbies with our order. As we played throwback video games, the food was being prepared. Within five minutes, playing the food was brought to us. The food was fresh and fulling. Let's not talk about the milkshakes. We will definitely be back.

Cool concept. I guess we came on the wrong day. It's a friday, and the grills are down, so we could only fryer options. I ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It's basically a chicken tender on a bun. it's decent but small and a little dry. The French fries are good thou similar to like a Buffalo chip. The atmosphere is high energy. Plenty of kids, thou. Staff is all very friendly and accommodating. They had 2 power ranger characters when we walked in. That was a nice touch. Good for family night. It's decent for a friendly date night Game stations throughout loaded with games it's a nostalgic gamers Palace

Loved the vibe of this place. Alot of nostalgia and memories of the 90's for me. I just had a standard cheeseburger. It was solid enough for what it was. Service was great!

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

This place was perfect and its menu was choke full of bargains and bonuses. This place was cute; I mean the bar was front and center and was very impressive but the table seating was charming too. Their lunch menu has a great "build your on burger" which i had a blast doing: Burger Cheddar Cheese Bacon Grilled onions Lettuce Tomato Mayo / BBQ con The service was exceptional, the ambience was very "Taverny [sic]" and my lunch was delicious!

Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. They say some things age like fine wine, and I believe this restaurant falls in that category. After 55 years, this family oriented fast food shop known for its famous roast beef sandwich and other popular greasy goodness is still standing. I swung by recently for my usuals and glad to report that everything still tasted the same, just slightly more pricey year after year as expected. My regular order has always been the Roast Beef w/ Cheese, which was maybe $4 when I first tasted it over 25 years ago. It is now $9.45 or $.50 less for no cheese. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy. The ooey gooey cheese makes it complete for me. Everything else is solid. Nothing fantastic or worth driving out of your way for. Don't come here looking for the best version of everything on the menu. We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. Tables are a little close together but it was ok. We got the double cheeseburger with egg, fried bologna, and fries w/aioli sauce. Fries were perfect and loved the sauce - would get the fries everytime. The fried bologna was good but salty - needed to get a coke to help cut through it. The cheeseburger was delicious. I have been to the one in chicago before and so wanted to try the NYC location. We tried the matcha lemonade - tasted more like just lemonade - would not get this again. Friendly staff and would come back! Great place to bring out of towners.
