Great place for a tasty lunch and nostalgia from the 80's. I came across this place after looking in Yelp and saw that I was parked close by. As I had limited time I chose take out, the menu is fun and the usual fare for fast food. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich lunch combo for $10, which included fries/tater tots and a drink. I also ordered a milkshake which is $7.50. Service from staff was quick. Atmosphere: I loved the nostalgic, 80's arcade theme atmosphere of this restaurant. When you walk in, the doorbell rings and it mimics the sound of an arcade game starting. The floors and counter have squares that glow with different colors. Each of the tables came equipped with a TV, gaming console, and controllers so that guests could play a game with their friends while waiting for their food. Came here on a Saturday evening. Place was packed. So packed the cashier had to let ppl know it's a 30 minute time limit. Then ppl started getting up to leave. We sat in two different tables. All the kids ranging from 8-13. The worst for the food was pretty long. Not sure if it's because they cook it when you order t because it was very busy. I didn't know the fries had a Cajun seasoning. And the burger i ordered came with pickles i asked for no pickles which they did but also didn't give me the grill onions it came with . Again it was very busy so i didn't complain as i would've any other time. The burger was okay I'm not sure if it's because I was looking forward to eating it with the onion or what lol My husband loved the chicken but he said the dry rub on the wings was not that great. Each table has a gaming console with a long catalog of games to choose from. We were a party of four and some of the games have up to 4 players which was prefect. Staff consists of one person with a Mario hat basically taking orders , cleaning tables and helping with the games when they freeze. He was helpful. Orders can be placed either at the register or from a kiosk. We ordered chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and fries. The shakes can be made with a variety of flavorful add ons and cereal flavors. The boneless chicken wings were very tender and flavored well, all the while maintaining a great crunch. The smash was also really good though I would recommend getting a double patty to make it a little bit more filling. I really loved how well the fries were seasoned, places often fall flat when it comes to their fries but this wasn't the case here at all. Adding gaming stations at every table was a fun touch for the ambiance, kept us entertained with childhood games while we waited for our food. Service was great, the cashier was patient and answered the questions we had and provided recommendations as well. Fun place with some decent if not extraordinary food options. Mainly burgers and chicken sandwiches--pretty tasty, though the advertised spicy chicken is not in fact particularly spicy. I appreciate the tater tot fry option, and feel like they just need a few more app options (e.g., mozzarella sticks or jalapeno poppers) to provide just a tiny bit more diversity among the menu options. Where choice is virtually unlimited here are in your video game options. Everything from classic Atari to modern video games to everything in between is right at your fingertips. Some games are clunky/slow to load, but once you are in and grooving it is super fun. Honestly, I think the adults have more fun gaming here than the kids. The decor here is a colorful, delightful pastiche of video game imagery, and certainly adds to the vibe. I had been here a couple of times for regular visits and found it fine if not great (probably leaning more like 3 stars), but we recently hosted a kid's birthday event here--somewhat last minute pivot from an outdoor park because of pending bad weather--and could not have been more impressed, both in amount of food for the price, but also in the enthusiastic and helpful service. Went over there on July 16, 2025 at around 6 pm. It was very hot that day so I wanted to get out of the heat and I've heard great things about this place. However, as soon as I try to pull and push on the door, it was locked. There was also no buzz to let me inside. I was so hungry and yet I was not able to go inside. The Open sign was on and I saw people working inside. There was also an advertising sign outside to go inside and enjoy the food and experience. I really hope the owner reads this and questions those employees who were inside at the time. I'm very disappointed in this business. Came to 8Bit Bites to celebrate my friend's birthday this past weekend. I could be misunderstanding the marketing, but initially thought it was an adult venue akin to Dave & Busters, but was surprised to find it bustling with kids upon arrival. My friends came in before me and upon sitting they had to clean off a table. It is a bit on the smaller side. There are sit-down gaming consoles and arcade games and a light-up floor to add the "game room" touch. I loved that they had a Ramadan menu. My friend's