I don't remember the gentleman named but I believe against with two Hispanic Brothers have delivered to me before and they know the address they know that neighborhood they're friendly and I always give a good tip because they deliver my pancakes hot and my eggs hot and fresh. The food was good I must say but the customer service was the worst I've ever had ever encounter. The young lady the way she brought out food to the table is like it was going to fall out of her hands because of the way she was holding it she brought us grits a half an hour after we've had the Lumberjack special which I was almost finished my food I had to wait 10 minutes before she brought butter which she never brought we had to ask someone else to bring and syrup. I ordered a grilled chicken with salad and bacon wrap. I specified NOT A CHICKEN SALAD. I specified because they have made this mistake numerous times. They made the mistake again. I called back to complain and instead of apologizing and correcting the issue, she rather argue with me that I ordered it wrong. I asked for the manager and she decides to leave me on hold for 10 minutes. took my wrap, jumped in my car and headed over to get my money back. I showed her the picture on the menu and said "How do I order this"? She says Chicken wrap. Nowhere on the menu was anything that said "chicken wrap" I told her that my company orders from this diner 3 times a week spending $100's of dollars a week. She said she didn't care. Well, I hope the owner doesn't care either that their incompetent staff (girl with the tacky fake blue eyes) would rather defend her wrong order and drive away their business instead of a simple apology. Hidden jewel in Canarsie! I am not familiar with the neighborhood but was in the area for a business meeting. My colleague and I were wondering where to grab a quick, healthy bite but all we could see were fast food and storefront Chinese places. My GPS suggested this diner and it did not disappoint! There were only two people there around noon today. A waitress and the cook. (May be a married couple). They're severely understaffed. The wait times were long but the way the food came out was almost comical: 1. We got mozzerella sticks first (before the tea and coffee we ordered or even water for the table) 2. She didn't bring water until I asked and she brought a single Poland spring instead of water for the table and no cups 3. They have Tropicana orange juice cartons but it took forever just to get one 4. We preferred two teas and only got one so we just cancelled the other 5, almost every table complained while we were there, sent food back or was missing something from the table 6. The food was passable but my girlfriends potato's were undercooked and we definitely weren't impressed with it overall 7. Since my gf didn't eat her food i asked to have it removed--the waitress crossed off a random price--not the amount of the food. 8. We redid the math because we were overcharged. Recommended by the folks at the Petsmart across the street. Much better recommendation than we were getting from Yelp. Interior is typical diner chic. Lots of plants, Formica, and TV's. Menu is about ten pages long. Looks like they'll cook pretty much anything you'd want. We went back and forth and changed our minds several times, but settled on french toast and a feta omelette. Food was excellent. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Home fries with the omelette were worth honorable mention. Service was great. Waitress was patient with our indecision. Hands down I love that I found this hidden gem thanks to Yelp! There's not many options for you to eat living here in Canarsie and when you think of diner food to be safe I think everyone just resorts to ihop...but I can definitely say this food tops ihop! The pancakes are so yummy and soft thus why I always get the lumberjack seems to never fail. The food is always made quick and fresh and the prices are ...the only downfall would definitely have to be the waitress who is not too friendly but gets the job done I guess. Overshot the service lane, made a few illegal maneuvers, and got to the place; parked on the street across from the diner; in ankle socks and slides; just to get some food and get back to my weekend paperwork. Pancakes, eggs, bacon ? OK. Let's get that. Now, I am very particular about my pancakes, after all, I make very good ones and have been called on to make them since I was 14 YO. I can add blueberries, bananas, cornmeal etc. So, wow me ! I don't like the white pasty types, or the flat thin types, or the dry doughy types. My bacon has to be limp, not crackly and overdone, egg whites done firm, not watery. And, that's what I got: huge, textured, soft, golden brown pancakes, limp bacon, tasty sausages, and firm, folded egg whites $10 + $1 tax = $11. OK, then ! read more

This little diner is right in my backyard in the industrial side of town but this was my first time there. If you blink you'll miss it. Why? Although it's across the way from Canarsie's BJ's shopping lot, it's often obstructed from view by the large trucks lining the street. This is after all down the block from the Terminal Market, so lots of trucks. First, it's a small little Mom & Pop kind of place that looks like it's seen better days. The decor is old and outdated and lots of potted plants line the window sills. The flooring needs to be redone and my table shook any time I touched it. Everyone wore their coats on account of how cold it was inside. One of the workers requested that the delivery guy raise the heat and he did. I kept my coat on as it warmed up! My waitress (Hispanic lady) was very nice and promptly offered me a menu and coffee. I waited an unreasonable amount of time for the food to come out but the cook ( who is visible) was the only one back there, fielding many rapid fire orders from the "hostess" (African American lady) and some of them were for delivery. I patiently waited and sipped on my coffee, served by the way in a disposable cup! I ordered a vegetable omelette subbing the side of potatoes for grits. My omelette was tasty and home-made like but my grits were lukewarm and a bit bland. They are after all grits, so I doctored them up to my taste, as best as I could. I originally wanted shrimp with them, but not on the menu. Lol Oh well. Overall I'd give this place a C but since it's only minutes from me, a C+ it is. read more

Excellent diner! Came here for breakfast yesterday and had an amazing breakfast. I ordered their Belgian waffle with an iced coffee and it was delicious! The owner and wait staff gave great customer service and I felt at home in this diner. The diner is American but has Greek touches which gives it an authentic feel to the establishment.