excitement to play the games was infectious, and we were all eager to join in the fun. After a couple of rounds of Mario Kart we wanted to switch to Pac-Man and once started we noticed that the game wasn't registering to any of the controllers. While some of us ordered food (note: no alcohol available), the phone ordering option was confusing, so we opted for in-person ordering. The staff was friendly. We tried two other games after Pac-Man and noticed the recurring problem of the controller not registering. We took a food break and my friends weren't in favor of the food but liked the dessert. Personally tried the boneless chicken, agreeing with my friends' assessment. Disappointed by both the food and gaming experience, we decided to leave. We went on Saturday around 8 pm, and the crowd started to get a little older when we were leaving. A super cool concept with some great halal comfort food! The inside is super cute, mario/video game themed and offers multiple stations for you and others to play old school video games! My husband, for one, was veryyy excited to play the video games. The restaurant is fairly large and is a great space for families. It's counter service, so you order at the counter and your name gets called and all of the staff was very nice! Now, the food - it's pretty legit! Our favorite are their gochujang wings and the loaded tots - we've ordered delivery from here from time to time as well and it definitely hits the spot. Their wings are boneless - just a warning - but personally I find them easier to eat (i know, i know, please don't come at me). The milkshakes are pretty good too as are their smash burgers and chicken sandwiches! I heard they recently added breakfast so can't wait to try that! Overall, I think this is a great spot both for dine-in and take out if you're looking for a family friendly space and/or comfort/game day food! Based on social media popularity, I knew my son would love to "eat like a kid" while gaming. After visiting two locations, we loved Bedford Avenue more than Lexington Avenue, which they self-described as small as an NYC apartment and better suited for takeout orders. The original location on Court Street is next on our tour if there is parking (of course). The Bedford Avenue location was definitely spacious. You could order at the kiosk or counter. I loved the LED floor that changed color with every step; the great menu (burgers, fries, wings, milkshakes, and desserts); the friendly customer service; game controllers at every table; the standalone arcade game in the corner; 4 huge TV screens that became a mega screen; the music; and colorful decor. A weekday lunch was perfect timing; no crowds. However, when it's a party of three hungry diners, you can expect to wait, and gratuity is automatically added to the bill. We ordered the double patty smash burger with fries, impossible patty smash burger, five tenders with fries, churro bites with chocolate sauce, iced tea, and bottled water. I love this location! This location is so much bigger than the one on Court Street. It has multiple seats AND they time people at the table when it is crowded. They have different size tables as well for different parties. I ordered the boneless wings with honey siracha and it was so good. I can't wait to go back with more people next time. I went again yesterday to see that business had picked up ( a mad house of kids and music) and the energy was much more elevated. After 12 minutes of waiting around, we ask... hey when is our food ready? The man says 15 more minutes. So we say we are pressed for time and have to head out... it then takes another 8 min or so TO GET THE REFUND..... Bedford location:: Order "wings and fries" but to my disappointment "wings" were boneless- menu should be changed to tenders and fries... the French fries were super salty... did not enjoy. The service was just as bad... Emanuel was the person taking the orders at the time and he seem to not want to be there AT ALL... my group sat at a table where the controller just froze/ stopped working; when I got up to ask for help; Emanuel simply told me to press the two buttons on the controller which I let him know I did and i told him it still was not working in which he responded-visibly annoyed- just try it without coming out of his station or sending someone to actually help... my whole group had to get up and relocate to a different table... The place itself however was fun with the games and such- once we found a working console of course- which is the reason why I'm even giving the place one star... Might go to a different location than the one located in Bedford to see if my experience changes and gets better read more

I attended a party here last Saturday. they delayed the party time one hour leaving me with my grandchildren outside in the cold. I had to find a place to go for an hour to get out of the rain. After getting into the place we had to wait for food, ask constantly for forks and plates and napkins , some of the games stopped working and the manager was very rude.
